That's what the average Nigerian does:once they have issues with somebody, especially monetary,they invite an army friend or brother to use force to recover their money or exert revenge.

Sorry Fela did not make Ojuelegba popular, even though his song described the traffic and human confusion around Ojuelegba. That place was always there, with no bridge then. It was a popular place where buses from the North, South, East and West arrived. People knew where to pick up their friends and loved ones then. There were too many joints with cheap foods and Ashawo joints for bus drivers and everyone. There were night clubs and it was 24 hours busy. Marcopolo, and Lagos state transport buses stopped there. It was a dispersal center to other areas of Lagos, just like Yaba bus stop.

Fela’s Kalakuta republic was on Agege Motor road, as it was called, backing the Ojuelegba army barracks then until OBJ ordered soldiers to destroy the place. He actually started in Alagomeji, Yaba and then to Shitta in Surulere, with Afrobeats, before relocating to the finally destroyed Kalakuta republic. He moved from there to Pepple street, Ikeja where we have computer village today and to Gbemisola street, as his residence. His song promoted Ojuelegba, but it was a very popular place before then. Femi and his siblings lived in Ikate on Oduduwa street with their mum then.

Though it's still early but the ADC should unveil it's membership drive strategy.
There are millions of Nigerians,totally exasperated with how APC has run the country aground,with severe economic hardship,pervasive insecurity,nepotism and unrelenting corruption under watch of Tinubu,that want to join the ADC and boot out APC.
Many are also encouraged by the calibre of people in the coalition,with financial and political clout,that has a very good chance of unseating APC.
So please the membership drive should begin soon as possible

If ADC can get it's act together,it would achieve one thing at least,get Blabulu to try to bring down prices of goods and services and the insecurity in the land.
If ADC can daily tackle the APC on it's failures,like Obi has been single handedly doing since he lost the election, Nigeria would not be in this mess of severe hardship and widespread insecurity.
But I fear for when the time for the presidential ticket and gubernatorial tickets will be decided, particularly the presidential because I feel the likes of Atiku,Obi are there to actualize their presidential ambitions while likes of El Rufai,Amaechi and Saraki at least a VP ticket.

Tinubu has been a disaster,but it's obvious Nigerian politicians are generally carved from the same mould:grab power at whatever cost,otherwise why would any credible opposition party tolerate the likes of this woman and many of the shady characters joining it?

Even though Wike may have ulterior motives,but the honest truth is that the amount of lands given or acquired by these universities is honestly enormous.
Most Nigerian federal and state universities lands are like towns or villages of their own.
You see a university with few structures and wide expanse of empty land for purposes one doesn't understand.
I think originally their sizes were made that enormous for farming purposes.
Otherwise,honestly,most should be 1/4 if not 1/10th their current land masses.
