If there was going to be a COR Region, a bill for it first had to be passed in the Eastern House of Assembly before coming to Lagos for deliberations. No such motion had even been moved yet before the first coup. The COR Region was still a mere proposal
So you people think that people like Nzeogwu, Ademoyega, Ifeajuna, Anuforo and others conducted a coup to prevent a COR Region that was yet to be voted on? Thats laughable
As for the restructuring of Nigeria, restructuring has not happened because the entire North does not want it. The current system benefits the North and they will never allow Nigeria to be restructured regardless of if Igbos are for restructuring or not
Some day, you guys are going realise why Igbos fought a war to get out Nigeria, that Nigeria is a feudal state controlled by the North

Don't worry. When Peter Obi becomes president, you won't even remember Oduduwa again because he'll fix Nigeria of all the ills and illusions of incompetent governments since independence. As you rightly said, only a competent Igbo like Peter Obi has been mandated by Nigerians to bring the country out of the rot of incompetence by thieving politicians that have ruled for long. Just be grateful that Obi is coming to aya the first real president of Nigeria giving back the country to its people. |

What if that's how God wants to hear the prayer of people like IPOB and Boko Haram and ISWAP? Tinubu already have a BH support, Atiku is a Fulani who would never condemn the tears and blood his kinsmen are causing all over the country, IPOB wants to exit Nigeria. What if we are just being short-sighted?
Every sane person understands the country's trajectory and that with the ongoing carnage and economic calamity, it is just a matter of time for implosion to take place. We also know that Peter Obi's presidency would restore sanity and give many hope again in Nigeria, but...
Is it really worth it? As in, is the country worth saving? As an Igbo man, I am sometimes torn between sympathy for my marginalized tribe and the need that we exit this calamity of a contraption and the need to make it a functional country. Nevertheless, the truth that stares us in the face today is that Obi presidency, as desirable as it is may just delay the inevitable. The country that the British bequeathed on us doesn't really seem to function. Neither can it be made functional because the key to its success is in the wrong hands.
If only we can see the future, we would sure be certain if what we need is another calamity in Atiku or Tinubu or a lifeline in Obi. Whatever... |

I realized that Peter Obi must be special when I read an interview on how he joined politics. I have learnt that the best politicians are not those that really planned to make politics a career.
So I came across this interview some years ago. Then I never knew Obi would even aspire for presidency. According to the interview, when APGA was hunting for a gubernatorial candidate, the party chieftains went to a prominent politician to either contest on the party's platform or give them advice. I don't really know ...
The man told the APGA chieftains that he would give them 3 names to pick from. According to the interviewee, "The first name is Peter Obi, the second is Peter Obi and the third is Peter Obi"
The rest they say is history. I couldn't help believing then that there is something the man must have seen in Peter Obi to recommend him in that manner.
You see, for Nigeria to ever become a functional country, this idea of commercial politics must end. As long as politics is financially enticing, it will always be seen as a shortcut to wealth for many a never-do-well. |
Politics › The Most Lesson We Have Learnt From Tinubu, The Master Tactician by ScamHunter(op): 6:29pm On Nov 04, 2022 |
If you flow trends in the Nigerian political space, you can easily fix missing puzzles in goings on. I have been wondering at the motive behind some of the activities of Bola Tinubu, especially against the south. What I have discovered is a that the man is simply following a pattern.
Tinubu is a traditional Yoruba Muslim that hos allegiance is to the Islamic caliphate with headquarters at Sokoto. This is why the man will NEVER condemn any crime or misdemeanor that the Fulani commit even in Yorubaland.
Did you not notice how he would rather Igbo be blamed for the killings in their land than mention Fulani? It is the same reason why he fought against Jonathan to make sure that hos Fulani master grabs power. That is the same reason why despite the ineptitude of the Buhari administration or even all the disgrace it meted out to him, he never once uttered a word of condemnation. Rather his army of urchins actively defended the gaffes of the administration to the point of supporting Ruga.
What we learnt from Tinubu is that the Yoruba muslim would defend and support every evil as long as the perpetuator is Fulani. What's rather amusing is that the christians in their midst mostly do not understand their game plan of furthering Islam at the detriment of all Yoruba people. That is why they too were deceived in 2015 by Tinubu's sai baba movement in Yorubaland.
What a modern day Afonja. |

