Family / Re: Am In A Dilemma by Savvywriteprene(f): 10:33pm On Apr 05, 2020
Sorry about that, OP. You should go run urine and swab tests with her in a lab to determine the type of STI and then you treat yourself. She can't take antibiotics because of the baby.

Then you guys sot down and talk. There is already a breach of trust, you guys need to iron things out.

I know you're hurt and angry, but please handle this situation in an amicable way.
Family / Re: In Marriage - Friendship Or Love by Savvywriteprene(f): 9:11pm On Apr 04, 2020
OP, this might sound weird and strange but trust me, it works. Starting from when next you see or talk with her, tell her everyday, " Baby, I love you so much, and I'm so attracted to you, your body is so sexy. You're the best thing that has happened to me". Repeat it every single day whenever you see her, via whatsapp, SMS. EVERYDAY, even if it sounds heavy and weird in your mouth. Do this for 4 weeks and re-evaluate how you feel about the love and attraction.

I once dated someone who wasn't my spec at all but he won me over with how nice and attentive he was. I liked how nice he was to me but wasn't proud to seen with him. I had to do something about it. I already knew how powerful words are so I started telling him how handsome he was and how much I loved him ( I didn't feel an iota of love at this point) but I kept saying it to him. He enjoyed hearing it because he will always smile. From there I started noticing that he had a nice smile,
small kissable lips, small dimples that appear when he laughs, cute tiny eyes that crinkles when he laughs, the richness of his laugh etc. I started noticing little details about him that I liked, from there my heart started opening towards him, before you know it, I started liking him more and more, wanting to spend more time with him, before long I fell in love with him. That relationship went on for years before he cheated on me with his ex. If he didn't cheat, we would still been together.

You said she gives you peace and ticks all the other boxes. Do this so you can realize that you actually love her then you guys can get married.

PS- If after 4 weeks you still don't love her or feel attracted to her, please, let her go.

Family / Re: My Ex Collected Money From Me To Celebrate Her Hubby's Birthday by Savvywriteprene(f): 7:33pm On Apr 04, 2020
You did no wrong helping her out financially. I'm sure you would want to be helped when you need help. You guys are friends, I believe that's why she was confident enough to ask you for assistance.

Her husband's birthday was very important to her, I'm sure that's why she used some or all of the money you gave her to celebrate it.

Sincerely, it's really not your business what she did with the money.

You have given, you will definitely be blessed for doing so. Now, face your front and mind your business.

I really do not understand young men of these days. You were simultaneously sleeping with two ladies without protection. Wow! Welcome to reality, OP.

One thing I will tell you is to take responsibility for your actions. The deed is done, ensure the safety and well-being of the mothers of your children, and when your kids are born, play your fatherly role. That's the right thing to do.

Do not run away, do not abscond from your responsibilities. You might think it's the right thing to do, and some people here are advising you to challenge her parents or deny your responsibility. Do not listen to them. You will always reap what you sow.

Be wise!

Romance / Re: I'm 36years ,my Fiance Is 24years,please Is It Advisable For Us To Get Married? by Savvywriteprene(f): 6:50pm On Apr 04, 2020
Age is just number, sometimes.

What you should be sure about before tying the knot is the financial, emotional, spiritual, mental, health, sexual compatibility between the both of you.

If she ticks at least 75% of your boxes, then by all means go ahead and get married.

P.S- Please, I beg you, don't get married on the foundation of lies. Make honesty, straightforwardness your watchword. Tell her the truth about your age, don't make her lose trust in you, it will be difficult to get it back.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend's Vagina Smells. Help! by Savvywriteprene(f): 6:25pm On Apr 04, 2020
How you can say you like your girlfriend yet you want to break up with her because of something she probably doesn't know of baffles me. Where then is the love and likeness you feel for her? Love is patient, kind and compassionate.

Based on the foul smell you described, it could be BV(Bacteria Vaginosis) which can be easily be treated with Metronidazole(Flagyl) 500mg for 5-7 days. But I would advice you take to a lab for HVS(High vagina swab) test so she can get accurate diagnosis.

You should talk to her in person instead of on whatsapp. Gently tell her that you love her and want what's best for her, that you observed an unpleasant odour during sex, and would like for you guys to check it out in a lab. She would feel embarrassed, uncomfortable and might even argue but please be gentle and persistent.

She would appreciate you more, and you would have earned her trust and affection.

You never know until you try, so give it a shot.

She might also like you but waiting for you to make a move.

Make the move, and if she says no, life goes on. You guys can still remain strictly platonic friends.

