Hello house , I find it difficult to establish WhatsApp on my MI max2 Fone. Anytime I get to d point where I need to input my number for verification , it keep saying something is wrong with your version of whatapp and I Shud download d latest version from playstore ,which I ve done severally. Pls do anybody knows d solution?

I read on a credible site that Xiaomi store which is connected to their whole cloud system kindoff mistakenly uploaded an old beta version of Whatsapp. I think they've removed it and an update should be in the works.
If the issue persist, find the latest version of GBWhatsApp and install till further notice. (I'm not sure this particular suggestion will rectify the ish though)

I think say na only me oo! funny thing be say na the compulsory 72 hrs I bin dey wait to finally unlock bootloader.
I don download almost everything downloadable join Miflash, Mi PC suite, magisk, twrp etc. One tutorial must work.
Dem go hear am! we go gather use this GCam ni.

My humble opinion on this Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's camera matter is that the sensor is very okay but Xiaomi's algorithm is very very shitty evident from samples gotten with the use of the GCam mod.
I initially made up my mind not to root but as it stands me I can't miss the awesomeness of the GCam mod.
For me the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's camera as it is on my phone is not okay and I am not necessarily comparing with other phones.

Nobody should be attacked based on their opinion on what they bought with their hard earned money and if you must kindly do constructively.

And we must also put in mind this is a public forum, it is nobody's own except 'Seun' who created it

Conclusion; if you ain't okay with the camera output, find a way to tweak the phone by following instructions succinctly to avoid stories that touch.

If it comes with the original china stable rom and not some crappy rom installed by resellers, you should stay on that rom cos it has more features than the Global stable rom. For Google playstore; install google installer and get other google apps there.

10% per hour is kinda poor for a redmi note 4 with snapdragon 625 in my opinion.

I use a redmi note 3 with a snapdragon 650 processor which is more battery hungry and I still get about 8.5% per hour With always on 4g mobile data

My calculation was manual, so my battey endurance might be better than yours if properly checked.
And I get something a little better than your present SOT when my battery fall to that particular level i.e. 53%.

And we have to put into consideration other indices that have effect on battery endurance like usage pattern, signal strength, temperature and frequency in change of location.

To people refusing to update to MiUi 9 na jonzing una dey.
The battery life of my Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon Global 3/32gb has never been this excellent.
Funny thing is that I had same phobia for a while coz I updated from MiUi 8.2.2.0 directly to MiUi 9.0.3.0 and the phone is presently on MiUi 9.0.5.0.
The battery reduction averages 10% per hour. It was way worse on MiUi 8 coz I remember I had to switch on battery saver to squeeze tangible endurance out of the battery.
And did I mention MiUi 9 is way smoother and additional features I can't possibly remember presently.

One of my childish friend on a group posted that rubbish, most member's phone hanged. You just have to wait till you get to the message and delete it. Your whatsapp will bring up the 'not responding status' just press 'wait' and scroll to the message to delete.

To answer your intended question; Note 4 global compared to Note 4x, if you are going to be utilizing smile 4g network, the Note 4 Global should be your choice and probably just to have those two additional 4G bands that may come in handy when you never expected.

I am not trying to take us back but I feel on this @guydangerous case, we should learn to give people benefit of doubt. You can never be sure what others are currently passing through no matter how it seem to appear to us.

I have done that with my Redmi Note 4 Global and the audio quality was horrible. So which of the Xiaomi models are you referring to?

You should rather update manually direct to MiUi 9.
I personally updated straight from MiUi 8.2.2.0.
No waste your data, just make sure you follow the steps succinctly.
