Magnifico2000: Can u recommend a good IELTS registration center for me... Where I can get good materials for it. I just need two good months to read it thouroughly. Once you take your time to read page one, you might be more knowledgeable than the agent. |

Magnifico2000: The MD did CRS Evaluation for me and said I score 470 provided i score high in my IELTS test. What is 8777? I need to get things going. The #300k is supposed to take care of ECA and IELTS? So What happens if you do not get 8777 in 4 attempts (God forbid but possible)? |

Enough resources are online. Just read page 1. It is just a simple English test that you would ace. Aim for 8777 |

Magnifico2000: Thank you very much. I was at an agency that does visa package for people. So I inquired about Canada express entry, the cost and the requirements. So the MD told me that I was gonna pay #1.2m but I have to firstly pay 300k as this would enable them start neccessary registrations and documentation. The 300k also inclein WES evaluation and also preparation for IELTS exams. The MD asked about my age and my qualifications. My masters result is not yet ready as I just clocked 28years. The MD said I'm going to pay up the raining 900k once the visa is ready.
My question now is that, is it advisible to go through that agency for express entry even though the company is registered and legitmate? Or better atilli can do it myself.
Note: one year work experience.
Thanks. The yam and knife are in your hand. Everybody here is doing it themselves. Even those agents come here to get information. If i were you, I would join the majority of Nigerians doint it themselves here and getting all the necessary information from experienced hands here. |

Magnifico2000: Please what is the average point one must have to get into the pool. You can get into the pool with any point as long as you have concluded ECA and IELTS. Getting ITA is another discussion as cut-off since February has been dancing between 450-470+. [s]I want to believe you are not just getting into the pool to swim and relax but to wait for the angel (CIC) to stir the water so you can jump out[/s].

I understand. I didn't think she would need to, remember that it was in the last two draws that things just went south as per cut off. And I was convinced it was gonna come down before our ECA came out. Bro, if I were in your shoes, I'd want my wife to write IELTS and contribute at least 10 points to this score. With your CRS, you might be looking at the next 3-4 draws to get ITA. Also, don't you think with all these unpalatable news about the recent opinion polls, October Elections, Conservative's position to revamp EE, it would be in your best interest to get ITA as fast as possible? Just a subtle advice. |

genyogbonna: I am very excited to be part of this forum.Hoping i will get encouraged here with solutions. I have been pursuing the express entry since 2017 December. It looks as if my striving is in vail as frustration is building up daily. The Crs scores are not favouring me with my current age at 36 and also disadvantaged as a medical doctor because there is no nomination for doctors. Please who can help with any other pathway to get a Pr for doctors whose age has passed Express entry. My current score is 435. If you are married, use your wife as PA if she is younger. |

YoungDharniel: Hello All,
Please I need advise for a friend. She studied Law, has gone to Law school and did a post graduate certificate in Management.
Right now she needs to evaluate her certificate but not sure whether to use WES or IQAS.
I’m aware Law students go the IQAS route but the time frame is very long (about 4 months), while WES takes 35 days.
Now, the major question is: Can she safely evaluate with WES since she has a second degree anyways? Or she definitely has to use IQAS?
Is there anyone with similar experience? How did you go about it? Why don't you first of all simulate your CRS points with either Masters degree or 2 or more certificates? This would give you an idea on what evaluation body to use base on recent trend in CRS cut-off; the last being 465. |

Reference letters must come HR only, Unless VO’s don’t confirm. Sir, you mean he has no right to right on plain paper? Never heard of this before. When a normal colleague can even write that both of your work together etc. More So, that letter is not written on behalf of the Bank. |

He is actually a full staff o. And HR refused to give him letter. They said they dont issue reference letters unless he is an exstaff. His Supervisor can write it on a plain paper and sign. Then include his business card. That's all. CIC actually mentions reference letter from your IMMEDIATE supervisor. You can confirm this from their website. |

jayceeabdulwasiu: Good day everyone, please I need a safe advise.
I worked in a formal environment for 5 years before I resigned 2 years ago to start my entrepreneur hustling (farming) in an informal ways.
My question are;
can I skip the entrepreneur hustling from my work experience in express entry and use only my 5 years experience in formal environment?
Is there any consequence for not declaring my work engagement in the last 2 years? Yes. You can claim your wprk experience from the 5years in a formal setting while your farming can go to the PH section of your application. I hope this 5years was garnered in the last 10years? |

Got fed up with this country and my quest to get out with my wife and kid was born, did a little research and found Canada to be the dream place, and I also found this thread, asked questions and was given answers but when I discovered what it will take me as a pharmacist and the numerous exams, I threw in the towel even before I started. 9ja. We die here. Ancestors 4-0 Apitch Sounds defeatist. No doubts, money is seriously involved. |
