I am actually considering starting from the corner of my house (with the aid of mannequin & social media) for now, as I don't have any start-up capital for the business.

Its weird I know, but i intend starting with my wedding gown, and few of accessible friends and sisters' own. Till i am capable of sewing or buying myself.

As its long been a concealed idea, and I don't want to throw it away, nor let it stay unactualized any longer......

Thanks for your response. Please I still need to know when you were inducted and when you submitted your business plan. I was inducted on 20th May 2017 and submitted my business plan under the performance window on 15th April, 2018. To date GEM hasn't communicated with me. Just wanted to know if we're in the same performance window.

Induction was August or September 2016. Worked with a BDSP till March 2018 when I submitted plan, crossed the 100 points February 2019, submitted another business plan and received the mail yesterday

I applied under performance grant and my business plan has been approved. I have submitted grant memo and other documents and also open an account. Waiting for disbursement.. They said there will be a month interval between first and second tranche.

Anyone in this stage too?

Please when did you cross the 100 point? Was it before January

I believe everyone that has been recommended for 2nd tranche payment by Pwc will be paid even if it is on deadline day. For those in the performance Window currently being visited by monitors, please ensure your monitor does not leave without a video recording of your main business operation, because it is that video plus other report by the monitor that KPMG will review to decide if to approve you or not. I hear those under the performance window might get 1st and 2nd tranche paid at once, do not know how true this is though.

Hmm, he didn't ask for a video though as I am majorly a service provider.

However, get your books in order, profit & loss statement, cash flow records etc, they will take pictures

Dear MSMEs,

 

Please disregard, the previous communication about the deadline for grant application being today midnight.

We did not want to take the risk of you losing out completely on the opportunity when we got the information. We tried to verify directly with GEM’s office yesterday but they had closed.

 

This morning we were able to clarify with them and we were told that the deadline does not apply to you all here.

 

The deadline for today 5pm is only for those are doing their disbursement documentation i.e those that are on track for receiving their grants.

 

For those of you on matching grant level who have started applying, please do not continue your application. Wait until you get to 100% score for performance grant.

Those who have reached the performance grant level and have commenced application, you can continue but take your time to put in a good application and do not be in a haste to click the submit button today.

 

We are very sorry if any of you in matching grant level has applied because of the previous communication.

Did the induction September 2016, went through a training process with a business support office in 2017/2018. The documents submitted during the training are being graded on the portal. That’s all the info I have
