This has nothing to do with bad governance. This has everything to do with greed. Yeah, Igbo people are hardworking, but they put too much value on money. So, the lazy and greedy ones out of them will do anything to get fast money, to compete with the hardworking ones. Even if Nigeria becomes like USA, you will still see the igbo people that will be into crime for fast money.

I agree with you because you made a lot of sense. The average Igbo is a lover of money. He may even be greedy, but i maintain that many of these Nigerians that are into crime would have been better employed if the country is working. Even in US, there are many criminals.

Bad government! Are we the poorest country in Africa? We have at least 12 least developed countries in Africa with far more worse economy than ours but their citizens are not the top inmates in prisons worldwide unlike the self acclaimed developers.

Whites commit more crimes in the US but there are more blacks in US prisons than whites. Why? It's the system. When a system is rigged against a people as Nigeria is rigged against the Igbo and SS, that's part of the result you get. Crimes, agitations and more.

Not true. It has been proven severally that bad government and lack of opportunities is mostly responsible for crimes. Create opportunity for the people and see crimes reduce. After all, Igbo, Ibibio and Hausa are clearly among the most hardworking tribes in Nigeria.

Everything is so horribly wrong with ASUU that it is so disgraceful that such a body of folks who should be intellectuals are so intellectually inferior to the govt's team. ASUU so far lacked the right strategy and moral authority to take on govt. This is so so embarassing.

I am sure that within ASUU some members would have been complaining about their seemingly mediocre leadership and must have been protesting against the missteps of their leadership but they should not stop at that, they should elect new set of leaders who understand the seriousness of the responsibility upon ASUU members as intellectuals.

Urchin. Has NNPC been submitting its audit report? What happened to its unremitted revenue for years. Why are you all lovers of injustice?