Romance / Re: What Could Really Keep A Lady Single At 35+? by Savvywriteprene(f): 4:15pm On Apr 03, 2020
I hope you do realise that most ladies who do want to get desire to get married before turning 30. Most ladies plan their lives in their teenage years but then life happens.

What should the lady do? Wallow in self-pity? Become desperate?
None of the above. You accept it as part of the process of life, square your chin up, and keep living.

I believe that everything good will always come, it's just a matter of time.

Hi, guys. I just registered and passed the test. Pls I need recommendations on a very good earphone and would appreciate any tips from more experienced members in the house.

Congrats on passing the test. If you're talking about Qa-world then I don't think you need a special earphone. I use the regular Infinix earpiece and it works just fine unless you want to spend from 10k up for noise cancellation earphone.

Just buy a normal earpiece and start work.

Ive registered and listened but failed once. I'm on the second trial but scared of failing again. There are words I couldn't decipher so I'm hanging on to seek help. Why did I fail the tests? I tried listening well but a few words aren't clear. What else can I do?

I am a newbie like you and have been advised to stick to clear calls for now and pick more complex calls as I get better at it.

There are easy and clear to hear calls. Stick with those and release the difficult calls.

Also, check the glossary too. Some of the keywords in the call can be found there. You can also ask questions in the #querydesk section on Slack.

You can leave the unclear words and just continue transcribing at first. Then when editing before submitting, listen again. The words might become clearer then.

These are the things I have learned so far, I hope they help you too.

From the introduction, you should be able to differentiate between rep and customer.

Okay. Thank you.

The reps mostly introduce their selves so you should get the idea there. Either that or you take note of how the conversation is going. Take it from a fellow newbie, trust me, you'll get so much better at this.

Okay. Thank you for the tips and encouragement. God bless you.

As for the errors in grammar, I'll say that you should always make any necessary correction to ensure that your work is readable and understandable. Personally, I edit about two times before submission, which gives me a better understanding of the call and also helps see more errors.

Please, I sent you a mail. I don't know if you got it.

Your biggest error here is inverted speaker. It doesn't matter what you do or how well you do it, inverted speaker mistake will cost you everything. Learn to identify who's the customer and who's the rep. Then you can read an ebook or two on punctuations. And it'll do you a lot of good if you read and understand the FAQs. That's my two cents, I hope it helps.

Thank you. I appreciate. I have and still reading the FAQ. Really want to improve.

Is there a way to know who is rep or customer. I will be so sure the voice I hear is that of the rep or customer, by the time the transcript is rated I will see 1 and the reason will be inverted speaker.

Scan results read +/- 2 weeks so in this case it can give you 6 weeks and not the 4 weeks you are calculating.

Please OP, listen to this. Scan results are not exact, it is always plus or minus a few days or weeks.

Don't make a mistake by accusing of something she MAY be innocent of.

If you can meet a gynaecologist to interpret the scan results for you. I repeat a gynaecologist not a general practitioner.

Lol. Friendships don’t last. Male or female. You base your decisions on friends then you are not ready for a serious commitment. Like him, you shouldn’t get into such relationships in the first place. Even if you didn’t know. Once you are aware then you call it quits immediately. Not pretend to the girl and come on NL forming most valuable when she would rather not deal with such immaturity. You are immature.

Let me tell you! Many men have married their so called best friends ex! When you see a girl that you want, that you truly love, all these petty and what will the world say trash will not matter.

Thank you!
When you truly love someone, their past or mistakes wouldn't matter to you.
Oga, if you love this woman, then proceed with your plans with her and turn dear ears to whatever is been said about her.

Family / Re: Should Money Replace Love In Marriage Or In A Family?? by Savvywriteprene(f): 5:40pm On Oct 14, 2019
I believe that there is no need for such comparison about money and love as they both play important roles in marriage.
Love is very important in marriage, money is also important in marriage. How will a man take care of his family without money; how will a marriage thrive without love.

What I perceive to be an issue with the present generation is the belief that a man must be very comfortable before marriage and I think this stems from the fact that many men don't stay loyal to the women who stood by them in their days of little beginning.
Also, many of the women of this generation are so money conscious that they don't take a man serious if he doesn't have much going on for him financially.

In conclusion, money is important, love is important too.
Young men, marry a woman who believes in you and your dreams; stay true to her when things begin to fall into place for you.
Young women, marry a man with dreams( realistic dreams), encourage and stand by him. Don't be carried away by big cars and material possessions. There are always better days ahead.

Exactly my thought too. She doesn't trust you with a maid.
You can go an elderly live-in househelp or one that comes in the morning and leaves in the evening.
