all bunch of criminals how will a criminal intervene in another criminal's matter when he/they himself/themselves is/are criminal/criminals? |
adewumiopeyemi:You hope she won't disgrace Nigeria or you should hope Nigeria does not disgrace her and make her regret representing Nigeria? |
oweniwe:And sending kids to school with empty stomachs itself has a lot of disadvantages if the child normally eats around 8:00am at home and maybe they are being feed in schools let's say around 10:30am or 11:00am in schools, if the child can't bear the hunger anymore can't that turn the child to stealing from his/her colleagues? what if the child doesn't even eat what the school cooks? if the foods are not cooked in an hygienic conditions can't it leads to food poisoning? it would be better if the money is channelled to other meaningful things |
it's a clear thing now that our prison is not ment for the rich or powerful people it is only ment for the poor because our laws and the people that are custodian of the laws are bad and ill reformed. that is why there will always be corruption in Nigeria because they always know that even if they are caught they are going no where. where is Saraki, Obasanjo, Atiku, IBB and co. today? they are still the ones controlling Nigeria and is that supposed to be so? |
All of them are thieves and are guilty but they have to put the blame on someone, someone would definitely have to take the fall. that is why when people are calling Buhari baba goslow I never blamed him although he himself might be corrupt to some extend, but he definitely did not trust anybody because all those we see as saint are proven or suspected as thieves in the likes of Buratai, Dogara, Danbazzau and co. |
This feeding of a thing is not needed, it's just a waste of money, no parent will send his/her child to school without feeding or giving him/her money to feed, the government should rather renovate dilapidated schools, buy necessary materials/equipments so as to make the learning environment easy, conducive and friendly. |
soberdrunk:Lol so you mean her....... is depreciating like our Naira? |

politicians and dirty games what i just know is that many people shouting here on Nairaland are not even from Edo state talk less of saying whether they are eligible to vote that was how people rant about Imo election and at the end APC still carries the day |

The president should find a lasting solution to this issue of militant bombings here and there this is causing a major setback for Nigeria as a whole and other countries that depends on her oil |
I think its better as they didn't show up so as to allow peace to rain, prevent stories that touch and also to prevent stamped |
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has expressed optimism that skirmishes in state chapters of the party will end soon. Odigie-Oyegun said this in an interview with The PUNCH in Abuja on Tuesday. As of the last count, there were crisis in the APC in Kano, Bayelsa and Kogi states. The national chairman stated, “We are attending to each and every one of them. In virtually every case, we are making progress. “Take the case of Bayelsa State for example, we should conclude the matter within a few weeks. That of Kano is basically a personality thing and we’ve got those involved to come together and allow peace to reign in the interest of the party and the nation. “And we are also attending to the issues in Kogi State. You will agree with me that some of these issues are as a result of the fact that we are the party in power; if we are in the opposition, there probably won’t be these skirmishes.” He explained that some of those involved in the skirmishes were those who were still struggling for relative importance in order to position themselves for positions in the future. Odigie-Oyegun added the APC had developed a mechanism of democratic consultation and reconciliation, saying these had been working for the party. On the ongoing trial of the Senate President Bukola Saraki, the APC national chairman said Saraki was a member of the party even though the party showed a preference for another person as the President of the Senate. He, however, said what the APC had found difficult to come to terms with was the emergence of an opposition senator, Ike Ekweremadu, as the Deputy President of the Senate. www.punchng.com/apc-resolving-crisis-in-states/ |
They thought that the bullet hit me but fortunately it did not but I pretended that I was dead. Hmmmmmm that is to tell us that this man get odieshi |
MasterofdRolls1:I know but there are some states that are more worse I stand to be corrected tho |
the issue of paying monthly salaries has been a problem for many states and this has led to suffering among workers and it is telling on the masses as well because it is when workers are paid that they will think of buying or carrying out any other things. kudos to this man for putting his workers in mind there are still some states far lacking behind |
May the Almighty help you |
they wanted to rope this man sha so that they can creat hatred between him and Mr. president and I like the man he quickly issued a statement that he never said such. this our media self they can lie at times ehn, same goes with our politicians. |
VenusBetty:as true as it may sound, but do you think that there are other party out their that can keep the current government on her toes? most of those parties only function when election comes |
dyn1800:but we need a party that will criticize the current government just like APC did that's what i am saying |
Well campaign has started gradually and each party will be coming up with different strategies so as to carry the day. I pray the better side wins |
This is not the kind of opposition we want, we want an opposition that will criticize and force the rulling party to do what's best for Nigerians but it seems PDP is not qualified for such. |
That is to tell you that the girl is after your pocket |

The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has warned a former chairman of the party, Modu Sheriff, to steer clear of the activities of the party in the state ahead of the September 10 governorship election. The embattled former national chairman had on Tuesday declared the June 20 governorship primary election of the PDP as illegal. Sheriff also announced a new date for a fresh congress for the party. But the state Chairman of the PDP, Chief Dan Orbih, told journalists in Benin that the Edo chapter had no business in the crisis at the national level of the party. Orbih described the primary, where Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu emerged as the party’s candidate, as successful and devoid of rancour. The PDP chieftain noted that Edo did not need an “external investor” and would not tolerate any form of “northern irredentism”. ”In the interest of our people and our party, he (Sheriff) should not allow whatever differences he has with Abuja to come to Edo State. We are determined, right here in Edo State, to go by the law,” he said. Orbih added, “Let us not mix the Abuja politics with Edo State politics. I am advising his group to stay away from what we are doing here because we are at peace with ourselves, and we are satisfied with the efforts that we are putting in place to ensure that Edo State is rescued from the hands of external investors. “We will not tolerate Sheriff playing the role of an external investor. Edo State belongs to Edo people, and we will not, in any form, tolerate those who want to perpetrate northern political irredentism,” he said. Meanwhile, the Edo State Government has raised an alarm over the alleged plan by the PDP to recruit thugs from boundary communities in Delta State to disrupt the September 10 governorship election. The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Kassim Afegbua, in a statement on Wednesday, alleged that the opposition, in connivance with the Delta State Government, had mapped out plans to recruit the thugs, who would pose as eligible voters during the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise. According to the statement, no fewer than 40 political thugs had been allegedly deployed to the border communities with the intention to register them as voters to enable them to unleash violence during the election. The Edo State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Chris Nehikhare, debunked the allegations. www.punchng.com/edo-pdp-warns-sheriff-interference-poll/ |
