Lol... I have been using it since my days of camon c8. It's not a bad app though. I always spin for free coins everyday so my download can be free
Maybe one of the few reasons I am really liking it is that I am a sucker for organisation. The app is well made.

I know a lot of us here are apprehensive about products of a particular company, but I recently downloaded one of their softwares; Boomplayer by Tecno mobile limited.
I feel it is a wonderful software and I finally have the opportunity to at least appreciate my favorite African Artistes by paying directly for their hardwork.
One month free full subscription for new registered users. wink

Note: I am in no way affiliated to the above company.

Thanks a lot, both of you. I got it right and I'm currently enjoying a movie I wanted to abandon because all the subtitles I downloaded before didn't sync perfectly while using my VLC player.

Just uninstalled my VLC right now and deleted the raw file. MX is 100% better than it with many juicy options embedded therein.
Well you will still end up downloading it back. You just don't understand VLC very well. You can adjust the synchronization of audio and subtitle.
Phones › Re: What Is The Best Video App For Android ? by scotweezy(m): 11:45am On Oct 08, 2017
VLC is the undisputed best Media player for Android and Windows, I am not sure of other operating systems.
Some audio and video files that refused to play on other media players like MX player played effortlessly and smoothly on VLC.
A good example is the recent HEVC X265 encoded Video files, I have had issues atimes playing some of these type of files smoothly on MX player and even inbuilt Video players on my phone, but VLC has always come through.

You can change the UI to the Dark theme option in settings. Read tutorials online and get yourself acclimatized with VLC and you will love it.

Note: I have both Media players on my phone and MX player is very good, I will give it to MX on UX but VLC will trump when it comes to decoding of stubborn Media files.

And I use a very recent phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon version.

Lemme make something straight for u. Talks about HD vs FHD is being exaggerated. LG G3 has a full HD while LG G2 has a HD screen, but u won't notice the difference between the two. Screen inches of 5.5 below is too small for u to differentiate bw FHD and HD.

It's more about what Ur phone experience in the past has been. If U're used to high end phones, then u might be disappointed in the screen of the redmi note 4.
Why?

For instance the screen of LG G2 and RN4 are supposed to be on par cos both are 1080 x 1920 pixels. Right?
Unfortunately they ain't. the quality of the pictures and videos in LG G2 is absolutely better than the RN4. The note 4 is only brighter (I ain't talking about d camera o. The note 4 beats it there)

The RN4 is the perfect midrange phone, but never expect an all round flagship experience from a midrange phone
LG G3 Full HD, LG G2 HD?? undecided And you still went on to say LG G2 has 1080*1920?? huh
The only correct thing here is that LG G2 has 1920*1080p and that is Full HD. And LG G3 has QHD screen not Full HD. Except a version was released with Full HD.

This is actually my first time in the Fashion section even though I have been a member for a long time. I guess I felt the need to drop something here. To the important part, your introduction was too shallow and sincerely it lacks important information. As a form of advice, why not include some of the following in your introductory note:

*Estimated exchange rate as at a particular period(you will have to be changing this intermittently).
*Number, Email, Whatsapp, Telegram and other contact info.
*A long list of credible sites your customers can get products from at competitive prices.
*How does the delivery go? Estimated time of arrival? Do you provide logistics outside Lagos?(which I guess the products will be arriving at).
*Can you provide Express shipping services for urgently needed products?
*Since this thread is still in infant stage, when it eventually grows, take it upon yourself and find interesting deals that you feel aligns with the buying patterns of your customers.

NB: If I remember more I will modify this post. Happy selling. And don't forget to be transparent as much as possible with your customers. wink

chai my own Redmi Note 4X no dey last like dz ooo.. Tell me method wey you use make ur battery last o
One or two things might be affecting the battery performance. It might be the network in your area, probably not strong enough and causing your phone to search more intensively for signal. It might also be your usage pattern.
One tip from me, you can switch on battery saver, it will help squeeze out additional hours of SOT.

Sourcing parts from different vendors didn't start with note 4, and will certainly not stop there. It has been their business model.

