High levels of testosterone? I'm still not convinced. I believe there's something they are not telling the public again some of the fans are claiming she’s hermaphrodite.

If you watch the Banyana Banyana of South Africa game against the Netherland few months ago you would know very well that they only stand a slight chance against the Superfalcons right now... Their Left Back position is another weakness they have, Coach Desiree Ellis will have to move Ramalepe who can play on either side of the fullback from the right back to left to save their Ass, if not whosoever that would be playing there will definitely have it tough against our forward...If you watch the Banyana Banyana of South Africa game against the Netherland few months ago you would know very well that they only stand a slight chance against the Superfalcons right now... This was the line up that played against the Banyana Banyana during the Aisha Buhari Cup last year... Chiamaka Nnadozie Michelle Alozie Akudo Ogbonna Onome Ebi Glory Ogbonna Rita Chikwelu Regina Otu Joy Bokiri Uchenna Kanu Desire Oparanozie Asisat Oshoala Oparanozie and Bokiri ain't in this team for the tournament... Defense will have a big time change as Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre will be coming in... Midfield will also have a massive Change as Rasheedat Ajibade, Christy Ucheibe, Tony Payne, Halimatu Ayinde and inform Ngozi Okobi is there... Regina Otu may likely come from the bench as Chikwelu will definitely seat out... Upfront we have got Ifeoma Onumonu, Franny Ordega to spice things up... Left for me this Falcons team should beat SA at least 2nil as the players coming in are bringing in a lot of pace, power and stability... |
If I were Coach Randy Waldrum Christy Ucheibe will start ahead of Otu and Chikwelu at defensive midfield as she's more combative and work tirelessly... Even at her young age she comes in with a lot of experience playing topflight football... This is a player who have grown from U17,U20 and now the Superfalcons... Let's keep our head high.. |
A fit and inform Fransisca Ordega will save us a lot of stress upfront.. Franny has never had a bad WAFCON tournament from 2010 till date... I'm still banking on that. And if she doesn't turn up Uchenna Kanu will have to double up as they're the main flank players.. We have got Vivian Ikechukwu, Monday Gift too Macleans Chinonyerem is surrounded by big name's like Asisat Oshoala, Ifeoma Onumonu at the Center of the attack so no much attention have been given to her considering she would be filling into the void left by Desire Oparanozie her fellow well built striker..

Modern Football is now played with fast paced that promotes physicality and intense pressing while also sustaining the foundation of structural play and tiki-taka. I just want to see the falcons doing this, thanks to the those Players who are good with their ball handling coupled with their Speed.... I just hope Coach Randy seat out Rita Chikwelu from the starting 11 and give rooms to the Younger defensive midfielders especially Christy Ucheibe who alone can cover a lot of ground breaking down opposing play and winning possessions.. With Energetic Ayinde again in Midfield who's also a great passer and a good ball winner, whosever that takes up the Attacking Midfield position between Ngozi Okobi, Rasheedat Ajibade and Tony Payne will definitely have more rooms to operate.. Regina Otu should be Randy no.1 substitute in Midfield for either Ucheibe or Ayinde if she doesn't start ahead of any of them when the need arises... |
For those that didn't have the chance to watch the Friendly game between the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco and Cote's D' Ivoire. Here's a better highlight that can give you an hint about what they can offer... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F7R3AnnDHw |

