Let's make this clear, I don't care who u or anybody wants to play for the team but when u start throwing dirt on a players name I don't feel that. I have said the same thing about the Oshoala bashing and I will do the same for every player.

10 days to the Super Falcons Friendly with the USA and the NFF is yet to release a team list. I really do hope they are working with players on the background.

There's no point having a friendly game if the players needed for team building can't feature. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of th Canada experience.

I joined late so can't provide a context for how the conversation started. I'll however make inferences for what I saw.

Okobi basically shared he experience with Randy Waldrum and the impact of that experience on her and her family.

First, she alleges that Randy had a negative bias towards her. He allegedly said sited not seeing her play before as an excuse for her not being in the team.

She talked about injury spell (not sure if it was hers or Halimatu Ayinde) and how they were hopeful of being in Morocco. After she didn't get the call and Ayinde did, she gave up hope though Ayinde was still hopeful of her being included.

She received a call much later from Randy after it was confirmed Oparanozie couldn't make the team and took a flight to Abuja to join them.

She claims Randy already had a core team he intended to work with and this had nothing to do with your showing in training. (This was exclusive of herself, Ayinde and Ucheibe but claims Ayinde was included last minute). She expressed her displeasure to the Falcons losing the South African game and blames the loss to technical deficiency.

She alleges that Randy probably reads comments on social media and that was pretty probably why he reluctantly used her in the second game. She claims Randy apologized to her after that game (and did so 3 other times in Morocco) after he witnessed what she brought to the team.

Addendum:

She said something about almost having issues with Asisat (didn't exactly get what the issue was)

Also talked about the conversation she had with Randy about captaincy when it became obvious Onome couldn't continue. Apparently her teammates suggested that she take up the responsibility.

Also talked about the role of the media and the effect that had on players. She alleges the Nigerian Media hypes just one (a few) players to the detriment of the team. She says they all read this and this ultimately doesn't help team spirit.

Moving forward, she didn't mince words in suggesting the successes recorded by the team so far is primarily as a result of individual brilliance and had nothing to do with what the coach's contribute technically invariably suggesting the necessity for a new coach

Sebastine is good, funny, quick and nimble on the ball and true she's got a big heart taking on on defenders for her size they did not give her the king of through pass..In the middle like the one that she scored against France...the midfielders were just spraying and pumping the ball forward today ..

This Esther Chinemerem Onyenezide lass is something.

She showed same class in the first game. Her class on the ball and workrate off the ball has always been obvious.

That she scored with her right foot is indeed testament to her ambipedality. Her two-footedness is very very strong and combined with her technical ability, it is little wonder she is quite unpredictable on the ball. A young midfield marvel.

Super Falcons material 100%.
