President Tinubu didn't know the politics Medical Doctors played here. Everyone knows that the Medical Laboratory Scientists are number one enemy of the Pathologists(Medical Doctors that specialised in Laboratory Medicine). The Pathologists feel the Hospital Laboratory is exclusively for them, as they should head it and direct the affairs, while Medical Lab Scientists should be under them and serve them. On the other hand, the Medical Laboratory Scientists feel the lab is their home as they do not have any say in another area of the hospital and see Pathologists as intruders. Now, President Tinubu made a Pathologist who wants Medical Lab Scientists to be eliminated from the hospital environment as the chairman of the Board of the regulatory body. This means the game plan of Medical Doctors is working as they have used the Minister who is their member to impose someone who has no business with MLSCN. I hope President Tinubu understands the politics here and correct the anomaly.
