The country has been a joke since it was created as a joke by the British. These ones are complaining because the loot isn't reaching them. The same judiciary that the executive has pocketed. Downline, Justice is for the highest bidder. These judges were there when they were given a Sharia man to lead them yet complained not. What did they expect? I really pity honest judges in this country. Until we become a country with sense, institutions will not function. Vote Peter Obi for president. It's a simple solution. |
This generation will make Nigeria work. Was discussing with a lady who is supporting Atiku Abubakar. Told her Atiku should be out of the game. This contest should be between the best (PO) and the worst (BAT) candidates. The consensus we all should reach is either vote Peter Obi for Nigeria to work or vote Tinubu to finish Nigeria patapata. Atiku no suppose follow. |
wiseoneking:You know what? I just checked the 2015 and 2019 general elections and was surprised by what I saw. Both Edo and Taraba voted for the better candidate on both occasions, just like SE and SS. That means that these two states have a lot of logical people and not swayed by herd mentality. I'm really impressed and positive that Obi will win both states. On the flip side, it could mean that Obi has more work to do to bring aboard those states that traditionally vote the worse presidential candidates. |
wiseoneking:I'm a bit skeptical about the bolded. I saw many educated Yoruba root for Buhari, so I seriously doubt they are serious about genuine working Nigeria. |
Cromagnon:Why? |
Godjone:He's an Afonja. They never want anything good for Nigeria, just their selfish selves. |
whatisthetruth:Does it mean that the average African doesn't know what it means to live a decent life like other races? Or are the masses bewitched? Or is it a lack of political awareness or a lack of what our right is? Perhaps these supported are part-beneficiaries of the theft. I mean, the politicians 'settle' them, which means that there is theft in most people, even among the masses. Otherwise, why are we not seeing the French-like 18th Century or Russian-like 20th Century revolution in Africa despite being among the poorest people on earth? |
In this country today, virtually every state has been governed by a thief, at least one. That is, if we define theft as taking what doesn't belong to you by any means. One question I've been asking myself is, are these thieves in power true representative of what Nigerians are? Trillions of dollars stolen since Independence, yet we hypocritically pretend that we do not know the reason for the backwardness and underdevelopment of the country. What is happening before us is not different from the transatlantic slave trade. The only difference is that 200 years ago, foreigners stole Africa's wealth by taking away her able-bodied youths. Today, Africans are impoverishing Africans by stealing away her wealth. Are we condemned to remain at the bottom of the humanity ladder or will something give way? They're already positioned another set to continue the drainage... This is why I support Peter Obi presidency. Enough is enough of having thieves in power. A lot depends on this! Vote wisely Vote Peter Obi for president Say no to looting parties Nigeria must be free from this mental and physical bondage Africa too |
Manson1:Just my observation. Some states are ahead of others in the sensitization drive for the movement. APC and PDP are bribing news media to project lies that Obi has no structure but we know better. It's the same media calling fulani ethnic cleansing Farmer-herder clashes. |
No one would have believed that the day would come when people would mobilize for a Nigerian politician organically all across the country because they see him with the eyes of hope, not out of desperation. We are witnessing millions doing this for the quest for Peter Obi presidency. What has struck me is the way Edo seems to be the most vocal supporters for Obi. I've been wondering since today if Edo is actually the most Obified state. |
They've been really vocal about their support. Is Edo really the most Obified state? |
Bobo Chicago |
Tinubu always last, why? |
With the massive following, nearly everyone is sure that the Obi tsunami would be unstoppable by Q1 of 2023, but we must reckon with how crooked PDP and APC are. This is what one Tinubu supporter said: When you wake up from your dream, meet us at the polling booths and at the rigging room. Now knowing that Tinubu is a rigging machine from what we saw in 2019 and even what happened in Kano and Lagos in 2015, what chances does Obi have in forestalling being rigged out? This is especially of concern knowing that he won't support bribery. Can the APC and PDP rigging machines outsmart us or would our numbers be so overwhelming that they'd be at loss how to go about it? This takes cognizance that decency and competence do not win elections in Nigeria. Rigging mostly does. |
Ika is suddenly Igbo because it's election time. Like Ika, like Ikwerre. After election, they start claiming Bini. We Igbo know una tricks. We recognize all other Igbos in the SS and Middlebelt except Ika and Ikwerre. You cannot deny us when you want to align with Nigeria against Igbo, and remember you're Igbo during election. Ika and Ikwerre are Bini, not Igbo We are Obified PO for president, 2023 |
