You can use the cover of non compliance, non approval and lack of permits to achieve your primary aim of targetting a certain group. Yes,when the matter goes to court, the traders would most likely lose because land planning approvals may not have been got or some areas deficit. It's like the average policeman or case in Nigeria:he/she wants to either extort you financially or get you imprisoned for selfish motives or inducement from another party;there would definitely be a matter or document or act he/she can criminally fault a Nigerian for.Does the arrest or in this case demolitions make it right? |
meobizy:This here is proper deficit of education. So to avenge that, the armed robbers would first rob the other flats before coming for their main target? Sometimes I wonder if some of you read what you type to see if it makes any sense, before pressing the send button |
Helinuse:These sale pitches of an el dorado somewhere in the self entrepreneur world is like football players in nigeria in particular. Many have dreams of playing abroad. But it's only about 5% that get to move abroad.Of that 5%,only about 0.5% get to have a good career in football. The rest either return back to Nigeria or just stay abroad doing any kind of work or end up playing in 4th tiers of football for just a few years before they are sent packing |
Betting is a 2 edged sword. It can ruin or make you, though the ratio is 80:20 |
What is special in this outfit? Night vision goggles, ear piece for communications and body armor has now become one very unique outfit. We celebrate mediocrity too much in Nigeria. Something ordinary police forces now wear |
ojinuocheibi:So going hungry, going to church on empty stomachs and not being able to meet up with basic life needs gives you fulfillment and fills your soul? |
Another lamba. He brought in sex workers and customers already started trooping in. Indeed. There are brothels and hotels now littering every town,so why would people abandon their old spots and rush into the new place and keep on coming for him to be making 300k daily. What of police harassment for a new ashawo hotel? What of LG and various other goverment agencies that suddenly come from nowhere demanding all sorts of permits and levies? What of the free knacks and demands from police and their accomplices or they shut the place down. What of the unruly or sheer criminally minded customers that would knack but won't want to pay the women because they know it's a new joint and the owner would want patronage, but the ladies are interested only in their money? Half of those ladies move out after just a few months or even weeks for one reason or the other. Point is, it's not as rosy as he is making it sound. Even if it is initially, with time, other factors creep in that will test the business. Hotel and clubbing business yes may sound lucrative from the outside, but start it and you realize that if you don't have deep pockets and connections, it's another heart breaker |
spiceadole:Yes, I get,but believing that she went to a lab that is reputable enough for their tests and results to stand scrutiny when published, I felt they should know they must have a higher standard. They would have just done a stool or even blood culture instead if she didn't like the indignity of producing a stool and give her the entire result when it's out. But I don't even see the need for a typhoid test in this case, unless she requested for it,in which case they should have told her a stool culture is more appropriate. She may as well have done an MP |
So such lab is still doing widal test in this age? Why is she wasting time telling us just this. By now one was expecting that she should be posting this result with a copy of her lawyer's letter to the useless content creator asking for retraction of the story, publication in 3 reputable newspapers, both off and online and punitive damages of at least N50m or he would be sued to court. People just use SM to destroy the reputation of individuals and companies. It should be stopped by making such people pay through their noses! |
So such lab is still doing widal test in this age? |
descarado:So which poison will someone put in a food that will wipe out an entire family without the person being seen? Sometimes some of you people refuse to use a part, not even all of your God given common sense! Ask yourself, when did the person sneak in to put poison in the food the entire family ate? Or are you, like that fake pastor,a type that would believe it was a poison inserted by a ghost or spirit? Have you ever seen what an improperly processed cassava can do to an individual when eaten? Have you ever seen where someone ate an improperly cooked meal and the person comes down with so much pain, throwing up that it's as if the entire stomach wants to burst out from the body. The useless talk by the fake and obviously poorly educated pastor that he saw the nurse inserting something into the mouth or nose of one of the family members after removing the oxygen was simply probably cotton wool after the mother had already died, reason why the nurse had to disconnect the oxygen. Don't even be surprised the fake pastor came up with all these fairy tales to avoid settling the Hospital bill. |
This pastor is not a good pastor. Nobody put poison in their food. Rather they died of food poisoning caused by germs from improperly cooked or contaminated food. They are unlucky, that it was a deadly form of bacteria that contaminated their food and their inability to access a good healthcare facility where their lives COULD have been saved with prompt and appropriate care. A pastor should be educated,so that he doesn't spread false information, thus "poisoning the minds" of family against one another or community suspicions leading to strife and even further loss of innocent lives. |
How can they move 700 herds of cattle succesfully?I don't believe it. Cattle are animals and not human beings that will easily be kidnapped at the threat of arms. The only way to steal that number of cattle is to tie them with ropes and be pulling them as you go.This will require 1 man to each cattle, meaning 700 men. The first instinct of any cattle at the sound of any violent activity is to scamper away. So they should tell us how 700 cattle can be "kidnapped". Even stealing 700 fowl at once is unlikely |
She thinks she would find everlasting joy in that house? Funny her. When that p*ssy the man was craving for or that d*ck she couldn't do without now becomes something you see everyday,it loses that novelty and pleasure it was giving you when both of you were seeing occasionally. Also no matter what,in the next 5 years or so with her present age,she wouldn't be that sexually appealing again. So unless they are getting married due to true love for each other(highly doubtful because it's clear sex was a big factor in their original getting together),she is in for a rude awakening. Flaws would become noticeable, some bad character traits would manifest and all that is rosy and sweet today would suddenly become monotonous and boring. |
