The call log of his mobile phone also showed that he had regular communication with the PDP chief. The suspects would have been lynched by irate mob but for the quick intervention of policemen, report said, The suspects and the INEC vehicle with registration number – FG 816 V01, used in transporting the materials are presently held at the state CID office in Oshogbo. Gradually Nigeria is becoming abandon project but if the three major tribes are saying they are better of as a sovereign nation is the marriage necessary any longer? But until it happens we will remain patriotic to the marriage. |
eyeview: This pastor has decided to do what over 120million nigerians and their leaders have refused to do and instead of encouragement to go ahead and our prayers for him to do this seemingly impossible task,we are insulting him,his tribe, his faith and even his God? Some even wishing him even ebola,I don't get it,instead of wishing death to the abductors, people are wishing death to the man who even wants to dare a divine rescue? What has gone wrong with you people's psyche? Why so much hatred especially when its in the name of God? Had that man been a wizard declaring to enter zambisa forest, you people will hail him instead. It reminds me the case of a pastor that tried to tame Lions in UI's zoo some years back(also directed by holy spirit he claimed). Guess what happened the lion made him appetiser, one million hosanna could not save him. Better still he can go to sambisa without announcement. |
Would your sympathy bring back the mallam's son? |
BlackPeni5: If your people had reported it as shrapnels in the beginning, it would have been better. Now see how you guys have lost credibility due to cheap political points.Modern day definition of Literacy is to learn, unlearn and relearn not just the ability to read and write. Go through the definition of shrapnel again you will understand that it is a product of bomb shell. So the fact remains that a bomb was targeted at GMB. Op thank you for the enlightenment. |

CONCISE REPORT ON AKURE FOR ISLAM (Phase7) - COURTESY OF ACADEMY OF ISLAMIC PROPAGATION, ACADIP NIGERIA. The long awaited ACADIP Open-Air Comparative Lecture tagged "AKURE for ISLAM (Phase7)" came to live on November 29th and 30th at Democracy park, Akure, Ondo State. The weather was friendly, and the venue was spacious and conducive. Thousands of Muslims and non-Muslims from all nooks and crannies of Ondo and Ekiti States were in attendance. Beyond imagination, the turnout was very impressive and amazing. Eminent personalities, Spiritual fathers, Government functionaries, Top politicians etc were in attendance. Lovers of our programmes from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, Edo, Delta, Kogi, Kebbi, Kaduna, Kwara, Niger and FCT stormed Akure in order to grace the 2-Day Public Lectures with their presence. People from France, Emirate, Benin-Republic, United States of America were also in attendance. Enthusiastic as the audience was, by 8pm, people were already on seats, with religious zeal and vigour, eagerly waiting for the comparative sermon to commence. The Programme started exactly 11:00pm and ended 4:30am of the following day. The first day Lecture went on smoothly with no session for "Questions & Answers" There were powerful motivational speeches and testimonies from the invited Speakers, ranging from Professor Buniyamin Alalaye, Lieutenant Conel Anthony Ojomo, Evangelist Kunle Olohunoje, Alhaji Alli Akewukewe, Former Evangelist Peter Adebisi, Former Reverend Dr Ibrahim Joel to Former Pastor Chukwu Emeka Ohajimadu. The second segment of the Programme featured Launching of the maiden edition of AL-MUBALLIGH (ACADIP) Magazine. The Magazine is a masterpiece, consisting many interesting write-ups, articles & interviews. It was directed by the Grand Imam of Akure-Land, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Akorede. As if the Lecture should not come to an end, the cotton was however drawn at exactly 4:30am with a suspending prayer from one of the high profiled Imams, Sheikh Shuaib from Ayetoro Mosque, Akure. The second day Lecture commenced at about 11:00pm, with a Goodwill message from the Grand Host, Professor Ishaaq Adekunle Amoo from FUTA, Akure. Many non-Muslims were already on seats enthusiastically willing to ask questions. A 45-minute Sermon was firstly delivered by us. The first Questioner was Mr Israel Kolawole, a Christian from Rock Immaculate Church of Christ, Akure. Hear what he said "I was here yesterday listening to your sermon and that of the invited speakers. I have nothing to ask than to embrace Islam tonight" Without any delay, he was made to pronounce the Khalimatu-Sha'adah (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah & Muhammad is Allah's Messenger) Allahu-Akbar! Mr Israel is now Muhammad-Taofeeq. Immediately after Mr Israel's conversion to Islam, another Christian Sister, Seun Michael from Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Iye, Akure also came up on stage and declared her intention of becoming a Muslim. She took the Sha'adah and became Lateefat. Mr Peter Nkena from Anambra state