chrisxxx:You either don't know what you're saying or you're being economical with truth. Has an Ibibio claimed Igbo? Ibibio, Efik and Annag share same heritage with Igbos but can never claim Igboness. Deceitful Ikwerre wish to eat their cakes and have it. To escape marginalization meted against Igbo, they deny being Igbo but when it's time to get votes they suddenly have Igboness. You that understand English as an Englishman, please interpret to me what Chibuike Amaechi meant here: " My birth names are Igbo names, Chibuike Amaechi. I am an Igboman. Let no one deny me my Igbo heritage, birthright, ancestry, please. I have made myself clear repeatedly, that I, Chibuike Amaechi, from Ikwerre, I am an Igbo man. Our people are Igbo" You're people are suddenly morphed to Igbos because of election. Abeg Vote Peter Obi The best man for the job. Being Igbo is only a plus. |
chrisxxx:So smart, why is this an issue now? The same ikwerre that NEVER wished to identify with Igbo are now claiming, there is Igboness in them. I hear you. Anyway, we know una tricks. Una and Ika. The Igbos we recognize in the SS are all others from Bonny, Opobo to those in Benue/Kogi. Ikwerre are not Igbo. They have no Igboness abeg. The way we support PO is the way we will support any other Igbo from these area, not Ikwerre. Even Afonja mock Igbos because of Ikwerre so let it be settled once and for all. Ikwerre are not Igbo and have no Igboness. Peter Obi 2023 |
chrisxxx:Go watch Amaechis latest interview with Channels TV. He clearly said, "Abaibe cannot deny me my Igbo heritage" We understand the tricks. |
Crixxx:Even rats. The man no get work |
WesternOligarch:Say something reasonable |
limeta:The best suggestion so far. That would be a bingo. PO 2022 |
You're on your own. We are Obified. The days when Ikwerre and Ika would deceive Ndigbo with dual identity has gone. No one who deny their Igboness to curry favor from the Nigerian state would get Igbo votes. Ika people are Ika. Ikwerre people are Ikwerre. They should stop remembering they're Igbo when they need our vote abeg. Obi 2023 |
SoaringLife01:They all remember their Igboness when they need vote from Ndigbo. When they want to avoid traditional Nigerian state hatred for Ndigbo and marginalization, they claim their Igbo clans of Ikwerre and Ika. Then Ifeanyi and Amaechi would no longer be Igbo names. |
Why won't it fade off? Will an Igbo man like Obi, Amaechi, Okowa or Ogbonnaya Onu be there and Igbo or former eastern Nigeria is marginalized? Ndigbo just saw in Obi, and the coming election, an opportunity to build a working country based on equity. You cannot tell a man from Calabar, Port Harcourt or Akwa Ibom that it is one Nigeria, yet you intentionally make sure that seaports in his locality must not work because you want to put Igbo at a disadvantage and you expect the Igbo not to agitate. If Obi wins, it's a win for Nigeria because it will enthrone merit instead of the mediocrity Nigeria has become known for for 50 years. The Biafrans have merely been silenced by the majority of people who see the possibility of a viable country with an Obi presidency. I doubt they'll be quieted if that venture fails and Nigeria enters another cycle of looting, cluelessness, and banditry as exemplified by PDP and APC. Obi is not just a movement. He is hope for a solid foundation for the future. If the thieving class is perpetuated, I weep not for what their incompetence has already done, but what would befall the country. ISWAP is there on one hand, Fulani militia on the other, bandits are there and then IPOB agitation. All these are consequences of ineptitude of a crooked ruling class that the two crooked parties represent. How would such a country survive. |
Blossommind:Are you Obified? Do you have PVC, Peter's Victory Card? |
My issue is the waste. Governor's shouldn't have the authority to waste public funds on personal interest. 50 million donation to the north would do a lot for Rivers people. |
AntiMahdi:You're very correct. That mynd44 has expertise in censoring ant APC posts. He's doing same for anti Tinubu posts now. But just post unsubstantiated anti Igbo or anti IPOB post and watch him quickly move it to the front page. |
Tinubu's urchins have a group where they announce posts to comment on and like. That was Buhari's strategy in 2015. They're hoping it would work for their druggie this time. |
Funny When will Nigerian Christians be wise? One wise pastor I've seen in this country is Oyedepo and a handful of others. Others na where Belle face |
First it was Amaechi, who used state money to finance APC presidential bid in 2015 Now Wike has spent billions while owing promotions to hunt elusive presidency. As if that's not enough, he's been donating hundreds of millions to the northerners. Something is wrong with southern politicians. Incidentally, it seems all the money they control makes every governor of the state to gun for presidency after their tenures. Peter Odili, Chibuike Amaechi and Wike. Only God knows how much of Rivers patrimony these men have wasted. Like Rivers, like most Nigeria states. This is why we must rise to extirpate this organized crime going on in this country in the guise of governance by making sure that we vote someone credible. That person is Peter Obi. Say no to thieving the political class. Are you not tired that in most states of this country, that thieves are effectively in power? The level of ongoing looting going on in this country and many other African countries is enough to make the devil shudder. If Europe had Africa's wealth, who knows, the whiteman may have made the moon habitable. |
DipWire:How is Okowa a traitor? |
