Jeffren should be loaned out to any of the second division team.he is a waste of space and more annoying that he was making hell of noise when it was rumoured he was gonna be part of Alexis's deal.he should better think fast cos i really do not see how possible he will have more minutes than Afellay,Pedro and Alexis.i am expecting pep to start with some of the bigger bois against Bayern tonight.Bayern are not handling this tournament as mere friendlies as they are eager to lay their hand on a trophy after a trophyless season, lol.

me too i was suprise o to see their key stars yesterday o

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Messi Who Is Better by scantee(m): 11:53am On Jul 26, 2011
Mohammad Ethar(madrid fan)

Yesterday , I read a statement said by Ronaldo which said : ''I cannot compete with Lionel Messi '' And from that moment on , the pathetic and disgusting comments started to appear . One fan says Messi is better , the other says ''no, Ronaldo is'' and I am really sick of this continuous and never-ending argument about who's the better player so I've decided to put a logical end for this thing , once and for all by speaking from from a neutral point of view .

Well, I think that almost everyone realizes that Messi is the player with better ball-control,vision, and accuracy . So those terrific features combined with Barcelona's marvelous players make him an extremely deadly player .So yes I am saying that Xavi,Iniesta , and Alves help Messi a lot in order for him to shine . But no , I am not saying that Messi will fail in any other team so please don't get me wrong .

Now , it's Ronaldo's turn . Many people say that Messi gets much much more help from his teammates than Ronaldo do and that Messi always played in a squad that is superior to any squad Ronaldo took part in . Well, sorry to disappoint you but no ,
this is completely untrue because if we took a thorough look at the players Ronaldo played with , we can see that he played with the likes of GIGGS , Scholes( Xavi's Idol),Evra, and Carrick . And now he plays with an even better squad , a squad that includes Ozil ( next Zidane), Marcelo ,Ramos , Di Maria , Xabi Alonso ,Lass Diara and least but not last Benzema . And if you ask me , Ronaldo gets a big deal of help compared to the one received by Messi . All what I want to say is that they are 2 different players with different characters and playstyles so it would be truly unjust to compare them to each other .

The conclusion is that Messi is a naturally talented player with splendid dribbling ability and exceptional vision skills while Ronaldo is a top-notch athlete who has good footballing skills but would absolutely fail if it wasn't for his miraculous athletic ability.

The better football player ( naturally talented ) : definitively Messi

The better athlete with great determination and drive : definitively Ronaldo

My choice would be Messi because I am choosing a football player not an olympics participant ( Ronaldo has superb physique and is 100 % fat-free but no natural raw talent )

Politics › Re: Boko Haram:we Have 100 Volunteer Suicide Bombers For 2011 High Profile Targets by scantee(m): 12:46pm On Jul 22, 2011
RICHIE BOI:
The Boko Haram sect has dropped another bombshell.
The group said at the weekend that it has screened about 100 volunteers for sundry suicide attacks on high profile targets  planned for 2011.

Some of the targets  are the presidential villa, Vice President Namadi Sambo, Jigawa Governor, Sule Lamido, that of Niger, Babangida Aliyu; and former Speaker, Bello Massari.

The group also disclosed that for 2012, a larger number of faithful has been lined up for the fierce Jihad that would be occasioned by suicide bombings against what they tag illegal Federal and State governments of infidels.

Abu Zaid, spokesman for the group that has left in its trail tons of murdered citizens, and destruction of properties worth tens of millions of naira, maintained that their quest is total islamization of Nigeria, and not in just 12 northern states as reported in the media.

He said “we never made such statement we wanted sharia in 12 states. The person who said this was one Usman Al- Zawahiri , and we don't know him , in fact our investigation revealed that he is SSS operative brought in to discredit us and give an impression we are divided . I am the only spokesperson appointed by our Amir, Mallam Abubakar Shekau, that is why I gave you this video and pictures of the bomber which clearly shows I am the authentic spokesman for the group"

Zaid who spoke in Hausa, described the Force Headquarters attack as successful.

According to him  " of course we planned it as a suicide attack right from the outset . The attacker left his will to his family, we were with him and he bid everyone farewell. He was calm and looked peaceful even when he had decided to give his life away. Many brothers envied him and wished it were there turn to act, so far we have screened nearly 100 persons for suicide attacks for this year alone in Nigeria, more than this number are getting ready for next year ."

Still on the Force Headquarters blast, the group which maintained that it believes in the cause of the Al  Quaeda based in Somalia and other parts of Africa said " the police lied when it said the car was a V  Boot . It was an ash colored Honda 86. We are surprised as to why the police are confused anytime we strike. The bomb we used was a readymade bomb which we acquired from abroad and we are going to use several of them in future attacks"

The group which warned that Nigerians should take them seriously said many lives would be lost " before we overthrow this illegal government."