Few more pictures before the falcons left for Morocco

AkinDS:Glory Ogbonna errors have cost the falcons a lot.... Is it against the US, South Africa, Ghana or even Portugal?? I would rather have any of the Payne Sisters or Ashleigh Plumptre at left Back.. |
AkinDS:I still can't get over this, I believe there's more to this.. I'm still trying to get the facts on why Glory Ogbonna looks before than Patri because going with the football qualities Ogbonna doesn't come close, again Patri has a lot of qualities that set her ahead of her, is it the speed, Physical Strength, Skills or experience?? |
isan:If Randy doesn’t bench Onome Ebi in a 4 Women defence, Ashleigh Plumptre will likely play from the Left Back to accommodate Ohale and Ebi at Center Back with Alozie in Right Back… I really want to see Nicole Payne having more game time…! Her pace is blastering going forward.. |
GeneralDae:Yeah yeah yeah, Glory Ogbonna is my major concern in the defence, to me she is still very much average in every aspect of her game… Anyway Randy knows best! |
GeneralDae:Patricia George was not injured when the list came out, She missed some number of invitations too. Again she hasn’t lived up to expectations according to insiders from the Superfalcon training Camp… |
olapluto:Talking about Rita Chikwelu, She’s the only Midfielder in the Superfalcons that can literally play everywhere in the Field except as a Goalkeeper!.. Forward, Midfield and as a Defender.. Remember back in her early days with the Superfalcons, She was an attacking Midfielder before moving to the Central Midfield position then as a Defensive Midfielder. From 2011 till date her major role for the Superfalcons was the DM… Christy Ucheibe and Regina Otu are natural DM/Box-to-Box.. The Amanda Mbadi you mentioned is still far behind Ucheibe and Otu in the pecking order… Any day Rita Chikwelu chooses to retire there’s no problem because we already have two aggressive defensive midfielder battling for one spot and Amanda Mbadi who i would pick as their back up for now… then again Abiodun who is coming from the U20… We really need a Central Midfielder cause Halimatu Ayinde can’t do the job alone, she need a stiff competition… Ngozi Okobi now has a tough battle facing Ajibade and Payne for one Spot.. This is a Competition i so much love, As it stands Ajibade wouldn’t want to seat on the bench, Okobi would want to reclaim her starting spot and as for Payne Coach Randy would always want to fix her somewhere.! |
lovewins:Asisat Oshoala is the team Star and Ultimate Striker, She's definitely starting alongside Ifeoma Onumonu and Ordega or Kanu... At top 9 Onumonu and Oshoala will be rotating it as game progress... |
olapluto:I will prefer they continue with 4-3-3 or the 3-5-2 Considering the Caliber of Center Backs we have, playing Onome in-between Ohale and Plumptre.. Again There's no need playing Ayinde as DM when you already have the Combative duo of Ucheibe and Otu, either of them can do the job very well... Ayinde will have to remain in Central Midfield position where she can easily operate as a double pivotal Midfielder playing Box-to-Box allowing whosoever that is playing the AM have more freedom to do her job.. With the 3-5-2, Tony Payne and Alozie will also benefit well as Wing Backs... Upfront should have Oshoala and Onumonu with the rest coming in as Substitutes...But this might reduce our attacking threat upfront... |
olapluto:There's Solgado in the SA team. She's currently their rising star ... The depth we have no team have it in the AWCON.. Talking about having Fullbacks, We have them Michelle Alozie isn't a natural Right Back but she gets better with every game she plays.. Again Nicole Payne is an excellent and the fastest full back in the team going forward and back, her only problem right now is her final deliveries( Decision Making) after overlapping. Use the first game against Canada as a case study, she had the chance from her flank down to the Canadian box18 but her final pass was off, if she can work on this I bet she would be a superb full back as she's good playing Left/Right. Her mentor is Alexander Alnord and Lucy Bronze and she plays similarly like them.. As for Glory Ogbonna, I will say she's the weakest link among the full backs.. |

South Africa can easily be beaten, Cut out all Supplies to Thembi kgatlana you have already reduced them to 60%... Take over the Midfield from Linda Maserami Mothalo and Rafilo Jane it's done.. This game doesn't need Rita Chikwelu in Midfield, Play Ucheibe, Ayinde and Ajibade or Okobi cause I'm pretty sure Randy will fix Tony Payne elsewhere.. Then bring in Otu for Ucheibe or Ayinde if any of them tire out... |
justicechichex:I don't see the South Africa side beating the Superfalcons.... They have improved yes, but the Superfalcons at the Aisha Buhari Cup last year isn't thesame... Now we have Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre in defense Ajibade, Ucheibe, Ayinde, Tony Payne didn't feature in that tournament but the SA team had 100% of their squad at the Aisha Buhari Cup Upfront they still have Ifeoma Onumonu and a better Oshoala to face, Let's keep our hope high... Franny Ordega was injured during the Aisha Buhari Cup, we all know how excellent she's if she is in top form... No need to Panic, it's an open game! |
isan:Even though it's still the Center Back Why fix her on the Right side when you know too well that she's left footed and Ohale Plays the Left Center Back occasionally (2/10 occasions)... |
Officially 32players in come.... |
isan:Funny Line up..... Ashleigh Plumptre plays from the Left Center Back not the other way round.... Ayinde and co is back... |
Player's still expected in Camp latest tomorrow 1. Ifeoma Onumonu 2. Ngozi Okobi 3. Anam Imo 4. Vivian Ikechukwu |
TheSuperNerd:Welcome The SuperNerd where have you been?? |
AkinDS:Certainly there's no Friendly game for the Superfalcons prior to the AWCON.. Except there's a late Changes... All teams are expected to name a minimum of 23 players and maximum of 28players thats with the additional 5 standby players..