Elemosho478: So much chest beating from a tribe that were colonized by ordinary Igala
You called British Ijebu war a short war but even the Ekumeku you chest beat heavily about was described as just a movement, what made the movement last so long was the guerilla and terrorist tactics that was adopted by Anioma people. Unlike the British - Ijebu war that was conventional one, Anioma didn't have the ball to confront the British in a conventional war, they just attacked unsuspecting British officers and run like cowards and terrorists. Just like Boko haram and ESN
What made you think it was so great lol? Do you even know what it feel like to manage an empire? The Igbo were too disorganized to have any empire. How big is Igbo land? Oyo state alone is bigger than all South East States and even with that small land Igala people still managed to conquered and colonized Igbo in Anambra, today Igala are still in Anambra.
Igbo are lucky Igala, Benin, and Yoruba shielded South East from Fulani Jihadists, if not the small land you are chest beating of today would have been taken over by Fulani and what we would have today would be Igbo/Fulani just like Hausa/Fulani. Hahahaha...who owns Ilorin? With your mumu reasoning, all Yoruba land will soon become emirates. Your inferior muslims will soon bring in your masters to complete what they started in Ilorin. |

candidtalk: Igbos make me laugh. Is Kemi Badenoch not a current Minister of State in the UK today? Did Yorubas start a thread claiming she is Oduduwan while looking to demean and aggravate other Nigerians?
Best things Nigeria can do is to let Igbos go. The suffering that will beset them in the hell they will make of Biafra will lead them to beg Nigeria for re-admittance after even 3 months.
Igbos are such disruptive and restive spirits. Never happy unless fighting others or causing division and the main reason is that they are megalomaniacs who believe they are automatically superior to others.
Tinubu is not autocratic like Buhari and OBJ. He will convene a referendum and let them go or at the very least grant them regional autonomy.
Personally I can't wait so Lagos population can return to a manageable level. I just hope Igbos know they will not have the option to stay in the land of others once they get Biafra. They will be hounded out everywhere and told to go home since they are no longer Nigerian. Why would Yoruba start a thread? Are they confident enough to want to stand in a country of their own? Are they not happy picking crumbs after Fulani has eaten? |

Elemosho478: No excuses go and Google search Kiriji War
Do you know how many Yoruba that died during the Civil War across Yoruba land? Do you even know how many that died during Oyo Empire Era and fought to Increase Oyo influence to far away Dahomey, Oyo Empire even clashed with Ashanti Empire in Ghana? There were also Fulani jihadists trying to take over Yoruba land.
Yoruba wanted Peace at that time and were tired of wars, the British also had superior technology and Armaments it wouldn't be easy to fight them at that weakened state, the British Promised peace and that made Yoruba to easily surrender.
If there wasn't so much war in Yoruba land at that time and Yoruba were united, the British really wouldn't have had it easy. More excuses. No self respecting warrior tribe gives up its sovereignty and territory without a fight. If Ilorin belonged to a self respecting tribe, the Fulani wouldn't dare be resting easy. Rather you people are still too dull in projecting them to power. Elemosho478: Stop beating your hairy chest lol, the only reason Yoruba did not challenge the British much was because of the Civil War in Yoruba land, even with tha some Yoruba sub tribe still challenged them, go and Google about the British-Ijebu war and even Before the British took over Lagos it was after they defeated THE Yoruba in Lagos.
The British are only lucky Yoruba were not that United during the precolonial Era, the chaos, disunity and civil war in Yoruba land gave the British easy victory and made Yoruba surrender because at that time most Yoruba sub tribes were tired of fighting any war. Haha...find more excuses. The screenshot you included even described your yeye resistance to colonialism as a "short war". In case you don't know, pre-colonial Igbo was also not united but kept the British off most of Igbo clans for 29 years. They overran you in few days for just one Ijebu clan that even had a little ball to fight. The Ekumeku war was fought from 1883 to 1914 by just one Igbo clan, Anioma. Even the British needed divide and rule Nigeria is using today to defeat the Anioma people. So stop making a comparison where none exists. |

Had it been she committed a crime, Nigeria media will carry it as, Igbo women in the USA Commits Crime and not Nigeria Born.
But since she is in the USA where merit counts, she is now a Brigadier-General.
The truth is that she is not a Nigerian. She is a Biafran. What do you mean by Biafran? The earlier we Igbo stick to our identity, the better. She is IGBO, not Nigerian, Not Biafran. The new agitation for Biafra comprises nations that are even antagonistic to the Igbo country so I see an Igbo only country in the future. |

Elemosho478: Igbo makes the best soldiers lol? How
I will say Yoruba, Yoruba are tacticians. Yoruba can easily dominate Nigerian Army on merits alone if not for Fulani and Hausa. Biafra were winning the Civil War until Yoruba entered the fray. If Yoruba did not partake in the Civil War and Ojuwku left South west alone, Biafra could have easily won the war. To know the capability of each tribe, let's isolate them from Nigeria using precolonial encounter with the whiteman. Most of you challenging Igbo today had your ancestors give up their sovereignty without a fight due to cowardice. The Igbo country fell to the British after more than 29 years of war of conquest. You can Google the Ekumeku war, the Aro-British war and several other wars between Igbo clans and the British. Should I mention northern Igbo clans such as Ezza and Abam who are fearless warriors? What are we even comparing. In teems of bravery, you don't compare Igbo with Yoruba who are just Nigerian opportunistic feeders. Yoruba indeed. So the war was no longer won because both Russia and the British were arming Nigeria. The way you Yoruba take credit for what you're incapable of is amusing. When you announce warrior tribes in Nigeria, the Yoruba won't feature among first 10 despite being a major tribe. |
