And the thing is that his best mate  the man is a senate in Abuja, came from that town,

bros think of it this way, you guys have a long line of negative examples:

1. killing Sultan of Sokoto (suicidal move,, thank God for grace)
2. secession attempt (fueled by the delusions of grandeur of Ojukwu, he just wanted to be great, didnt care about y'all, hence his fleeing to Ivory Coast in d thick of battle)
3. the fact that this OSU nonsense is still going on till tomorrow

A lot of our women have turned gays for the following reason:

1. Western influences, like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, NIcki Minaj and Rihanna who all cater to Lesbian ideals by using their music and visual arts to showcase that "Lesbianism is okay"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_icon

2. Pornography

3. Heart break and stories of heart break

4. Peer pressure

Lesbianism is something else in the south south though especially Oil towns, I know it will be all dem Chevron, Shell and co expats that turned our girls out with money, drugs and videotapes.
Business › Trustworthy Fundmanagers In Nigeria by scribble(op): 5:26pm On Feb 12, 2012
Guys I am starting this thread because there are a lot of untrustworthy fund managers, mutual funds, pension funds etc in Nigeria. A lot of these people have savvy marketing techniques but at the end of the day are only after their own interest and not the client.

Some of the new fund managers in the country may have Harvard MBA's, they may have worked for some of the best investment banks and consulting companies in the world. However integrity is not a skill that can be learned in the classroom.

Some of the fund managers I know that can be trusted in Nigeria are:

1. Stanbic IBTC Asset Managers
2. ARM

Please add to the tally, also if you know any fund managers that cannot be trusted, please state their information as well.

Thanks guys, save somebody's financial future today.

its really sad, these girls gather round the TV and watch E! and other nonsense, and think the solution to their problem is to become fairer. After which the world will revolve around them, Ben Bruce will give them a KIA and M-Net will give them a reality show.

Some of the finest women are not fair, think Iman, Tyra Banks, Nia Long, Jennifer Hudson, etc etc etc

It's a psychological thing I think the onset of which when girls are in primary school and they see that light skinned girls get all the attention, which is a phase us guys go through until we get older and notice what really makes a woman fine.

I think women that bleach have deep psychological issues and should be referred to Yaba Left for counseling.

Politics › Nigeria’s Political Elite Compete With Saudi Arabia, Russia Over London shopping by scribble(op): 11:04am On Feb 06, 2012
According to an investigative report carried out by British Newspaper, The London Evening Standard, Nigerians are emerging some of the biggest spenders on luxury goods in the High End of London.

The report entitled, “Hey big spender: the shopping capital of the world”, details the prowess of the political elite when it comes to popping tags off anything from designer wares to luxury kitchen utensils on shopping sprees in the UK.

Nigerians are placed in the same peer group as Brazilians, Russians, Indians and Chinese.

The report quotes a diamond jeweler Theo Fennell as he stated, “We used to be so reliant on Americans, then it was the Japanese and Americans, then the Middle East. Now, it’s increasingly about the BRIC countries [Brazil, Russia, India and China]. It maps the shifting world order – and we’re very grateful they’re coming here.”

Then the investigative reporter goes on to document, “But it’s more than just the Chinese: London is still a hit with Middle Eastern and Russian shoppers and is attracting an increasing number from oil-rich Brazil and Nigeria.”

The report actually cites Nigerians as the third biggest spenders in the luxury retail segment of London, stating that Nigerians spend an average of £ 1,648 per transaction. That is NGN 411,821 in local currency. The report states Nigerians awash with oil wealth like to unwind by shopping till they drop in the UK.

According to the same report, Brazil and Russia both spend less than £ 1,000 each. The Chinese spend    £ 1,310, Saudi Arabia spends the most with £ 1,974. Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates spend £ 1,780 and £ 1,267 respectively.

The report quotes Selfridges, a major luxury department store in the United Kingdom as stating Nigerians shop all year round in their stores.

“In February last year, sales to Nigerians were up 50 per cent in London shops on a year earlier, while overall in 2011 Selfridges says their spending was up by over a quarter and that Nigerians have been among its top 10 overseas shoppers for the past five years.

On their shopping lists: Suits and formalwear but also jewellery, cosmetics and childrenswear.

Labels include Paul Smith, Gucci, Prada, Chanel and Rolex while Vertu phones are a popular purchase. Although they trust established brands, they are also happy to buy across the price spectrum – hence Debenhams started putting signs up in Hausa, the language spoken by 45 million West Africans.

Their top time to shop: all year round – a consistent presence in our stores.”

It borders on insensitivity that there is so much capital flight from our National Treasury to the United Kingdom, especially considering the fact that Nigeria ranks amongst one of the most poverty stricken countries on the roll call of big spenders in London, falling far behind, in developmental terms, China, Russia, Brazil and India whose Gross Domestic Products (GDPs) are $ 5.8 trillion, $1.48 trillion, $2.09 trillion, and $1.73 trillion respectively. In comparison Nigeria’s GDP is $193.67 billion, about a tenth of the size of Russia. However what Nigeria lacks in terms of development, it makes up for in shopping.

