Shukarat Oladipo is so good that she is as graceful in the RB role as she is at CB but when Alozie returns, Shukarat will vacate that RB role. So where does that leave her? On the bench as the 3rd choice CB or as backup to Alozie or will Madugu start her ahead of the Old General, Ohale and pair her with the Defensive Lieutenant, Demehin... time will tell but Shukurat's case is interesting coz she easily starts for any other national side in Africa and some teams in Europe.

Shukurat have a case for a starting spot but will the Coach drop for her?? Veteran Osinachi Ohale or Michelle Alozie..

Truthfully is only a Foreign Coach that will handle the team and NFF will be pressured to do the needful for them.. Because those foreign coaches won’t keep quiet for the NFF to walk over them and spoil their reputations..

Madugu and Ann is only there because they’re the ones the NFF can tell sit down and they would immediately…! They can’t question the NFF neither can they demand for a better preparation or treatment for the team from the NFF..

As Orlando Pride coach have said he’s trying to get Nicole more playing time and I guess we would get to say her play either as a Winger or her Original right back position.

Nicole Payne 🇳🇬 scores the match winner in her first start since returning from a long term injury that saw her miss the whole of 2025.

Taking her to the WAFCON might also boost her confidence though… Kudos to Orlando Pride who signed her even though she’s just returning from a major injury..

So little said of Rofiat Imuran who I feel deserves more invites than she has gotten so far. I know she did not exactly finish the season in the starting lineup of London City Lionesses but she did garner enough gametime and impressed multiple times when she playes LB. She should seriously be in the mix for the Wafcon as Ashley's backup.

The problem at Club level right now is that the Spanish Coach do not fancy her at all. He prefers to play the English or Spanish Left Back unlike the former French Coach who liked her so much and always play her..


Maybe time to look elsewhere, since the New Coach doesn’t look her way! Arguably among the top3 fastest Left Back in the WSL..
