you're right at bolded. It is a serious problem in Nigeria. The government feel less concern about the menace. Most of these youths are already into cyber fraud (Yahoo) only few percentage of them are not into it despite the hardship.

If someone sends OP to USA to stay, within 10 years he will banish poverty in their family, then he will know it is not a curse.

Rule 1 - A man from a poor family should not marry early esp when he is not financially independent and should have few (say 2) children when he does.

i didn't say the family is not suffering from poverty. POVERTY is written all over them, but from OP story even their father's family are completely poor. Don't you think family or generational curse might be affecting them also?

There's no two ways that unemployment is responsible for most of the crimes committed by young ones. I was there and I know it.

I used to do pilfering/petty theft to help myself. Even on this forum, I used to beg or try to swindle people to get any little financial favour just to survive because I didn't have a job.

Could you believe since I got a job (to God be the glory), none of such thought ever crossed my mind again?

You're right. Although depends on the lady though. Not all ladies accept that. Some men will claimed they had to know her level of fertility and i began to wonder if that's the only way of knowing a woman's fertility. I thought of this too. You can't just suspend it without paying those beneficiaries their 8 months outstanding stipend. It's unfair

You better attend great schools or when you finish from those two small schools you mentioned, go for your post graduate in UNILAG, a top prestigious 1st-generation university, so that serious organisations will take you serious.

Even LASU keeps coming to UNILAG to head hunt for their VCs. From Prof Fagbohun to the current VC, Prof Olatunji Bello, their offices are still in UNILAG o and will return after their time in LASU because they know the international clout and prestige UNILAG has and no other school has.

My brother finished from Unilag, while my cousin finished from LASU. I am not talking about ranking. They both confirmed how LASU is more academy rigid than Unilag. Unilag used OBJ for her year 1&2 undergrad exam, while LASU uses German and Theory from year 1 till final year. I understand Unilag has condusive learning environment unlike LASU, that may also be a favourable factor

And for the employment aspect, that was in the past. It's not applicable anymore. Government or private firm will not employ you simply because you have Unilag on your certificate.

I agree. The online protest and call outs got to them. That was why they met with the Ministry in December last year. Started asking questions, so the Ministry decided to pay. But now that there’s no Minister, who will approve the payment? It is very difficult now. More than ever.
But the call out should not stop.

I think the perm sec should suffice. Moreover, it is CBN that do disburse the money, i don't think the absence of the minister should delay unless they are not willing to pay it