How you arrived at the conclusion that pics taken with Samsung sensors end up in sorry state, is certainly beyond me. So phones like note 3 pro or redmi 3s pictures are awful?

You should compare the pictures from redmi 3s and note 4x (Sony sensor) and see for yourself grin

If you are still worried about sourcing for parts from different vendors, then I'm afraid to remind you that the fingerprint sensor also comes in 2 variants, Goodix and FPC
There is no point in defending Xiaomi here, my brother no be only you like Xiaomi, we all probably do here.
The point is, Xiaomi bleeped up. There is no two ways about this argument.
The Redmi note 4/4x with Sony sensors are better than the ones later fitted with samsung and another I just heard of.
Making an official statement statement about it would have atleast made buyers aware of what they are likely to get.

Just because I like something or someone no mean say make I no yarn am correct truth. Infact people you love are the ones you should scold the more.

Gud day guys.
It has been over 1 month dt I join Xiaomi family and no complain what so ever since but like three days a go, I started experiencing one thing one thing on my phone, if I have call this days, if I tried to pick d call, it won't just pick and won't be able to do nothing till it stop ringing. Even if I lock it in d process and unlock it, it only take me back to d call screen which can't be picked also, how can I solved this merged contact am also experiencing.
This exact thing happened on my phone too! Just take a backup of your user apps, I repeat user apps only and gallery, you can as well take backup of your themes and sync your contacts, call history and messages to Mi cloud.
Factory reset the phone and the ish should vanish.

Is dis a follow follow thread, were u swallow every xiaomite word?

I can downgrade u ( other brand) - u can't downgrade me ( xiaomi)

Don't take it personal, we are all users so users talk, compare and contrast

According to Google

The purpose of a compare and contrast is to analyze the differences or the similarities of two distinct subjects e.g Snapdragon/Mtk. A good compare / contrast breakdown doesn't only point out how the subjects are similar or different (or even both!). It uses those points to make a meaningful argument about the subjects.

Technically no one is derailing dis thread
Nobody is stopping anybody from posting anything. But wisdom is required with the direction things are moving to on this thread, and frankly speaking you are not helping matters.
I myself have complained about the Xiaomi Redmi note 4's camera and I still stand by my own personal observation on the matter. The truth is, this particular phone is better overall compared to phones in its price range. Not just in comparison to the Tecnos, Infinix of this world but against other bigger brand's phone in the same price range.

With your skewed analogy, in no time you will start comparing Tecno and Samsung all in the name of proving a point.

Snapdragon is better than MediaTek, and if I see two phones of comparable spec but fitted with either of the mentioned chipset above, with no much thought I will choose the Snapdragon fitted phone. Why? Because it is the better of the two if all aspects are put into consideration and also money.

Modified agian
In fact, why are we arguing sef? Xiaomi themselves have made it easy. Compare their Snapdragon fitted phones and MediaTek ones.

Mtk as always deliver for me, i speak for myself and i can't see wat snapdragon do better dat my Mtk can't surpass

U have indeed spoken well, and sincerely too.
Why not? They can and I hope they should.
But has the ranking stands, putting every aspect into consideration, the likes of Snapdragon, Exynos and even Kirin are better than MediaTek. I didn't add Apple's chipset because it is not utilized in any android phone.

This particular thread was created to dicuss Xiaomi products. We all know comparison will always crop up but we should apply wisdom and not derail the purpose of this thread.
My take is, a Xiaomi snapdragon phone of comparable price with any of the popular phone brands here in Nigeria always has a better core specification, durability and performs better in most situations. Though, for average users the Tecnos, Infinix and the rest should be okay.

Lastly, I would love to ask a question. As avid mobile phone enthusiasts that most of us on this thread are, if you were given $500 to purchase any phone of your choice. My question is, will a MediaTek device be the first to cross your mind before a Snapdragon device?
Before you start giving answers, everything must be used to purchase just one phone and maybe needed accessories.

This is just an hypothesis before any of una MediaTek warriors start to they bash me tongue
