Hah bro or sister with out a well paid job as in a job that is constant... Full time job you can't survive here like stay comfortably.

Unless you have billions of Naira to exchange.

You pay for gas, heat, water electricity and house rent. My house rent is like 1.5 million per month excluding other bills.
The few people i know abroad are doing better than 95% of Nigerians. There are lots of family in Nigeria that would have die of hunger and starvation if not for their siblings, uncle, aunties abroad helping them. The remittance from abroad alone to Nigeria is miles ahead of our national budget. 8 of every 10 standard houses in my own area are owned by the diasporans. I wouldn't advise those doing very fine in Nigeria to abandon everything and go start afresh though. I think abroad should be for those striving to survive in Nigeria, if they have the means to go, they shouldn't think it twice before leaving. Nonetheless, people doing pretty fine relocate not basically for economic reasons but probably for security, quality education, healthcare et al

Thanks you. U said it it all.
People just come online to deceive people to sell their houses, leave their well paid jobs and venture into the unknown.

I made this mistake and I am regretting right now.

Please if you have a well paid job. Please and please remain in Nigeria
The question you should ask yourself was "how many Nigerians get well paid job? Very very few. Besides, people migrate for different reasons. Some don't want to be kidnapped or got killed by bandits. Some don't want to end their lives in our death trap road. I can always go on and on

Really sad experience for a child. I feel for her parents, may they find the grace to stay strong.

The problem of Nigeria is leadership, the president is incompetent. People thought that after Buhari's disastrous leadership, things would get better. They never knew another disaster of a government was waiting to happen.

What's the need of democracy if elections are rigged so that the right leaders never get a chance? In my opinion, it would be better if the military government take over, at least for some years. . Or successful foreigners come in to lead Nigeria.

If a government fails to fix security issues, economic issues, jobs, electricity, etc, then such a government is totally dead and u$eless.
I prefer this though. The country is absolutely nothing to write home about

You were eating subsidized Eba, meat, ponmo and drinking subsidized pure water in 2007.

With that guise of subsidy, some people were stealing your future and the future of children blind. The net effect is what we are seeing today.

You can blame BAT all you want. At least he has the gut to remove the subsidy and allow naira to float to find it real value. Doing so, he has plugged the massive stealing that was going on with the dual exchange rate.

Truth dey bitter.
STOP THAT

Your emilokan cried over the country claiming it is his turn to become president. Like it is his birth right. Was he elected into the office to apportion blames on past leaders? Was he elected into that office to make things worst for Nigerians? You're not saying the truth but ignorance is what is affecting you and your likes. If your emilokan doesn't have the mental capacity to turn Nigerians lives better he should kindly step down for someone else. No one is an island. There are many competent ones that'd deliver dividend of democracy for every Nigerians, not hardship your emilokan has infected us with, while he's busy gallivanting in a foreign country

You are talking jargons. It is easier to survive with one child than with four. I will give you evidence and statistics to support my assertions.

A poor individual should only have max of one child. Mentalities like yours are why there are generational poverties in some families.
he was supporting @BRATISLAVA who claimed too many children is not the cause of poverty. To them, once you're poor then you're poor. Having one or ten children will not make you rich. Look at OP story. His parents has five children. One is dead, they don't know if the second is alive or dead. Op struggle to see himself through school, after school no job yet. The other siblings are still stagnant. Is that not poverty? But BRATISLAVA said the children are not the cause of their parents POVERTY.

No, it's not true. For some people, the only "comma" in their life is their bad handwriting or the shape of their second child's nose or their own height —for money, they have it in abundance.
That is not a problem or shortcomings to them. I have seen many people that has money, married, have kids with good health. What else do you want? Big head, ugliness, wide nose etc all those ones no be issue abeg

So that's your reason for endorsing crime?? Whatever a man sows he will reap, any man who makes other people cry all in the name of getting rich will also lose their I'll gotten wealth to fraudsters like them.
what would you have suggested for them instead of crime. I believe you know unemployment has gone out of hand? How would these youths had survived? They had families, siblings and other dependants that look up to them. I am in no way in support of crime. I detest it. It has spoilt our image in the world. Nonetheless, how would they survive without it, and when the governor do not care.

I cannot deny the existence of all you listed as responsible for cyber crimes, but still not an excuse to get involved in illegality.

It is only in Nigeria that when you correct a wrong, the next thing you hear is shebi the next person is doing it.

Moreover, the politicians you are blaming for this, who elected them into office? There are jobs these young people can engage themselves with that would bring daily bread just that youth of nowadays don't like to go through the process, they want quick money and plus greed.

The mother of the yahoo boy, why didn't she give the boy her real name? Means whe knows the repercussions of her son's actions. The babalawo that did the diabolic soap for him didn't direct him to use it on the politicians but his mother.

Let's call a spade a spade please.
It is absolutely wrong no doubt. Nonetheless, government should find a lasting solution to these menace. Unemployment has been a ticking timing bomb. The youths now believe as an average Nigerians, it is either you're into crime or related to the political class, if none, then one should be ready to die poor unless he/she is from a wealthy home. These menace has eaten deep into the system that teenagers in secondary School are also into it. Parents support them because of the hardship in the country. parents cannot provide for their wards anymore. There are many ways government could curb unemployment. You could imagine a family with 3 graduates but none is gainfully employed with reasonable job. Remember hunger is a disaster. It could make one do just anything. One can never understand what the poor masses are going through if one hadn't gone through that. I understand we all voted these corrupt leaders into office. And the cycle of electing these corrupt leaders might continue. I was discussing with a friend sometime ago about these cyber fraud of a thing, and i was asking him if there was no such thing in existence then how would these youths survive. He claimed they would be robbing people even in a broad daylight. Our home will no longer be safe. Only those who cannot do Yahoo now indulge in physical robbery.

I may be wrong though, but i think 80 out of 100 Nigerian youths are into various cyber fraud. You'd see young men on Monday morning roaming the streets. Kidnapping, banditary, rituals et al are also another means of making it in Nigeria after Yahoo.
Those who could afford relocation are doing so without thinking twice. They believed the country is not safe for them and their families. Imagine living in a community where most of the youths are into cyber fraud while others are in abject poverty? It is really bad seriously and the government do not care.