was the third Questioner that came up on stage with a view to asking some Questions. He was however stunned to have seen an Igbo man, a former Pastor, now Alhaji Chukwu Emeka Murithadho Ohajimadu, aka, Messiah of Igbo-Land, preaching Islam in the public. He asked so many Questions on Salvation, and he was given perfect answers accordingly. One of his Questions was "how could an Islamic Shariah support cutting of a hand of a thief? We told him that, the punishment of cutting of hands was first made into law in the Christian Bible, Deuteronomy,25:11-12 states that, "When men fight with one another, and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who is beating him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the private parts, then, you shall cut off her hand, your eye shall have no pity" The fourth Questioner was Mr James Chinedu from Abia state, he simply asked "What is the difference between ALLAH and Jesus? He was given just one quotation from his Bible, in response to his Question. "This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent"-John,17:3. Al-hamduli-lahi, after a lot of constructive argument which lasted for about forty-five minutes, Mr James eventually accepted ISLAM, he took Kalimatu-Sha'adah and instantly became Brother Abdullahi. Allahu-Akbar! Allahu-Akbar! The fifth Questioner was Sister Deborah Peace from Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); With a powerful enthusiasm, She came up on stage, with a view to establishing "why Islam can not give us Salvation" Deborah, like other Christians, believed so much in the Bible, as a complete word of God. But, as a matter of fact, she was disappointed when she was made to read some verses in the Bible, where God-Almighty is reported to have REGRETTED taking some actions. "...the Lord REGRETTED (was sorry) that he made Man on the Earth, and it grieved Him to His heart..."-Genesis,6:6 (Amplified Bible) "...I REGRETTED (repented) that I have made Saul a King...-1Samuel,15:11 (Amplified Bible) What a calculated INSULT on the majesty of God. However, Sister Deborah became more psychologically perturbed and confused when another version of the Bible was shown to her where God is reported to have REPENTED like a human-being. This is highly derogatory! " Deborah was made to see lots of discrepancies and variations among various versions of the Bible. Hmmm, the Bible is massively marred with expungings, contradictions, manipulations, fallacies, absurdities etc. For example; 1st Samuel 13:1 was highly contradictory in all versions of the Bible, whereas, it has been totally removed or unceremoniously expunged from the Good News Bible. When Sister Deborah could no longer withstand the truth dawning on her, she openly confessed in her native language. "Iwe (Bibeli) ko le tobi to bayii ko ma ni asise (mistake) ninu" meaning “A Book cannot be as voluminous as the Bible without mistakes or errors” Initially, she thought the errors in the Bible are typographical or publishers' errors, but, she became totally confused and flabbergasted when the preface of Revised Standard Version was read to her. It states that: "...Yet, the King James Version has GRAVE DEFECTS. By the middle of the nineteeth century, the development of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these DEFECTS ARE SO MANY AND SO SERIOUS as to call for revision of the English translation..." Allahu-Akbar, what a great revelation from the preface of the Bible. This is a bitter Truth. Other Christians that came up on stage to assist Deborah ended up perplexed, confused and dumbfounded. In fact, one of them, in a bid to justify the variations in the Bible, openly confessed that, "the Bible is just like any Dictonary now". Haaaaa! This is serious, this is revealing, a big blow to the Christian world! Sister Deborah angrily left the stage with this aggressive remark, "Mr Adepoju, I'm too small to dialogue with you, people, like "Redeem" Pastor etc are supposed to debate with you, not me. My fellow Christians, this is a big challenge for us, it high time we researched into Islam and Qur'an, you can see that these Muslims are well versed, intellectually equipped and stuffed, and have depth knowledge of the Bible and Christianity" The Lecture came to an end with a closing remark and suspending prayer from Amir Qomorudeen Ajala & Professor Buniyamin Alalaye respectively. Both from Lagos state. Meanwhile, as we were about leaving the venue, one of the policemen attached to us, just informed us of his willingness to embrace Islam, since the beginning of the 2-Day Lectures, he has been very attentive. However, behind the scenes, he was made to pronounce the Kalimatu-Shahadah. And, he chose the name, MUHAMMAD for himself. Brothers and Sisters in Islam, this report will not be complete without informing you, what eventually happened to Sister Deborah Peace. On December 3rd, 2013 which was three days after the Akure Lectures, three of our members paid a courtesy visit to Sister Deborah. In short, after about three-hour intensive discussion with her, this brillant, young lady finally decided to embrace Islam. She was made to