Mattmafen:Sometimes you mustn't see ugly things in someone before you decide to move on. She may have found someone that said he would marry her while her murderer wasn't ready. She may not have liked the sex with him while the other was better in bed;while on the converse the murderer was demanding too much sex but the other guy just liked to be with her. It may even be different religious orientation The point is nothing ugly may be in someone, yet the other party just didn't want to be in the relationship or simply found someone better, less demanding, more or less religious, more or less outgoing, etc |
This narration seems like the victim telling her story from the dead. The person that is narrating the story like she was in the house when everything was happening. |
DeLaRue:In your mind, you will feel you have posted something meaningful. |
OsuEbonyi:When you are duped by any of these criminals posing as estate agents is when you will understand what it means for someone to dupe you of your hard earned money without land, house or refund. Continue citing the declaration of him being wanted on an imaginary person. |
Walai:What makes Shop rite an upper middle class biz? It's either you don't know what an upper middle class biz is or you are one of those that read textbooks and want to apply it to anything you come across. A shop that all cadres of people visited because of it's considerate prices and it's uniqueness and ambience. The truth is that cost of transportation and drastically curtailed purchasing power across board has dealth a blow on super stores like that. Now you must either have a car to go shopping there or your biz or work path is along any of the locations,so you can easily branch to get some stuff. Previously people of lower class could just take a cheap bus fare just to go to Shoprite to buy even just bread or hang around for the fun of it. They can't now because it doesn't make any sense to spend 2-3k on transportation just to buy a 1900 bread. |
I Walai:You no lie. The truth is if you are living a honest life, living on just your legitimate salary or biz income alone, you are barely surviving. If you are into biz,it's either your biz is suffering if you decide to live an enjoyable life from it.Though there are some exceptions but generally, things are pretty hard for any legit income earner. |
When I saw one new private fuel station with up to 6 pump attendants with another for the cooking gas and confectionery stations,I just wished them well. Unless that station is a money laundering cover up,the owner has several other sources of revenue,I don't see how they can sustain paying that number of attendants from the sales from the station alone |
I am in full, unadulterated support of the arrest and full prosecution of the woman. That allegation in this age of SM can not only destroy that biz,but can cause severe emotional trauma and even suicidal tendencies on the owners. If you own a business that depends on patronage especially in the food,Hospitality or Healthcare sectors, one single bad info can not only turn customers away but lead to stigmatization of the biz leading to its collapse. If you borrowed money from a bank to run the biz, with this kind of devastating info this woman has falsely spread, patronage will drastically reduce, even if the info is later found to be false.By then you won't have been able to meet your bank repayment obligations and soon they come calling to seize your collateral and that's how people become emotionally and mentally deranged sometimes leading to suicide. The woman should be used as an example. People have a phone, snap pictures and post all sorts of false info on SM,next thing you would see on your WhatsApp or FB is "please repost these to all your family, friends and groups you belong to to save lives". |
Believe fb stories at your peril. He returned home, wife left kids unfed and left the house just b4 the husband closed from his Okada biz. Why wouldn't she have gone for the rendezvous long before she knows the husband would return. Secondly,he couldn't have known same day that the wife was the one in the morgue so soon. Thirdly, which man goes straight to a police station in Nigeria without first calling the wife's relations and friends to find out if something took her to go visit them? Conclusion:fake story |

When I knew Amorim was useless was right from last season when he started playing Amad as a wing back. I needed no further confirmation when he started using Bayindir in some matches,a goalkeeper that should at best be in league 2! Take aside his worst Man Utd record as a manager, can anyone point to what input Amorim has made on the team. Ten Hag,as poor as he was had a pattern of play. Ten Hag had Garnacho and Amad down the wings,a relatively ok midfield, poor defence and poor goalkeeper but he still got some decent games and results. |
Doesn't make sense. He had these knee injuries and operations 4-5 years ago and has been playing for Leverkussen and doing relatively well. It must have been another type of injury or a recent health concern that was picked up,not the knee injury that was taken care years ago. |
If this match end in draw he go sweet me die. Liverpool is just being overhyped and they are spending like mad,yet they haven't been fantastic in any of their games. |
saphiere:But collecting money under false pretenses is not illegal? |
tremilatre:You don't get my point. That any little change of fortune in a team, any poor game,no matter how early, the average Nigerian fan and wannabe analyst will change tune, the players and team they were praising to high heavens would suddenly become bad and faults and blames start being thrown about. Just watch, this team that has demolished West Ham,any match they lose or don't play well, the same Pedro,Hernandez,Caicedo will suddenly become below par to some fans. |
Just here to laugh and read as the blame games start 1,2,3: Why is Estevao starting;why is Adabario pairing with Cheloboah?Chelsea should have gone for Donarumma,Caicedo doesn't play well when he is the captain, etc, etc |
Yet,they will still vote APC. Asides the economic hardship, the security situation in the North alone is more than enough for Northerners to want a change of goverment, even if its led by a goat or donkey. Insecurity in just a few local governments in the NorthEast was what led to the ouster of GEJ. Now insecurity is far worse in the North and averagely affecting the whole country in one form or the other and anyone wants to give Tinubu a second vote! They are not even demonstrating against the government! Northerners are not ready |
