keep your sorry to yourself oga, you're an evil person and this trait of blaming the victims has become regular amongst you evil people. I hope you also blamed one of those primary school students of setting their mates up for kidnap in the north ? Ashiere detective
And you are a dunce trying very hard to appear righteous.
You are the typical Nigerian hypocrite, using the classical Nigerian template of playing the ostrich to deflect from the issue.
Several students, not pupils, have been kidnapped and you are here failing comically to look like you are the most concerned
Politics / Re: Gunmen Kidnap Scores Of Students In Delta State by seborrhic: 12:21am On Apr 02
Sorry to sound like this in these troubling times for the parents, but I am suspecting that one amongst those students or someone close to those students they informed about their itinerary maybe the informant.
How else can it be explained that the bandits got to know when these students would be returning back and where to wait without fear of confrontation by security agents?
There definitely was some foreknowledge and planning involved to abduct that number of students.
Kidnapping is now a business venture,so many people, even those close to you that one may feel can't harm one or go to that extent may be involved, even if not directly.

Politics / Re: The Truth About CBN Control Of Spiking Dollar FX Rate by seborrhic: 6:56pm On Apr 01
JoeyNaza:

exactly, South Korea is still exporting Samsung and other electronics to us with their "bad" currency yet if this government had their way, they will lose 50 million dollars a month to bring the rate to 700 Naira so that agbado people will be celebrating meanwhile factories are closing down, food crisis is till an issue, no jobs, insecurity yakpa. Who are we fooling.
You are an illiterate.
Factories are closing down because the cost of production is very high.
What is the cause of this very high production cost? The dollar because with naira depreciating massively the cost of inputs, even the ones sourced locally have gone through the roof.
Electricity companies, logistics companies all have increased prices due to the dollar issue because those other items or services they use are indirectly affected by dollar cost.
Even the local farmer in Nigeria has to increase prices because when he/she goes to the market cost of other stuff have increased.
Illiterates with illusions of being smart.
Politics / Re: The Truth About CBN Control Of Spiking Dollar FX Rate by seborrhic: 6:48pm On Apr 01
So in other words, the goverment should fold it's hands and let speculators determine the exchange rate?
Everyone is shouting production.
When GEJ some ill informed are now routing as a better manager(I actually believe he is far better with a better team than Tinubu) had ₦ at 200-300,was there priduction.
No country, even the US with it's 100% capitalist economy allows their country to be determined by speculators.
If for example Elon Musk with his war chest of at least $100b in cash decides to go on a buying spree of the $ in order to hold and hoard it or even to allow other speculators to have a free reign, the US treasury, secret service,FBI will go after him because his speculator activities is distorting the market

Politics / Re: Tinubu Reportedly Directs Sale Of Three Presidential Jets Over Cost Of Maintenan by seborrhic: 12:34pm On Apr 01
Cost of maintenance shouldn't even come into the question.
Having that number of presidential jets in a country where the minimum wage is $20/month does not only not make any sense, but is comical to say the least.
Infact, assuming Nigeria was a very serious country,we would know that our economy and present state of affairs demands that the Nigeria only fly commercial airlines Economy class with as few aides as is possible.
Travel / Re: Finally Migrated To Australia At Age 48. This Is My Story So Far by seborrhic: 12:08pm On Apr 01
Usefulsense:

I sent my wife here in December 2021.
The original plan was for the family to move together but on a second thought I said no.

She worked really hard and I supported her the much I can from Nigeria.

It was much easier for me because I had my partner here already.
Ok.
Makes more sense.
You didn't state all these in your first post, not until posters started digging some holes and doubting some aspects of the story.
The way you initially made it sound, you entered Australia late Dec and in 3 months you already had shelter, had time to take several artisan courses, your kids already in school, then aside from working, you already saving.
It's always important to lay out the whole picture,so that aside from not creating doubts in some people as to the authenticity of a story,it would not also make some other people with intent of travelling to feel it was the straightforward, almost magical way you made it sound

The three months is the shocking part.
If he is correct and truthful, then he had well laid out plans and is lucky.
I am just imagining someone going to a new country and already started doing well at 3months.Shelter,kids already in school, fees settled, got a job already and saving.
Thats quite an enormous achievement

May just be an "innocent" poisonous insect that bit him, not everything is spiritual.
Assuming the ant story is even true in the first place, which I seriously doubt.
Don't be amazed to later read no ant bit him, that he died from complications of a long running ailment he couldn't afford to treat in the states or that was being treated in the US,but was adviced to come down to Nigeria, that it's a spiritual matter, only to die because he stopped taking his prescribed drugs when he came to Nigeria.

Celebrities / Re: I Didn’t Ask Primeboy To Run Away, Says Mohbad’s Father by seborrhic: 9:05pm On Mar 30
Of course.
It's only a foo l that would believe what the mother said about the dad telling primeboy or prime guy to run away.
I have this belief that the autopsy report would be a hard pill to swallow for the parents and all those his supporters that have been throwing up different personalities as being the cause of his death.
That is why I believe the toxicology was ordered done abroad,at least we believe the Whiteman die and no one would accuse an oyibo lab of doctoring or tainting the result to suit certain interests.