According to Zaid , all members of the sect have sworn to be faithful, and that no member dared undermine the cause of Boko Haram saying " if our leader mall am Abubakar Shekau decides to undermine this Jihad we shal not hesitate to kill him , "

Piqué on the men who make Barcelona tick

Central defender Gerard Piqué aspires to be "the funniest one" in Josep Guardiola's FC Barcelona squad
Barcelona central defender Gerard Piqué talked UEFA.com through his Camp Nou team-mates.

Víctor Valdés
The best goalkeeper for Barça's style. He is phenomenal with his feet, and on the two or three occasions in a match when our opponents get near our goal he always makes a save. He wins you a lot of points and saves a lot of matches like that. For us, he's the No1.

Daniel Alves
He runs a lot. He runs up and down for 90 minutes, and is impressive physically. He gives us a lot of energy in attack when we are struggling – we have Leo and Villa [up front], but him and Pedro come from the wings and that helps us a lot.

Carles Puyol
One day, when we were winning 5-0 or 6-0, he had a go at me for something. I don't know why because I had cleared the ball, and he was saying: 'You are not focusing, not being careful.' It was the 90th minute and we were 5-0 up , and I said: 'Puyol, please!'

Éric Abidal
It was very emotional [when he returned after treatment for a liver tumour]. When they told us he was ill, it was a huge blow. To return to the team against Madrid [in the semi-final] knowing we were already through, he deserved that. He's a star as a person, and he creates a great atmosphere in the dressing room. This year he has been fabulous.

Seydou Keita
He's a player who gives us a lot in midfield. In matches which are very physical – as all the players apart from me are small – Keita gives us a lot of physical presence.

Sergio Busquets
Very intelligent. He reads the game very well and varies his passes. He never slips up, he never makes mistakes with his passes.

Javier Mascherano
He made a sacrifice to come here. He gave everything to come to a club like Barcelona , and he made it. You have to give him credit, because you know that in the end he wanted to win trophies and he knew how to do that very well. He is a great lad, very intelligent. I get along with him very well.

Xavi Hernández
He is the most influential player [in Spanish football]. He has won a European Championship, he has won the World Cup. He has been one of the most influential people in changing Spain's style of play, from playing well and losing to playing well and winning. That's what was missing, and Xavi has been the key to making that possible.

Andrés Iniesta
Just magic. He scores important goals – at Stamford Bridge, for example, in the 94th minute [of the 2009 semi-final second leg] or in the final of the World Cup. He will be remembered for that. He deserves it, because as a person he is a ten out of ten. He has had a great year because his daughter, Valleria, was born. We're all delighted about that.

Lionel Messi
We have been playing together since we were very young, since he came to the club aged 13 or 14. We have a great friendship. He is the best there is. He is already the best player in football history, and there is still more to come – his career has been great and still has a long way to go. We are still young. As I'm only 24 I can't really tell you much about Pelé or [Diego] Maradona, but Leo is definitely by far the best out there at the moment. He is such a lovely person. Being the best, he could behave in a different way, but he is just so lovely and creates a great atmosphere in the dressing room.

Pedro Rodríguez
He has shown how much he can do in the last two years, though it took him a while to get going in the first year. The last two years have been something to see. Everything he has touched has gone in. He's always on the lookout and at key moments he is always there.

David Villa
Because of his ability we already knew he would adapt well – he knew a lot of our players from the World Cup. He has fantastic figures with 18 goals in the league and many more in all competitions. In the end, that's what we need him for.

Gerard Piqué
It is very difficult to describe myself. I always try to give the best I have. Off the pitch, I try to be the funniest one and to enjoy all of this, because it's a unique time which others in the history of this club haven't experienced – winning one Champions League and three league titles, and now being in another Champions League final. We have to have a smile on our faces and enjoy our lives, because it has been phenomenal

Those bold part is so funny!!

i don't know about private hospital or government hospital, but i can testify for many companies such as NLNG/Shell etc, the average nurse/first Aider is not earning less than 100k, most companies used first aiders with Red Cross cert as their nurse, for example most of our nurses here in our company (SPDC) don't even have HND talk more Bsc. but none of them earn less than 100k

Well, we were beaten 2-1. So champagne on ice, and it ups the stakes.
At least Sociedad get a valuable 3 points. Since Real Madrid also lost, I think we can rest easy and write this one down to the shambolic performances in central defence. Once Pique went out, it was all messy at the end.

Thank God these defeats come at the right time - when it has the least consequences.
