I opened a thread on cartalk section. I clearly stated my igbotic name on my posts. Lekan opened a post too in the cartalk section that day. His yoruba name was clearly pasted on the thread.
Oga lexus expressed his doubt cos lekan just opened the account that day? I, who had been on nairaland since 2014 came in, and referred my thread since I had been on nairaland for sometime. I never claimed to lekan.
I am an engineering student. He is an accounting? Student. I am igbo, he is yoruba. His was a polytechnic, mine a university. All these were stated in our various posts.
Oga Lexusgs told me that I despite my acc details, I failed to put the amount needed.
Lekan then came to my thread and stated he needed 5k? But failed to put his details.
Oga lexus thought that lekan was me and then wired 5k to details in my op. He thought I was lekan, or that lekan was me?
It was in my thread that lexus asked me to put amount, not in lekan's thread. Remember he doubted lekan in lekan's thread because lekan was a new account.
Till date, we don't know who he really wanted to help, lekan or me.
That friday I went to a function, to serve as an usher. I wasn't with my phone until monday when I saw the post.
Since I hadn't been online for days, people thought I absconded with the 5k and then hurled insults at me.
I had over a 100 mentions by monday. It was too late to explain. Thread quickly degenerated.

Recently this young man reached out to someone very close to me. He gave this sob story of needing money for his medical bills, same story he gave here on some thread that got a friend’s attention. She was very touched. I will keep out their usernames for privacy reasons.

I don’t want to imagine how much this young man has made from unsuspecting Nlders.

His name is ezekwe Okezie Kelechi. A quick search on his name shows he has been on this for years.

Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has laughed off a report that the Department of State Services (DSS) recently quizzed him and his former label signee Tiwa Savage, Igbere TV reports.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, the duo were invited to the DSS office in Lagos a fortnight ago for alleged utterances against the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Tiwa Savage now signed to Universal Music was reportedly warned to stop her movement on Twitter known as “WeAreTired”, calling for more action on stopping rape incidents and police brutality in the country.

Her Twitter movement followed the rape and killing of a student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Uwa Omozuwa in May in a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) parish in Edo State, and the ‘accidental’ shooting and eventual death of a 17-year-old girl Tina ezekwe by the police in Iyana Oworo area of Lagos also in May.

Don Jazzy on his part was also reportedly cautioned against his anti-Buhari social media posts.

However, the music executive in a video posted on Twitter on Wednesday laughed off the report, asking “What’s the meaning of quizzes?”

He also told a concerned fan that he was 100 per cent fine.

The online news platform further reported that Don Jazzy and Tiwa alongside singers Yemi Alade and Waje were also summoned by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Zubairu Muazu.

They were allegedly warned to desist from political comments in order not to incur the wrath of the Buhari administration.

The platform quoted an unnamed source in Tiwa Savage’s management team as confirming the incident.

Igbere TV reports that the source reportedly said Tiwa who recently dropped her album Celia remained adamant in stopping her call for accountability on the part of the government.

Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Waje had not responded to the report at press time.
