Christianity EtcRe: Speaking In Tongues? by SeanT21(op): 1:25am On Jul 05, 2009
Can we stick to the topic please!! wink

mactao:
Christians believe what the Bible says. The Bible supports speaking in tongues. You come here and call speaking in tongues "a load of crap" and "utter gibberish". If those aren't insults, I wonder what is.

You said "heaven must be populated by lunatics and imbeciles". Heaven is the place Christians aspire to go. By all these things, don't you think you've insulted Christianity?

@MrCrackles

Yes, I do speak in tongues.
How does it feel?? Do U control what u say??

Me thinks the whole speaking in tongues thing is a fraud! undecided
It is predominantly in African churches?
Yes. In the states its mostly Africans that are doing the "Tongue Speaking." Go to churches in Liberia and come see all these members speaking in tongues and falling on the ground. Its freaking annoying when half of the church starts "speaking in tongues" and the rest of the members are just standing there confuse. The whole "speaking in tongues" session lasts for about 30 minutes to an hour. That is one things I hate about African churches.~~About it being fake or not, I cant say!!
FashionRe: What's The Point Of Fixing Fake Eyelashes? by SeanT21(op): 7:39pm On Jul 04, 2009
chiogo:
Fake lashes are just like how some people view women who wear make-up - fake or ugly.
That's not true, people wear them to enhance their features; some people like their lashes longer.

I personal won't wear them though - I'm good with my eye-liners and brush. smiley

New York from flavor of love looks hideous with fake lashes and they keep falling off. sheesh.
TELL ME ABOUT IT. HERS WERE FREAKING DISGUSTING. lipsrsealed

Me too, but just another thought, u know, what if i was born a muslim, would I be following Islam doctrines? or am I a christian because I was born into it and see other religions as being wrong, but moretheless, i'm glad I was born a christian.
Many of us are Christians because we were born into it.The same with muslims.

Grizzly:
Any one who says The Simpsons aint funny is just echoing sentiments he prolly must have overheard from his neighbour.
Time takes nothing away from it. Its one of the most hilarious tv shows. Just look at homer's voice: PRICELESS! Family guy is funny but lacks depth. I don see it spanning 20 years. No i dont
SIMPSON is funny but not comapre to Family GUY.

Thank you so much but I know next to nothing about purchasing anything from the internet. also I live in Lagos Nigeria.
Can you still help me further pls seanT21.
Oh, thats hard. I do not think amazon.com delivers to Lagos. Many bookstores in Lagos might sell audio books.
Here are some

American Community Library (52 Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi, Lagos State).
"It's a library that also sells books (mostly paperback fiction). The
library has the best selection of fiction that you'll find in West
Africa. Decent childrens section. Spotty on the non-fiction and
travel sections (many of the travel books are sorrowfully out of
date)." Open Wed 9:30AM-12N, Sat 10AM-1PM.

Ikoyi Hotel Bookstore(s) (Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State).
"Collection of bookstores in the hotel lobby. Western book selection
with subjects ranging from medicine, business management, and computer
software. Some outdated, some new. Prices are high (sometimes twice
the list price marked on the book. Decent magazine selection. Some
Nigerian books, though this varies."

Lagos Sheraton Hotel Bookstore (Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos State).
"Small bookstore, small selection of western trade paperbacks, Nigeria
tour guides, domestic and western magazines."

Manna Bookstore (60 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, 01-269-4272; 2nd Floor, 7 Oyin
Jolayemi Street, off Karimu Kotun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos,
01-320-0386).

Okay we can see both the plus sizes, the lepa and different shades.

I prefer simplicity and non-white gowns (white is too common) something unique for the future mrs somebody.
I agree. I do not want my gown to be "Pure White". It should be a unique color. Everyone has White wedding gowns these days.