pronounce the Kalimatu-Sha'adah immediately, and she became Hikmat. Allahu-Akbar, Allahu-Akbar! Funny enough, that same hour, that Deborah-Hikmat was converting to Islam, a 40 year old woman, who hails from Auchi in Edo state was also taking the Kalimatu-Sha'adah from us at Bye-Pass area of Akure. What a good coincidence! The sister is now Ameenah. Ameenah became convinced of the truth of Islam after attending the 2-Day Lectures, when she got home, she contacted one of ACADIP Members, close to her residence, and to Allah be the Glory, she is now a Muslim ! Why did Deborah become a Muslim? In shaa Allah, we shall endeavour to inform the public, those major reasons behind her conversion to Islam in our vcd titled "THE RELIGION OF THE WISE" It will be available in January 2014, in shaa Allah. To Allah be the Glory, as at yesterday, the number of Converts & Reverts at the recent Lectures has increased to Nine. Meanwhile, all these new converts at Akure for Islam (phase 7), including Miss Deborah-Hikmat would feature live at our next Open-Air Comparative Lecture which is scheduled as follows: DATE: 17th & 18th January, 2014 VENUE: Swamp street, by Odunfa Junction, in front of Olorunshogo Mosque, adjacent Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island. Lagos. TIME: 10pm till Dawn Daily. SPEAKERS: Yusuf Adepoju & Others. THEME: The Concept of GOD in Christianity & Islam: COURTESY of Alubarika Mosque Ummah & ACADIP NIGERIA. Till we meet in Lagos by January-17th, my lovely Brothers & Sisters in Islam, As-salaam Alykum Waramontullahi Wabarakat.
This is not a political conference of Political Parties but a conference to discuss and navigate the future of Nigerians by Nigerians. The outcome of such a conference should never be underestimated or be seen by any political party as a strategy to hold on to power. Anybody that accept that the proposed conference is mere diversionary and a waste of time is not being honest and lacks the intelligence to tap in to the numerous opportunities that will be available after such dialogue. What is politics without the voice of the masses being respected. What is the essence of having political parties who do not even know what the masses are yearning for. The National Conference that is being proposed by this administration have provided a great avenue to have an idea what Niigerians are expecting from them and in the long run establish an unbreakable bond of friendship and trust between them and the masses. The voice of the masses are thesame. From the East to West, North to South , the masses are singing thesame song. Who says that the masses in the Northern part do not want to be involved in a National dialogue. In these regard, I must say that we must make a clear distinction between the Northern elites and the Northern masses. The opposition to the conference from this region comes only from the oligarch and NOT from the masses who are afraid to forfeit the political and economic powers they have attained over the years using thesame masses as tools for their selfish interest. If there are oppositions to the conference from the West, East and South, thesame reason as stated above is attributable. I am not a fan of PDP, APC or any other Party but someone with a lot of interest in the development of Nigeria as a whole. I believe the oppostion Parties have a lot to gain especially APC being the biggest opposition as at the moment if they for once look at the other side of the coin. No? Power lies with the people but most are not aware of it. Make them know these fact. If only the opposition Parties are critical and logical and above politics, the masses will look up to them.
we are Nigerians we know their anticident, I am suprise you are putting much trust on the people that will always let you down, prove to me that "Oputa panel" and several others were not waste of time, then I will be on this page with you on this. |
Every business has its own challenges as a business grow you Identify its strength and weakness and make appropriate correction, I believe you can help jumia improve on their services if you compile the lapses you observed and forward it to them. |
atlwireles: Pretenders never change. Now they don't want a conference but a constitutional amendment. Give them a constitutional amendment, they will throw up another name. You read but not comprehend of what use is a conference which outcome is subject to ratification of selfish minority in power? Ps: no offense intended. |

Kairoseki77: These poor men are always standing on their heads or leaning their heads on rocks. The officers think it's tradition or something. This is not training but punishment. but wait o, what I used to hear was that it's only monsters that walk or stand on their heads abi soldiers na monsters in human skin? |
Mentioning the date, identity of the officers , police station and other details would have been right. This may help in tracking the evil doers should any relevant body want to take up the case. Some policemen are beast and they will surely meet their waterloo because what you sow is what you reap and no sinner will go un-punish. |
