malton: The hell are you on about? A former president, contributor, and someone who has changed the fortunes of so many people. Yet, you call him useless? Like, what does useless mean in your own dictionary?
You may not agree with a lot of his policies, but that does not mean he is up to no good at all. There's no individual that will satisfy everybody.
He has his faults, but useless, he will never be. Chances are that man may have played in a more important role in your life than even some of the people you look up to.
Embrace joy and jettison the bile. No be you suffer pass.
We must learn to respect elders. I love your reply. The earlier we learn to analytically unbiased with our criticism d better for us in this nation. |

To me d federal govt should have duly consulted with d Islamic highest body in Nigeria before declaring any holiday at all. Inconsistencies such as this hasty holiday declaration usually result in economic grounding and avoidable daily schedule crisis even if it is for a day. People's programs are already affected by this extent ion. |

Sometimes I get baffled with respect to what we really want as Nigerians. When d system throws up a fetish, human- sacrificing traditional ruler we all rise to question d relevance of archaic traditions in d 21st century. Now we have a paramount king who publicly tows d line of our hyped 21st century norms and we are still feeling grumpy. Nigerians what do u really want? For d king to declare for Jesus and say no to human sacrifice or for him to take us back to d era of Mary Slessor? |

Politics › Re: Occupy NASS : Hypocrisy Or Genuine National Assignment? (photo) by Scholarforever: 10:30am On Apr 27, 2016 |
GeneralShepherd: Everything in Nigeria currently goes to the highest bidder. From Occupy Nigeria to Occupy NASS and even this article.
This article is a disgrace to journalism, it attempts to whip up sentiments in favour of Saraki using other unrelated national incidents. I would not be surprised if the payment was calculated per word, it reeks of 'brown envelope ' journalism.
Fulani terrorists are killing Igbos with tacit support of our security agencies. I concur but how does this make Saraki less corrupt.
Fashola is an incompetent minister. His reputation was built by media propaganda when he was the governor of Lagos State. I agree but why should that stop Nigerians from demanding that Saraki resigns.
Even if Saraki does not want to resign as a Senator, he should save whatever respect the office of the Senate President has left. Saraki needs to bow out from his position and save Nigeria from further ridicule. If u read d article well u would see that d writer did not make any attempt to justify Saraki. To me, Saraki must resign or be humiliated out of d senate presidency but there are other critical issues that must be URGENTLY addressed e.g. d unchecked madness of d animals called Fulani herdsmen. APC must not only condemn it but also act decisively to stop it. This was how Boko Haram started and then went ahead to gain ground under GEJ. #IstandwithBuhari# but Fulani herdsmen must be given Boko Haram treatment, fuel scarcity must be tackled and people must not be made to pay for d electricity they have not consumed. |

PentiumPro: Are you an APC member? If APC decides to fire him, what is your business. You have no input to making him a minister. If not to fulfill federal character, people like Kachikwu have no business in an APC government. Try to understand d gist of d matter. This outcry is like noticing a defect in how govt at d federal level is run and for everyone to start protesting that Yemi Osinbajo d vice-president must go while nobody says anything to d sitting President. It's like punishing an Assistant Class Captain for not controlling d class while d Class Captain is there doing nothing. This outcry is either borne out of hypocrisy or fear for facing d Senior Pet Minister. Though I support d Buhari Govt I believe he should allow somebody who knows about d Pet Ministry to head it. |

Watch him on channels tv and u will be shocked such a person can call himself a lawyer! If u read through and was able to comprehend his gist u won't give this kind of opinion. It was this same lawyer who took FRSC to court over new driver's licence and number plate deadline and he won. I am for Buhari too but I think he should pay attention to this lawyer's concern. Most times d truth about whom we are usually come from our critics while our supporters like telling us what we want to hear instead of what we should hear. |

Politics › Re: Apply Ruling On Tinubu To My Case – Saraki Tells CCT by Scholarforever: 1:28pm On Mar 19, 2016 |
HungerBAD: This Saraki is a Comedian.
He should go into the home video business after he gets kicked out of the Senate, and completes his jail time. There are many differences between you and Tinubu, but most importantly Tinubu is one of the reason's why we have democracy in Nigeria.
When Tinubu and the likes of Abraham Adesanya, were in the trenches fighting for Nigeria via the NADECO, where was this Mr Ibu?so the PDP lead Government cooked up charges, and tried to put Tinubu away. But, they also knew that touching a freedom fighter like Tinubu, would signify the West going their way.
So the honest man was left alone.
Saraki in your case, you have never worked in your life, and from your fathers living room you went into power where looting became your surname. Please Saraki, never in your life compare yourself to Tinubu.
You committed a crime, Tinubu was not there, so face your trial alone without calling names. I am neither for Tinubu nor Saraki. In court cases, judgements are usually passed based on d constitution and any precedent that has been set by d judges who handled similar cases in d past. This is why our judges must be very careful. With this kind of revelation if d charges are still pressed against Saraki it would have justified d rumour of a political witch hunt against him in APC. I want to appeal to d APC to tread cautiously because 2019 is close by and d party is yet to justify d mandate given to it in 2015. To say Nigerians are suffering is an understatement. Pls face d real issue and stop chasing shadow. |

No. If he had used another state as a case study many people would read another meaning to his analysis. By the way the man is only stating d obvious. We need a total overhaul in our political structure. The report of GEJ confab comes to mind here.