There has been a lot of outcry in recent times against the looting of our commonwealth by the political elite via the usual channels of crass looting, oil and gas corruption, constituency projects funding diversion, inflation of contracts, and over-bloated compensation packages for public servants.

Nigerians recently protested against government insensitivity to the wide income gap between the politically connected and average Nigerians. In response, government has not shown any sign of cutting its expenditure and in a country where the people are quick to forget the sins of their leaders, it is not to be unexpected that these crimes will also soon be forgotten, and the halls of Selfridges will be brimming with “big spenders” in no time. cool cool

I was headed to Araba's near Yaba and I saw a crowd swarming near a gutter, the crowd consisted of mostly Okada men and some youth that had been playing soccer. Some women watched from a distance. I drove closer and saw a man near the gutter, bleeding from the head and face, and I parked to see what had been happening, if the guy needed medical attention etc.

The crowd was chuckling and laughing and calling him a thief. Further inquiries led me to learn, he had stolen an okada and deserved the jungle justice.
I asked the crowd to leave him alone and let him be since he had already suffered enough. The man could not speak and was shaking, he had been beaten into the gutter, and his head and body wounds were obviously soon-to-be infected. He had been beaten into shock, planked in the head etc.

There were about 30-50 able bodied men present. After some stern faced pleading, they let the guy go, he could barely walk.

I then asked the crowd, why they would be beating this man instead of taking their protests to the filling stations in the neoghborhood that were selling fuel at close to N 150. They told me that its not like that, that they were afraid of government. When I asked why they do not beat thieving politicians like this and instead hail them and egg them on, they said politicians have strong medicine.

A lot of these guys were illiterate, Nigerians pour out their frustrations on the common man, whilst our real enemy, the thieving political elite, go scot free.

I predict that there will be increase in crime, murder etc as a result of this fuel hike.

http://www.islamic-intelligence..com/2011/11/french-israelis-behind-aqim-and.html?m=1

excerpts:

In Nigeria, Terrorism is the Rough Version

This organization, call it “globalist” if you want, began orchestrating war in Yemen a bit ago after failing to set war against Iran into motion through incidents in Bahrain and the Persian Gulf.
The “Al Qaeda franchise” in Yemen represents an “understanding” between the current government, the CIA and Mossad to create a simulated terrorist environment as “deception and cover” for a series of other activities in the region.
There is now, nor has there ever been an organized “pan-Islamic” terrorist presence in Yemen though one has been “simulated” through misleading reports, “false flag” terror and a theatre of “counter-terrorist” activities, drone attacks and such, for no purpose other than to provide a base of operations for a global criminal enterprise.

What we are seeing now in Nigeria is part of the same strategy, one that has included attacks on a physical scale, currency manipulation and now a staged move against Africa, which will be combined with attempts to exploit the vulnerabilities of the Arab Spring, new players, new governments and new greed.
Key Nigerians ripe for bribery are making this possible. They are aware they are bringing about the destruction of their own nation, they simply don’t care. The attitude there is “every man for himself.” Another way of describing those currently in power, including and especially officials in counter-terrorism and security is “rats abandoning a sinking ship.”
In all fairness, the U.S. has a similar elitist clique of politicians, special interest multi-nationals, some of whom have their own intelligence resources that rival most countries.
The terror group, Boko Haram, is real but in its current formation, it is a proxy of outside powers who plan to Balkanize Nigeria, simply another domino to fall as have so many others.

These Folks are Looking Forward to a Lifetime Career of Fighting

As with any group seeking redress, Boko Haram has been hijacked and is now being directed from within, from without as is the Nigerian government that will be fighting it.
What is playing out, though all are ready to “go through the motions” otherwise, is far more about drugs than anything else. The Nigerians don’t yet know this or those hands that are out would be more aggressive.

Nigeria, a great playing field, largest in Africa, is the southern flank of an operation that is much more than simply stolen oil revenue and inscrutable games about gas pipelines that never come online.
Drugs are perfection. If you produce narcotics, you control the land, if you transit narcotics, you control the authorities, if you sell narcotics, you control the courts, the police and, of course, the government itself.

Arms and oil count, money is still worth counterfeiting, oil worth stealing but all this is so “yesterday.”
The real world struggle today is narco-driven, fought from the Kyber Pass to the Mexico-Arizona border and all lands in between. Nigerians who think “tribal” or “ethnic” will die “regional” and “global,” perhaps by the millions.
This is all little but theatre. The US bought a ticket to a play staged in Afghanistan and has found themselves unable to find the exit. This one will be quieter as this is Africa, it will be black people killing black people. Few will notice, fewer will care. Those with a stake notice, they care, but their agenda has no room for human life.
