We all know how neither the military nor other security agencies intervene under such circumstances by would rather move up against the victims if they try to defend themselves or take up arms against the intruders.

Not just in the highways, byways and villages, but in everyday life.

It's hard not to blame the whiteman for the ills of Africa because African political space is designed to feed the whiteman's greed. To start with, why should Nigeria be a country? Why should the south and north be the same country? Peoples with divergent view of life? Why shouldn't Buhari be the president of the North while Jonathan, that of the SE/SS while Tinubu that of Yoruba people instead of the acrimonious 2015 election? Unless you understand the fundamental quandary of the African, you'll leave substance to pursue shadows. Those governors are merely exploiting a warped system because it is not a reflection of the people. Nigeria, like most African countries is designed not to work.

Don't blame the people OP. The system was put in place by the British when people were ignorant.
