Romance › Re: Are Women Really This Demanding? by scribble(op): 5:50pm On Aug 23, 2015
Xiadnat:
Scribble:

These are immature men with arrested development. No good man will keep mistresses after another "good" woman have stayed and seen him rise thru the ranks. These kinds are bad blood to begin with but masked by their poverty only for their true nature to be unraveled with a little green paper rubbish.

Men and women are wired differently. We complement each other that way. Men have their own baggage too. Maturity is recognizing we are all fallen imperfect creatures with hang-ups and learn to manage ourselves.
In a perfect world, your theory would hold steady but out chea on these streetz things empirically are a little bit different

I've seen it myself...there are many "good" women out there that are willing to hold a man down in different manner of speak, and therein lies the problem with the equation, "how many good men are out there too?"

Well due to increasing female standards of higher aspirations, the perfect man is in a romance novel or movie somewhere...so even for the patient man, the honest man who wants to do right, he also begins to hunger for more and there in lies the most tragic love story on all planet Earth

So maybe if women would lower their standards and be less demanding, societies problems will reduce and then again maybe not but we know nobody is willing to die and everybody wants to get to heaven

Xiadnat:
I like to think I am a low maintainance chic. But, I would like a partner in crime. Tit for tat. You do me, I do you. You do you. I do me.
Relationships are suppose to be built on the premise of partnerships. Period.
Men should help around the house some. Women could go out and bring home some dough or kill a bear or something....
Some couple could work out expectations, roles. That's why you marry stable character like integrity and discipline and not looks.
Character is pervasive, physical looks change in a twinkle of any eye. I am a clean freak, the guy I marry will have to know that and accommodate or else it becomes a source of constant "nagging". See what I mean?
If men (and women) choose life mates wisely, then the probability of getting nagged is remarkedly reduced.
To maintain a happy relationship is work. After-all, no man slacks off at work and expect not to get repercussions such as getting fired.
Why not see your intimate relationships as a form of work? Do the things you do at your job to avoid getting sacked, but instead do it at home to avoid getting nagged.
I really don't like the idea of nagging. I hate being the recipient and I hate being the sender.
The battle of the sexes ie battle for equality will wage on forever it is a classic class war and struggle. psychological tower of babel that serves a very entertaining purpose and a democratic one some would argue.

So what if you're a clean freak, manage your expectations!!!!!!!! what if your prince charming is a litter bug will you send him back to his family to learn to pick up after himself...think of how much fun it would be simply picking up after him

Can you imagine an albert einstein or a thomas edison wife pestering him about where he left his draws, do you think we would have theory of relativity or Nairaland today?

That is why the type of woman that is more attractive to marry is a woman who is more submissive, and asserts herself with high level of wisdom....men will FOREVER forget about the bride price for these type of women even if they have to put her on layaway

Thats my two cents!

Xiadnat:
You think maybe men have something to do with the state of "nagging" with women.

I actually do NOT enjoy so called "nagging". I would rather not nag. I would do anything but Nag. But sometimes in order to keep 'order' and a form of 'godliness' in the home, a woman's got to speak up. If that's nagging, then, I don't every wanna not nag.

Perhaps, men need to step up their game. If they want to not be nagged... stay on the defense instead of offense. Nag-block before it hits the net. Get the point?

Yes you heard it here first. I coined "nag block" that woman in your life faster than the speed of light. angry
i love the way our little dialogue is now illustrating what the picture has to say especially with you admitting that women always deman a stepped up game, they want to keep up with their idea of what is perfect as told to them by their peers, bosses, society, linda ikeji, or whomever and men just have to step up to keep in sync with what a womans idea of that perfection is because women dont want to settle for less

and traditionally when a man is tired of all these, he moves on to the next one or just stays off women like the plague so he can maybe try to retain his life or his sanity

there are levels of men out there, obviously not all can keep up, and those who can secretly resent their women for this unless the man is somehow psychologically wired to be able to understand that maybe the wife is there nagging so he can manifest destiny or something snazzy like that

So, are you saying I nag every day then? Hm..
i'm not pointing fingers at you...

i was just referring to the old time honoured ancient tradition of women asking men to do things incessantly, even downright annoyingly in most cases

many refer to it as nagging

But not all women nag, I concur....its just something about the statistics thats not in your/yall favor
Romance › Re: Are Women Really This Demanding? by scribble(op): 3:07pm On Aug 23, 2015
Xiadnat:
Oh? what do I do every single day again?
women are prone to nagging....they are insatiable...once you fulfill all their wishes, they want more

it actually helps to keep a hustling young man on his toes and make sure he achieves success but its still nagging

which is why as men rise through the financial ranks, they usually have a harem of current or past mistresses

because its really not that hard to please a man, just have a phat butt, know how to blow and hook a steak up

Politics › Re: Fixed Charges, Bulk Metering: NERC Bows To Senate by scribble: 2:24pm On Aug 23, 2015
Op it's called spacing, learn about it

Following a resolution passed by the Senate over indiscriminate billing, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has directed the electricity Distribution Companies to urgently restructure their fixed charges in order to ensure no Nigerian is made to pay for electricity not consumed.

