macuwon:Just do you man. There are different paths into the US via the education system. Don’t listen to some these know it alls on here. Everybody’s path can’t be the same. My advise to you is to look for schools in midwestern US. Stay away from the big cities, unless you’re rich of course. Best of luck. |
AdebolaNG:I just came across this. I understand the guy’s point of view. I believe it’s coming from plane of ignorance. Community colleges are not mushroom schools. I know about 12 Nigerians that came into the US through the CC system. It works, just not for everybody. |
wetin u Yan na fact but wetin matter for schools in the US na accreditation. Not if they're nice or good..another thing na wetin u fit afford, if not you go turn homeless overnight and I dey refer to people wey Dem folks no fit afford to help with money...wey dey come to fend for themselves...whether na love abi marriage or skills, any path wey lead to legitimate success na wetin matter...na my personal opinion be this ooo lordeoregon: |
Yeah na legit igbo marriage, we dey prep for igba nkwu this year yemiosinbajo: |
he was married, but he started the program during OPT yemiosinbajo: |
it's all luck, and the consular agent mood, even Havard admission no guarantee visa for this trump regime LagosismyHome: |
Hi guys, in 2015 I been post about a friend wey wan enter US through the community college system and a lot of guys in the house had negative comments about the whole thing. Some of them give legit reasons out of ignorance, cos wetin person no know him no know. I just wan update them in case them still dey here dey give advice...2015 the guy got the admission to study nursing in rural America, visa was approved in May 2015, started prerequisites as soon as him enter, 2018 got ASN registered nurse, 2019 after 1year online BS got BSN, now he's in a DNP program which will last approx 3 years, married and Got his green card approved last month...green application card took 3 months. I dey share this for all the dreamers with legit reasons to migrate to 1st world countries, no let anybody wey dey form I too know ruin your dreams. My story don finish, make una wey be advicers for this forum no dey trample on people dreams because Dem share am for advice, so give advice not shove your opinions down Dem throat. Naija for life, stay true to the hustle guys. |
Affects visa types wey be say u fit change status from, F1 is under that category, so na to pray make e no affect am. Nobody knows for sure |
@victor4u....prerequisites for nursing depends on path...LPN...ADN...BSN..since it's a community college, that means the LPN and ADN....prereqs are algebra...anatomy and physiology 1&2, psychology, English comp 1 etc....not a lot but requires you study hard cos getting into the program is competitive, so good GPA goes a long way when it comes to placement...about jobs, it depends on the state you're going to...texas is highly populated so say your prayers to get an on-campus job....all na God hand e dey shaa....ps...no enter US dey find naija boys as friends, most of them na craze ppl....just come serve your jail....if you meet better naija guys na the best thing wey fit happen to you be that....goodluck hommie |
Psquare post "or she will be shoot by the thieves".....abeg which olodo start this thread. |
Personally I would say it depends on what you want, your ambition, are you career driven?....no matter where you are posted, all you have to do is find out what the state has to offer, in terms of where a corper can serve, gain experience and hopefully more pay. I served in kwara state, one of the worst places to be in naija, very dirty state, the camp sef na pig house. But I gained a lot too cos I did my homework and by God's grace, was accepted by oyedepo's university in the state. Work experience, extra pay, cheap living expenses. Saved me a Lotta cash too cos no place dey to rock life for that area. It was fun but geskia make them scrap that nysc na waste of one year. |
dicapino:yep its a black flag, except if you're lucky then they won't look at it(embassy) |
U forgot to add the last one....total waste of fucking one year |
slimmy05:good luck in whatever you're doing in the west brother, na opinions we come share for forum abeg...no vex, let's get back to doing just that. |
slimmy05:we all have different paths, give people advice if u got one, not shoving down opinions down their throat, but then who rily gives a shit, its a race for a life better than what we have in Nigeria, hard work pays. |
DeeTus:Nope.. family sponsor |
penroll55:love the positive review brother...but some people will actually do the studying...ie... Nurses acquire associate degree s to get into one of the most paid jobs in the US. .yeah its time consuming but u still make that bread same thing goes for any program in the medical field, truth is not all ms degrees will fetch u what u get if ur practicing medicine in USA, and in 4years tops u will get a bachelors degree which means more pay in ur field. People will definitely talk about stuff they r ignorant about cos they think they know all. Successful visa applications ain't cos ur too damn prepared or how good ur grades are, if God ain't with, then ur ass is on fire. And a friend got his visa approved today in Abuja...associate degree in nursing and yeah he has a bachelors in biological sciences. |
An updated account statement is always ur best bet |
kennyrony:and you don't have a sense of humor.... |
kennyrony:. Funny u mentioned that, I know someone that left last year, he was 26...first time and he got the damn visa |
kennyrony:yeah he has a bachelor's degree from Nigeria and he's 28 |
ferdimako:www.wncc.com....go to the international students page and check it out...though they did say the summer semester ain't recommended for international students...expecting another smiley |
Nubian113:you most definitely do not live in nigeria |
Ripleus2:he applied for a 2year AS degree in a community college and they have a summer semester.. |
Hi guys, please a friend was denied visa to the US today, he said the VO told him that schools don't issue i-20 for summer semester..am I the only one that thinks that's kinda incorrect...u know as in the VO ain't well informed |
Nubian113:90% of military men are promiscuous.... Good luck with that |
Yeah right, but I do remember northern Muslims slaughtering Yoruba Muslims in cold blood up north..... Thanks indeed...LMFAO |
The only thing these charcters have in common is that they are protagonists in 3rd person games and the games are hack and slash. Personally I don't see no reason to compare cos the games are different....gameplay, moves, storyline, graphics...for real no reason to compare at all. |
So these are features we don't use.....seriously , not all android users have high end devices for showing off.....some of us actually use em....... |
Ummh....nah the story is a perfect nollywood script, @OP abeg why you too dey lie like this, e good for ur eye ![]() |
