Why are my Xiaomis suffering from lockscreen lag?
It takes many seconds to unlock sometimes with the fingerprint or Power key, and it makes me mad.
Happened with my 4A, now happening with my N4X too.

Help a son of man before he starts crying.

I can't say much about the Redmi 4a. On the Note 4x which I happen to be using the Global version, you should try and clean the surface of the fingerprint sensor from time to time and ensure your digits are clean and moist-free when you try unlocking.
On the software part, clean your trash and ram from time to time, it will help free up some space that will be useful for the system.

You are very correct with the Oneplus 5, and I think he already knows about the missing 3.5mm jack, which might also be missing on the oneplus 5. Well till it gets launched Mi 6 is better, my personal preference is miui first, then others can follow, don't want to port miui on one plus (another personal preference), then I don't like the designs on the one plus series too (also personal).

Yeah, personal preference matters. I initially wanted to get the Redmi 4 pro when it was released because of its compact size and all round spec(ur guy has petite hands and coming from LG G2). And one thing changed that "backlit buttons" I just couldn't accept using a phone with capacitve buttons without backlight, so I ended up with the bigger brother. Yeah!! I am quite choosy like that.
So don't choose Mi6 bcoz it has the latest soc or ceramic body or one of the top dogs. Choose your device by putting all your indices into consideration.

PS: The OnePlus 5 will most def have a 3.5mm jack.

Even though I am a Xiaomi loyalist, putting price into consideration if I were in your shoes I would rather go for the OnePlus 3T. Forget sentiments, it is arguably one of the best device avaible even though it's successor the OnePlus 5 will be officially unveiled this month (June 20).
One of grips I have with the Mi6 is the missing 3.5mm jack, there is no tangible excuse for the omission.
Yeah, the Mi6 is one the latest and the most powerful smartphone presently but you have to ask yourself, "Is it the latest and most powerful phone I want?" or the best customizable phone available with the recent most powerful soc. (you can check Xda if you think am bluffing).
If the latest and greatest is your thing, kindly wait till 20th of this month and check the OnePlus 5 out.
*U can compare the two phones on gsmarena.com and check out some youtube videos.

Note: these are my personal opinions.

NAVIFORCE, but I think some other brands use similar design just (different names e.g curren, skmei) this may be due to the fact that one factory does the manufacturing for all.
You can also check out Megir, Bobo, Eyki etc. Personally I will go with NAVIFORCE anyday any time due to my positive experience with their product.

A little improvement sha. I am not trying to discourage pple from getting this sweet phone, just want you to not expect wonders from the camera. I believe software can still be tweaked to improve the output.
I still can't get enough of the battery and the
performance has been buttery smooth eversince. I am just wondering how smooth and battery efficient the Mi Max 2 will be , if not for the size, a phone with exactly the same spec and the same camera and the same build with just 5.5" screen would be hard not to consider.

Sincerely the camera is not itz best selling point. It performs poorly in low light (both front and back). The best you can do is move to a better lit environment especially during daytime or use the editing tool to tweak the pic a bit.

I will always give this answer, the camera is okay under good lighting condition i.e. Daytime pic taken in a well lit environment. The lowlight pic are below average if u ask me.
This is actually the case for most of all this tecno, infinix and the likes, maybe just a few exception sha.

Visit aliexpress.com or download the app, just search for the phone directly with the name. You will actually be doing ursef alot of good if you get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 global version with snapdragon.
For the above version there is a 3/32gb and 4/64gb option.
Take note of Xiaomi Online store, Dreami Store and SmartGo store. The listed sellers are the most used as far as I know.
Multiply whatever you see in $ by 370 atleast, take note of the different packages and shipping fee.

That will only happen in special promo cases, the seller will indicate (+xiaomi earphone). You can check aliexpress, I remember seeing something like that a while back but don't get your hopes too high sha.
Xiaomi phones are already too cheap to be adding those accessories from factory.

Based on some earlier reply you should add a little to your budget and get the Redmi Note 4(x) Snapdragon.
*The camera is okay in good lighting condition but don't expect wonders in lowlight, most phones perform poorly here.
*There is a 3GB ram 32GB storage option and a recent 4GB ram 64GB option, you should knw the 4/64 version will be more expensive.
*The charging time will not win any awards but the battery endurance is one of the best out there presently.

Apology to the house, I should have posted this earlier but this @vintino brouhaha dey weak man! I collected my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (global 3/32gb) from the General Post Office along Airport road here in Benin this last monday after getting a call same day from them. Paid #500 handling fee. Funny thing is that I got another call for my tempered glass next day I still dey wait for case wey dem ship before the tempered glass.

Phone review
*The one issue is that I have not been able to deplete the battery (somebody should help ooo!!)
*The camera is just okay, nothing special. The lowlight images are seriously below average.
*If u have petite hands like my humble self, the size will take a getting use to (coming from an LG G2 user, mehn! I miss dat phone sha!) I think the Redmi Note 3 scores a higher point when it comes to handling.

Please is their anyone in the know of other agencies that can be contacted to report these kind of issues. NIPOST no get any social media presence ni?

As a form of advice for newbies, potential and seasoned buyers I will implore us to start doing our unboxing video right there in the Post Office. If possible go with another person to help you do the video recording also include a voice over stating what condition the products were received and quoting some important information received earlier from seller.

This is really disheartening, after waiting several days for your item one idiot go come remove am, leave empty box unto say na im sharp pass!
And dem go still collect illegal handling fee ooo! Plus extra tips!