The Discos have also been directed to discontinue the practice of bulk metering.

The Senate had in its resolution following a motion by Senators Sam Egwu (Ebonyi North) and David Umaru (Niger East), entitled: “Unfair trade practices of Electricity Distribution Companies in Nigeria,” decried the fleecing of Nigerians by Discos through fixed charges and bulk metering among others.

The upper chamber had directed NERC to immediately abolish fixed charges on electricity consumption, bulk metering of villages and communities.

The lawmakers specifically ordered the NERC to immediately stop the collection of fixed charges as well as ensure that the people are not made to pay for energy not consumed.

The Commission in a seven-page response to the Senate’s query last week said it had asked the distribution companies to find a way to restructure the fixed charges such that no one would be made to pay for electricity not consumed.

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NERC, Sam Amadi, who signed the letter to the Senate, a copy of which is available on the Commission’s website, regarding the fixed charges by Discos, said though the fixed charges collected was not illegal, the Commission had been able to intervene in the matter.

Amadi said: “In recognition of the negative impact of the fixed charge, the commission has held several public consultations to ascertain a measure that will guarantee financial viability in the industry and not expose consumers to paying for electricity not consumed.

“Based on the intervention of the Commission, the distribution companies have agreed to find a way to restructure the fixed charge such that a consumer who does not receive electricity supply does not pay the fixed charge.

“This remodeling of the fixed charge will be part of the ongoing tariff review process being conducted by the distribution companies.

“NERC will continue to ensure that whatever model is presented for its approval is fair and reasonable, and ensures the survival of the new electricity market and improves quality of supply to consumers.”

On the vexed issue of bulk metering of customers, the Commission said it is totally in agreement with the Senate on the need to eliminate the sharp practice.
It said it supports the Senate’s position that electricity consumers be metered individually, even as it urged customers to reject community bulk metering.
Amadi said: “The Commission agrees with the Senate’s position on the need to eliminate the practice of bulk billing residential customers and replace the practice with individual metering and billing.

“It is important to state that the Commission had previously abolished bulk billing in its ruling on the VGC Case NO: NERC/H/03/07. The case was brought by a customer against the VGC Estate Management and the Eko Electricity Distribution Company in 2008. The Commission ruled in favour of the customer.

“The decision of the Commission stipulated that every customer is expected to be metered individually irrespective of the status of supply coming into the area and the class of billing should be on R2 or as appropriately determined by Disco.”

Amadi added that the Commission has however provided a leeway for estimation in situations where residential meters are not provided to customers.
“This is provided in the Estimated Billing Methodology Regulation of the Commission,” he said.

He added: “Communities who are placed on bulk billing should reject it and insist on individual metering. The Commission is in the process of completing public consultation on a proposal to cap the amount an unmetered customer can pay until he or she is metered.

“The proposal will also commit distribution companies to strict deadline for metering of all its customers. In the interim, the Commission has abolished connection of new customers without meters.”

My Island Girl

On this island, lonliness knew my name.
On this island, no one felt my pain.
I roamed the earth - a lone-ranger seeking that which was lost. For eons i moaned and wept.... Until mine eye's beheld a ray of hope - a Diamond in the rough.

Out of my rib, our maker carved YOU - a reflection of ME, a Masterpiece work of art with hips so THICK & a face so PRETTY that it made the goddess Aphrodite herself green with envy. I called you PRETTYTHICKSME - My Island Girl smiley

You've made me whole again and in your eye's my darling, i found a sweet escape.
I've secretly longed to call you MY OWN.
I've secretly longed to be in your loving embrace as our bodies connects - soul to soul i'll lay my head on your bossoms to listen to the sweet melody produced by the rythm of your heartbeat.
With each stroke of your hair my love, i'll pledge my love and loyalty to you - the Empress of my heart, the pillar of my home, the woman of my Life. smiley
Within you, I lost myself. Without you,
I found myself wanting to be lost again.

Please say you'll stay, please say you'll be with me on this Island. I've waited all my life just to fall inlove with you.
If I have to spend my life without
you, I’d be forced to spend my life without
a part of me. You’re so much of me that
loving you is not a matter of choice, It’s
what I do, what I am and what I live for.

My Island Girl... Please Stay With Me... sad

I wont let Go, I promise sadsadsad. I Love U.

I really hope she let's u smash that sooner than later playa
