What is more shameful, to be a boy-boy (still according to you) and to be a nobody (according to the present political reality)?
One day, boy-boy go become master, but a nobody can never be anybody.
thats like saying which is better to suk dik or not to suk dik.

obviously being a nobdody- not suking dik is better, than to be known as a boy boy- dik sucker

We are talking about now, not 2015. Enjoy being in the opposition for at least 4 years. Who would have thought that the Ndigbo would be in such a position. We made both Goodluck and Obasanjo look very stupi-d. Now we can all laugh.
lol

i thought gej was ur guy? no? u confused lttle fuk. today GEJ is your guy tomorrow he isnt people from SE are very confused.

we will enjoy opposition for the next 4 years even more sef who cares, you should also enjoy not having president from the SE for the next 12 or more yrs- one the main reason SE stayed in pdp waiting for it to be "zoned" to them. lol

Adejoro74:
The North will probably win and rule both SE and SW? So what is in it of you? Actually after GEJ, I expect that the North will rule. So no surprises.
lol the satisfaction of knowing SE will be boy boy again come 2015 n beyond.

EzeUche!:
Just because the SW politicians squandered their opportunity of making a difference in their region, when they were in the center, does not mean other regions' politicians will do the same. Some regions were developed, because their politicians had power in the center. Look at the level of infrastructure that could be found within the North. Nigeria is controlled by the center, not by its regions.
"good" roads= good infrastructure lol ur dumb as helll

“owambe crowd” , a Yoruba word that means “we have it, so we can flaunt it”- LIE!

I hate to read articles where the journalist PUSHES hard to try and invoke some type of sentiment in readers by stating things that are false.

since when did Owambe (you are there/here) mean “we have it, so we can flaunt it”? i mean really?

GNU: ACN Denies Making U-Turn

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has denied a report published in some national dailies that it had made a U-turn and decided to join the Government of National Unity (GNU) being planned by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The party, in a release signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, stated: ‘’We hereby state, for the umpteenth time, that we will not participate in any GNU.

‘’Reports that we have embraced the GNU and adopted a ‘guarded participation policy’ amount to sheer fallacy, and should be treated as such by all our members and supporters,’’ it said.

The party said it was curious to conclude that by participating in a meeting convened by President Jonathan in Abuja, the ACN has automatically reneged on its earlier decision not to join the GNU.

‘’Indeed, we were represented at that meeting by a powerful delegation led by our chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, simply because it will amount to sheer arrogance to shun a meeting convened by the president to discuss nothing more than the issue of Nigeria, in which we are all stakeholders.

‘’However, when we received the letter of invitation, we immediately wrote back to the presidency, asking to be intimated with the agenda of the meeting.

When no response was forthcoming, we went to the meeting with a letter in which we reiterated our decision not to participate in any GNU, for the simple reason that a unity government in peace time can only stifle democracy and facilitate the emergence of a one-party state, which will in turn breed unbridled corruption.

Govt of National Unity: ACN reaffirms stand

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has denied a report published by a section of the media on Friday that it had made a U-turn and decided to join the Government of National Unity (GNU) being planned by President Goodluck Jonathan.
‘’We hereby state, for the umpteenth time, that we will not participate in any GNU,’’ the party said in statement issued in Accra on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

‘’Reports that we have embraced the GNU and adopted a ‘guarded participation policy’ amount to sheer fallacy, and should be treated as such by all our members and supporters,’’ it said.
The party said it is a curious stretch to conclude that by participating in a meeting convened by President Jonathan in Abuja, the ACN has automatically reneged on its earlier decision not to join the GNU.
‘’Indeed, we were represented at that meeting by a powerful delegation led by our Chairman. Chief Bisi Akande, simply because it will amount to sheer arrogance to shun a meeting convened by the President to discuss nothing more than the issue of Nigeria, in which we are all stakeholders.
‘’However, when we received the letter of invitation, we immediately wrote back to the presidency asking to be intimated with the agenda of the meeting. When no response was forthcoming, we went to the meeting with a letter in which we reiterated our decision not to participate in any GNU, for the simple reason that a unity government in peace time can only stifle democracy and facilitate the emergence of a one-party state, which will in turn breed unbridled corruption.
‘’We also used the letter to convey our agenda to the President, which includes robust democratic reforms, fiscal federalism, security, especially the issue of community policing, and the fight against corruption. We also used the meeting to reiterate these issues as well as our decision not to be a party to any GNU. How this translates to making a U-turn beats our imagination,’’ ACN said.
The party repeated its earlier warning that any of its members who decides to join the GNU does so in his personal capacity and automatically ceases to be a member of the ACN.
ACN said it is satisfied with its role as the leading opposition party in the country, and would continue to play that role and meet the yearnings of all democracy-loving Nigerians. It said, however, that it will practise - as always - responsible opposition, which is not the same as hostility to the Federal Government.
‘’We are a government-in-waiting, and we know Nigerians see us as such and also expect much from our party in deepening democracy and ensuring better life for our long-suffering people.
We will not sacrifice that responsibility on the altar of short-term political gains,’’ the party said.

fashola becoming president is not life or death, its nigerias loss just like Awo losing. so doesnt matter

when have nigerians voted for credible candidates with REAL track records? NEVER lol

I dont see fashola being president in 2015 nor an ibo as president.

i see a northerner- sambo status quo with ibo as vice, ACN still in the opposition n still progressing.
