So I have been hearing about Fiverr for a while now ( along while actually, I have 4 accounts before this)


After reading this thread I created an account which was a mistake because of the Nigerian IP which got me ZERO sales. So this morning I decided to try again and try something different from what is being taught here, I created a US acount and searched google for the 'cutest girl in the world LOL. I used the pic as my DP and guess what..........I used it as my gig images too (crazy right?). After all that I went straight to the "Fun and Bizarre" section and copy a few gigs to start with.....funny enough just 8 minutes later I got an order for my gig with the title " I will chat with you on Facebook"...funny what a white man would pay for...I chatetd with the woman for about 20 minutes and she dropped a 5 star review on my head..currently processing second order.


Don't give up just yet..It's time for you to blow with Fiverr

Just to assist my oga (Khassy) small. Time too tight. My observation: your skill should correlate with what you are offering. why music as skill when you offer digital market and proofreading? Your education background should be related to your service. May be English, computer secience, Marketing etc. No mind my oyinbo...in haste

So I have been hearing about fiverr for long but thought it was a hell of difficult task. On the 31st of July I found this thread and sat down to read from page 1 to last. I didn't sleep that night. On first of August I stormed fiverr and created www.fiverr.com/oliwrites I just knew I was heading for the kill. My first encouragement was when I asked for a review here and got all the heads up like 'guy your profile standard die.' So I got my first order which I never completed yet the guy paid $10 and gave me 5 star. (you will recall when I begged for help with landing page. Lol. Then I bought one review from one beauty(something) here. After her review every other thing was a hit back to back.

That account has earned me up to 100k within a space of two weeks. I have also become a level one seller today. I get orders everyday. Not just $5 ooo. I mean orders....​
Thanks​to the OP for the push. Heading for Level two soonest. I'm grateful to every other person here.

Awesome tip again above. Well this thread has given me a reason to start my own brand and registered too. TshirtRiches Nigeria has begun various designs and all started from reading here. I now tutor people on my website at a fee and have my own online shop for my products which has started receiving orders.

I am so happy I am a part of this thread. Although I studied more. The next level is learning how to sow. I am gradually buildin workers.

it is not all about getting 2yrs program,but dont' go and opt for a lower program level below ur Bsc/BEng just to meet up for the above stated criterion.pick good meaningful programs related to your background that have employable prospects and lucrativeness both home and abroad.

Actually am a bit amused myself that you don't know why people want out of this country.

It's quite simple.

Uncertainty.

As young minds, even if we have great ideas to start up a business, there's no friendly environment to nurture such business ideas.

All of us cannot be civil servants in this country; even the various govts have failed repeatedly to renumerate civil servants for work done.

Most private establishments have been driven to a point where they can no longer function effectively not to talk of recruiting new employees. Nigerian universities roll out thousands of graduates yearly, less than 29% get employed in the first year after graduation and even those who got lucky find themselves doing what they are not trained to do. You'd see a physicist working in the bank. Mehn it's very unfortunate.

The economy is crashing daily. And apparently we have a govt that is actively fighting corruption while other sectors are failing fantastically. Sometimes I am tempted to even think that we'd be better off with corruption..cos apparently and arguably, life was so much better with corruption being the order of the day.

I am not surprised; cos a govt that came in using propaganda, would be tempted to rule using cheap propagandas. We were not careful and specific with the kind of change we prayed for. Look where it has gotten us to. Smh

Apparently, It is economically prudent to make forex available to people going for vacations and luxurious trips buh it's a serious economic wastage to make forex available to investors, students, marketers. People who will actually add or contribute more to our economy.

A bag of rice is same with minimum wage.

Anyway I am actually confident that this country will be great eventually buh I seriously doubt if the set of politicians we have in Nigeria today will actually pilot us to our great destination. We play politics of interest rather than politics of ideology.

Our politicians are shameless. They change party like they change their underwear.

Am curious; is it that these parties don't have ideologies/principle?
