look at some of these Yoruba bashers acting like they've ever had to cross such a bridge before.

i bet you if akwa ibom people were given a choice to remain in Akwa Ibom under Akpabio or move to Lagos and taste real development, that the only people left in Eket would be mobil staff

Nairaland General › Re: Feminism - Why Women In General (especially Black Women) Have Been Duped By It!! by scribble: 7:09pm On Oct 25, 2013
pleep: Because it is your fault, black women have always pawned their lack of self control and promiscuity on black men and i am sick of it.

First off women have like 14 different means of contraception while men only have only 2. You can use birth control, the pill, the patch, abortion, adoption bla bla bla. Yet you say the responsibility is 50/50. Give me a fuckin break, if i man has unwilling sex with you with no condom that is legal r.ape but what can a man do if you don't tell him you are off the pill? nothing.

Secondly, there are more than double the unmarried black mothers than fathers. That means a huge number of black women are irresponsible enough to have children out of wedlock while only a few men are contributing. A woman can always find a man to get her pregnant, 1 guy can impregnate 30 women if you let him.

That is because you have the control of reproduction. Use it and stop pawning your responsibilities on us, its not 50/50.
i'm a guy and u sound retarded. if u dont love the beech, then dont stick the ding a ling in it and abscond when she gets pregnant. We men have the easiest form of contraception, not fuc.king the broad or strapping up with a CD.

women by nature are nuturing and caring, men are ambitious and restless innately. women should ensure they have a man that is willing to settle down with them and not just succumb to sweet nothings for the sake of love and affection. even these feminists fall. there are a lot of disgruntled women everywhere that are a testament to this fact.

we men should exercise better judgment, as for the feminist movement, when they;re tired of being single they will drop their hard hats and come holler or let selves be hollered at. too many fish in the sea to have my boxers in a grunch over some woman that doesnt know what time it is. she can have that.

When Ojukwu was alive did any of the relatives made this claim as well?

Odimegwu is dead and they should allow him to REST IN PEACE....
property doesnt even belong to the late ojukwu, his father Sir Louis Ojukwu put that property in Ojukwu Transport Company so his children wouldnt fight. The company owns those properties, not the Biafran warman or Bianca.

Politics › Re: The Fashola Vs Akpabio Thread. by scribble: 11:24am On Sep 15, 2013
I would not blame Governor Akpabio who in his recent interview with The NATION newspaper, was proud to passionately say that present Uyo is now looking like Ojuelegba because he may have lived most of his past working years in Lagos and probably what fascinated him most is Ojuelegba flyover. His administration is presently constructing, at the entrance of Uyo City, flyover that is similar to the one at Ojuelegba.

To me, Ojuelegba is not a place one should be proud of. It does not have esthetics; it is very rowdy; its flyover is not attractive or spaghetti in nature, therefore nothing fantastic about it; probably because it also accommodates the Lagos terminal of Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) buses hence the governor wanted to reproduce it with such a passion and again at what cost?

Whatever informed His Excellency’s view, majority would insist that we do not want Uyo to be like Ojuelegba; flyover is supposed to clear traffic hold-ups and we seem not to have a chaotic situation yet in Uyo to warrant the flyover as a priority. What we may need are pedestrian walkovers and development of the long plotted outer ring-roads within Uyo, the Akwa Ibom capital City. This would drive development evenly and traffic to Uyo periphery.

In Nigeria today, Akwa Ibom has the most decent, modern, greened and peaceful Motor Parks which travelers to Uyo always testify to. The serenity there would not allow breeding of criminals most often associated with ordinary Motor Parks. We need to maintain these. Ojuelegba in Lagos has unorganized Motor Parks of all shapes and colours and features Lagos terminal of AKTC.

Among the things that made Lagos commercial in nature were the development of seaports and airports. Akwa Ibom being at the dead end of the Nigerian map would grow faster if our Ibom Airport/Hangar and Ibaka Seaport are developed, instead of Ojuelegba type of flyover. While the airport project is still crawling, the Ibaka seaport is still on the drawing board. Now we are getting much more from the federation account.

FreeGlobe: Pictures of uncommon transformation? You need to visit Akwa Ibom to feel it or you must be lying to yourself, here is what David Mark the Senate president said after visiting Akwa Ibom referring to Fashola:

Some governors’ (Fashola) claims of achievements are propaganda – Mark

http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/07/28/some-governors-claims-of-achievements-are-propaganda-mark/
I'vee been to uyo and eket. U guys have villages and not towns and certainly not cities. Comparing lagos and akwa ibom is a fools errand and. That is why we should actually be ignoring you akpabio propagandists. Yaba is more developed than anywhere in aks.

Akpabio said he ws inspired during the time he lived in surulere. That's why he builds flyover bridge where there is need ffor none.

U guys only carry 1st in child abuse a la child witch saga, political kidnapping and violence, cooking the best soup bar none and beer parlour worship. syocphancy is also an area where u guys r world champs.

Akpabio don thief $ sote, his relation, prince akpabio was once caught laundeering billions. Prince goes to clubs and sexually harasses women.

Wait do u clowns think that if a presidential election held, akpabio would have a tenth as many votes as fasholahuh??
Country bumpkins tryna be city slickers! Una go old o.
Politics › Re: The Fashola Vs Akpabio Thread. by scribble: 9:29am On Sep 15, 2013
software man: First, you started from a false premise: the cost of recurrent expenditure in Lagos versus the cost of recurrent expenditure in akwa ibom state.
Let me use simple analogy to explain: it is like comparing Libya with a population of 8m and nigeria with a population of 120 million, even if they have comparable resources, anybody that wants to do a comparative analysis of two things should understand that you have to establish clear benchmarks to do your analysis.
So I intend to do my comparison using recurrent and capital generally and then going beyond just roads and cover all areas of government services.
I also intend to provide proof in a subsequent post that akwa ibom has not implemented 30 percent of the infrastructure fashola has implemented in lagos. I will take you from education to health care delivery, to security to transportation, etc.

My first premise is however that the basis of comparison is not even there because no other state in nigeria has to contend with the peculiarity of lagos state and can be compared with Lagos, definitely not akwa ibom.

For example, and please you verify this,
the cost of maintaining health care in Lagos alone we build all the infrastructure in akwa ibom .
The cost of paying teacher s in lagos is more than akwa ibom total commitment for the entire akwa ibom in six months. The cost of maintaining federal roads in Lagos is fourty times the cost of doing same in akwa ibom
This is just recurrent expem

Now since you have provided of roads built by akpabio , let me then assume that you want to proceed from the premise of infrastru
Foreign investors are comparing lagos to countries like ghana and kenya based on population dynamics and investment opportunities.

Yet some drunken SS lads are here comparing AKS to Lagos. The value of land in one street in banana island can buy ewet housing nd all the stolen monies within.
