Kai...NANS of these days are gutless. Who remembers when NANS was NANS? |
Obi is arguably the most loved politician in Nigerian history. Only two other politicians have generated as much love and goodwill like Obi. These are Aminu Kano and Muhammad Buhari, both of whom were loved by the Talakawa. Even though Kano was rigged out by the British who favored Ahmadu Bello, there is no doubt that he was the masses choice. However, it is difficult to quantify what impact he would have made to the progress and welfare of the masses of the north since he never got power. Buhari has been in power since 2015 and it is doubtful that the euphoria with which he was welcomed is still in the air. Perhaps, the masses of the north have realized that the sound that bitter kola makes when chewed is not how palatable it is. Peter Obi is loved all over the country. If he wins, would he be another disappointing leader? Since Independence, Nigeria has badly been in need of just one leader that would make a difference for all Nigerians. Someone in the mold of the Sankaras of BirkinaFaso. Is Obi the one or would he be demystified like Buhari? Anyway, one reason why I love Obi is his passion and seemingly genuine love for people. Listening to him, you're left in no doubt that he is a man with a vision. A quality rarely seen in today's politicians. Obi reminds you of passionate political leaders rarely seen in Africa. Why do you love Peter Obi? |

Would Nigeria also be free from the curse of APC by next year? Even the liberty of Osun would be limited if a calamity like APC isn't kicked out. Congratulations to governor Adeleke. He should know that much is expected from him. The people sincerely hope that his government would be a deviation from the suffering they have known with APC. Much is expected from him and may he not fail. |
It's all over for APC |
Who else is loving what the north is doing to Tinubu who sold out the south to the same north in 2015? |
Let me quickly participate for the first time |
Hmmmm... there's no strategy these people do not use. This is why Tinubu must never near Aso Rock. I remember an NDLEA guy once stopped me at screening at Kaduna airport just to scrutinize the bottle of water I was holding. The guy even made me drink from it. |
SensetionalGoal:I'm yet to see a demography that loves injustice more than these Yoruba Muslims. Not even northern muslims love injustice and hatered like they do. Didn't know others notice it. |
I can smell a scam from a mile off... You know what? Most of you fake affiliate marketing teachers are scammers with hoodie. People making money via affiliate marketing barely have time for the nonsense promotions i see on Nairaland. You're earning $1000 and yet hyping a 5k naira trainings? |
As 2023 is fast approaching, I decided to move into some very remote villages to sample opinions of rural dwellers. What I discovered may shock you. Unless the Obidient movement moves into the rural areas and hinterlands where all the people know are APC and PDP, it'll be a tough call for Obi. Most Nigerian rural dwellers actually are excited about elections. Not because they anticipate voting in their leaders but because it a season of free money for them. Guess how much they make from elections? I asked a few people and what they get from politicians range from 500 naira to 4000 naira. These are people with families who probably struggle to see 40-50,000 at once. So free money, even 4k is a big deal to them. Whether in the East, West, North or South, the story is the same. When PDP and APC talk about structure, that's exactly what they mean. They have people in the rural areas who are conduits for monetary inducement to sway the outcome of elections to their favour. So a politician could actually earmark 10 million for a LG in order to buy 20,000 votes with each voter getting a paltry 2000 naira while the party men and supporters share the balance. Talk about the power of money in the midst of poverty. Nearly every village has a party man. Some have 3 to 4 party men and women from different parties who work as sleeper members that are activated with raw cash when elections are imminent. One lady told me that she is not a party member but her friends invite her to join them when it's time to go and collect money. According to her, she sometimes collects from more than one party. Her husband also tries collecting from more than a party. She said that during the last election, she escorted her party member friend one early morning to collect money for distribution to the voters in the village. Interestingly, she said she is not keen on such again because of the sort of people and arms she saw at the place where they went to get the money. When I asked her how much her party member friend gave her for the risk? 2000 naira. Not even up the 4k the high rollers get. In these rural areas, the Labour party is barely known. This is where the Obidients have their jobs cut for them. The good news is that the election is coming after the end of the year holidays. So it is time to reach out to relatives in the rural areas and educate them on the need to end the election business as usual. I tried educating some of these people on the need to elect credible people and not just vote those that give them money. Imagine selling tomorrow for 2k. I don't really know if the urban dwellers and youths are enough to turn the tide in Obi's favour, but there are so much prospects of sweeping rural votes if the movement goes to the hinterlands. All these people need is voter education and some form of encouragement that with a leader like Obi, the country would actually make remarkable progress. I think all the Obi support groups should start mapping out all the rural communities for massive outreaches. It should be a strategy of telling someone to tell someone who would also tell someone about Obi and what his leadership portends for the country. In any case, even if Obi is already sure of winning, why not make sure he wins convincingly? Who says that with the rural population on board, that a landslide victory isn't possible for the Labour Party? Vote4Obi God1000 Eriokanmi 4teenblaq AcuraZDX |
Rhymeyjohn:Thank you dude. You're 100% correct. Unless the Obidient movement moves into the rural areas and hinterlands where all the people know are APC and PDP, it'll be a tough call for Obi. |
The Lagos rally shocked the Agbadorians to their marrows. It has dawned on them that if the people couldn't even come out to hear from the druggie's mouth that there's fire on the mountain. When you factor in the Obidient rally that brought all Lagos to a standstill, they're aware that unless something remarkable happens that Obi would win the state. |
onumadu:I agree with you. No sane Igbo man supports the bloodletting in the guise of exit from Nigeria. This is exactly why many of us never took Kanu seriously because the guy seemed to lack a roadmap. Even though we support protecting Igbo land from killers, allowing themselves to be manipulated into splinter groups at the neck of each other is at best obtuse. Perhaps Kanu's abduction is the reason which points to the fact that he and IPOB lack the tact to form a decentralized and still cohesive group. |
NJyoruba12:Nope, same Lagos in SW Nigeria. Not the one in Portugal. |
Money cannot buy love. In spite of Tinupoos looted funds, even Yorubaland isn't 50% sure for him. Obi has already won Lagos. |
Penguin2:Except Lagos. Obi will win Lagos. |
Tinupoo is down and out. Won't even win Lagos |
buckeyemedia:So you actually believe that Tinupoo's Mu-Mu ticket is a smart idea? |
Reserved for Kwankwanso's Lagos campaign... The taste of the pudding... |
Reserved for Atiku's |
Reserved for Obi Lagos campaign |
Empty seats and spaces everywhere in the stadium despite compulsory closure of markets. Why were urchins pretending they're not reading the handwriting on the wall? Why Are Urchins Pretending Tinubu's Lagos Campaign Flop Was A Success? Tinubu will surely lose Lagos. |
kingmaster2009:Haha... We have passed the level when we asked for sense from Nigerians. Vote Tinubu or Atiku. Happy now? |
Sai baba... Nigerians are foolish. So foolish that some are still dreaming of having Tinubu or Atillku as their president. Soon, not only aircrafts but airports and oil fields will be seized by foreign creditors. Mumu country with mumu people. |
meobizy:You know nothing. If voodoo doesn't exist, then satan doesn't exist. Then your politicians wouldn't be needing the heads. These are pacts that your politicians sign with satan for power. Signed with human blood. |
No reasonable person wants Tinubu to be president |
Hm... |
Funny |
blaquebelle:That says it all. No objective people are supporting the man |
Na question I ask... |
