Story time

Come and see new tactics this buyer used....he opened afternic account and regged Mr Octtopus same day he/she place the offer and put it for sale for 1200$ ....he/she did it so I will think he/she is a domainer and a newbie at that cause the names he/she has in their portfolio is complete rubbish..... screenshot below....the person did it so I will think they aren't serious ......

They sent offer 6 days ago 1500$ I reject they sent 1800 I reject they sent 400,500,1300..I kept rejecting..and countering close to my bin ..this went on for hours...I swear it got so tiring even afternic rep tell me they think it's fake offer...after they won't stop bothering and kept resending 1500 even tho I kept trying to make am move up like they did before they no gree...giving me headache....me I just accepted the 1500 since I felt it was a fake offer make they just gettat and afternic to ban the account when he/she doesn't pay.. so after 6 days of accepting the person pay I was shocked and surprised...

Also the domain had fast transfer on but since it was offer I had to transfer manually mhmm I never knew that...


I know I shoulda accept the 1800 but who cares jare it don go.... I do have another octopus sounding domain and its even better so I didn't have issue letting this go..its not that good...I shall miss the domain but not that much

Reason I regged this name was I first checked to make sure..

And octopuss were all regged and in use ..they were porn sites lol.....I don't really reg this kind of double letter things unless they are very good .this was good enough I guess....the way I set my Ed filter nowadays sef I won't see this kinds of domains anymore

Ps: I had 420 domains last year newbie things ..we dey rush reg. This is why it's nice for newbies to have someone to guide them but eventually you need to find your own path cause names I hate have sold alot....over 250 of my domains don expire now lmao....I am letting the bad ones go my portfolio might turn 70 soon sef...trying to focus on quality since I don run comot outbounding...

Compared to last year when I reg like 35 domains a month with borrowed money lol.....now I only reg like 3 a month....but I check Ed every single day.....no bi say names aren't good oh but I too dey judgemental nowadays I can't waste money anymore....most old members don't pick names they can't sell above 3000$ or 10k$ .....so even tho they see a name that's good if it's not bringing big money they leave am..which is were we come and take lol

Pls when you see a domain that sounds good to you on ED, what are the first 5-7 things you do, or check, to determine if you will eventually buy that particular domain name?


What are some:-
-metrics you lookout for?
-things you check for in each domain name?
-most used sites?
-some must-have tools for a domainer that you rely on to help you be consistent

pls share some of your proven tips on how you snag premium domain names from ED(or other sources), most of the good looking names always seem to be registered quickly

Any luck with this. Still stuck. I had to use another email to open new account. Same story.

The first account which I used-BUSINESS, when I sent their support a message they said PEP(political exposed person). I check the meaning in Google- they said 'someone likely to collect bribe'.

And na my normal National ID (MasterCard) I used.

Finally thought perhaps is the BUSINESS brouhaha and went an open PERSONAL with another email yet verification taking forever.