After donating and getting an acknowledgement receipt.. when the time reached for me get the blood I donated from LUTH. LASUTH BLOOD BANK. IT WAS SERIES OF ONE FIGHT TO ANOTHER..
Lastly thank to God Almighty my wife came out from LUTH alive.. it was a very bad experience and we lost the twins.. to cut everything short......
I have even some videos of the recorded arguments I have with them ..
Lost the twins eventually?
So painful after all the efforts.
Did they come out alive at all or they died some time after birth in the neonatal intensive care unit?
Politics / Re: Disquiet Over Tinubu’s Appointments by seborrhic: 10:18am On Mar 30
Nauseating pieces of shi t.
When PMB surrounded himself with Northerners and openly avowed that he won't even consider giving any major appointment to the 5 percenters, did any other region aside the SE raise any eyebrow?
Now because Tinubu is following the same parochial template, imps that kept quiet and even applauded PMB are disturbing our peace.
Who amongst the clannish northern appointees PMB made, were competent? They should name one single competent northerner he appointed, right down to the senate President whose nomination he championed.
That is one of the main reasons I didn't even want Atiku to succeed PMB.
Despite any pretences to being a nationalist, once Atiku gets into office he would have largely consolidated the Northern grip on the government, ministries and parastatals.
Tinubu should fire on

Politics / Re: Senegal President Is 44 Yrs, Shame On Those Shouting On Tinubu Mandate We Stand by seborrhic: 2:18pm On Mar 29
Rubbish.
Tinubu's incompetence has nothing to do with his old age.
Also being young is NEVER a guarantee of success in leadership,ANYWHERE,in the world, talkless of Africa where institutions are run at the whims and caprices of the man at the top.
Yahaya Bello was also in his 40's when he became governor,he was a disaster.
Also going by this your line of thought,Peter Obi should not be contesting for the presidency since he is in his 60's.
So,we should vote in the likes of Sowore just because he is relatively a younger man? Then disaster awaits you.
Finally, this Senegalese president just ascended office.Let him prove himself because it's easy to say all the right things when contesting or not in office, but when you get in and now have power, things change,in Africa, particularly.
The person you seem to be praising now, don't be surprised when his tenure ends,he would be scheming to change the constitution to extend his stay in office.

Be truthful to yourself, assuming it was an ordinary physically challenged person, would they have even (1)responded at all
(2)If they did won't it have taken weeks if not months of outcry from the social media or main press.
(3)When they eventually respond for an ordinary person, would it have come anywhere like closing the facility?
Nobody is saying what KFC did was right. It's even unconscious able to imagine any normal person would be rude or discourteous to any physically challenged person on the street, talkless of one that came to patronise your product.

Assuming it was the child or relation of an unknown person, would this same action had been taken?
In Nigeria, once you hear this kind of prompt action, just know it's because an influential person is directly or indirectly affected.

Of course it's propaganda.
Dollar may be coming down gradually but it cannot be such drastic a drop to 1k.
It's an amateurish attempt to speculate on the drop of the $,likely sponsored by goverment, hoping the speculation would have the same effect those speculating online had on the ₦ crashing then

Is it possible to drive from London to Lagos?
There is a land route to travel through all countries, just that it can be tortous, that's why the plane was invented, not that you can only travel to some countries via plane.
Imagine spending 2 weeks or even a month to reach some countries via car with the breakdowns and hazards that come with it,rather than just 12hours in the air

Its safer for a white person to travel through Africa than for an African black to do so.
That is just the bitter truth.
Africans would accommodate, respect and glorify the white person, even in rebel controlled territory, but will see their fellow African embarking on this kind of adventure as just another animal to be maltreated,ill-treated,unaccomodated,raped if it's a female and even murdered.
She should have restricted her adventure to the Western countries.

More than obvious.
Same Tinubu goverment that said "subsidy is gone",but has been found to be paying subsidy through the backdoor. This is a goverment built on lies, propaganda and deceit.
It doesn't need rocket science to know that for kidnappers in Nigeria of today to release all 137 children they abducted, without casualties on their side, from a security operation, money must have changed hands.

How could u say you have recovered weapons when you stated that the soldiers killers are yet to be captured?
Did they leave the weapons somewhere and escape? which I will think, is very much unlikely!
Make una try dey fear devil small nah🤓
Wondering same.
There is even nowhere in the body of the report it was specifically stated that the weapons of the soldiers have been recovered.
Another thing is that eventhough I am sure no investigation would take place and it's the narrative of what the army said took place, that would be recorded in history, there is still unexplained posers, particularly how 18 soldiers, including officers, that were armed, were killed by Creek militants with no one escaping and no casualty on the civilian side.
When it's not a bomb. There is something puzzling and hurriedly being swept under the carpet about the whole sordid affair.

This is stu pidity and not bravery.
They should only have secured the snake, then call authorities or adults that have skill or experience in handling snakes.
The boy,the parents and every adult around the scene of this event should be traced and flogged,12 strokes for the boy,24 for adults around and 36 for the parents(if they are alive).

Business / Re: Naira Strengthens Against The Dollar, Sells At N1400/$ On The Parallel Market by seborrhic: 3:55pm On Mar 20
It was pure speculation that was driving that alarming slide and because of it,people were withholding their dollars, even Nigerians abroad and those they sent dollars down here, believing it was heading to 2k and even beyond when they would then release it.
Many even did it at the risk of not getting the essentials it was sent for.
Also some bought to hoard for same reasons.
Seeing now that it's been falling and fearing their dollars is relatively losing value and may continue doing so,they are gradually releasing it,while still watching.
If it falls to say 1400 or even 1300,I foresee a panic dump of dollars into the market
