Wao! It's looking like AI generated and not real. This is the kind of transformation associated with the Chinese and Japanese, transforming what looked an impossibility to reality. Kudos to Otti!! PS.In short after typing the above, I had to go and view the pictures again and I am still amazed at the present state of that street or road with all the buildings still standing, including the one nearly consumed by the erosion. Assuming this area was somewhere in Lagos, their first and standard default action would have been to tell people that those houses are no longer liveable and they pull down every structure without giving any thought. Now see someone proving that structures and buildings can still be saved. |
Nobody with sense,no matter how he/she hates Tinubu, believe this trash from People's Gazette |
Those at Idumota were reportedly told to pay ₦2m. Though don't know if it's 100% true but that was what shop owners told their customers. Also don't know if they eventually paid that sum or a lesser amount, but they all definitely paid some money |
DaddyJapan:Did you even bother reading the report you linked? He purchased Hilux for farming, informant told police officers, they arrested him at the gate, made him to transfer all his money to Bureau D Change agent. How does that sound to you? Put yourself in the man's shoe:you made a whooping 150m from your years of hardwork, someone with uniform saw it in your phone and threatened you with a hishy washy allegation of crime and you because of that transferred the whole money you honestly worked hard for. I know it sounds foolish but most people that made that kind of money through honest, hardwork with nothing to hide, would rather stay in that detention and dare the police to do their worse or take him to court. A family that can engage a SAN would definitely do any running around that would prove their son innocent. Remember also, this is someone with a family that will know where he was taken to and by who. Even a child would find this story laughable. Millions were given as bribe, yes to corrupt officers, even maybe a DIG,yes. But I don't see a honest man giving that kind of money as bribe. This version of your link also contradicts the one written by the lawyer that claims the 145m or so was raised through loans, families, businesses and friends. So clearly, the story has things that are hidden and not true |
dettolgel:Accepting without conceeding,or how is that grammar even phrased again? So ask yourself as soon as he came out,why didn't they immediately petition the IGP through this same lawyer on the extortion by the officers? At least once he was out of detention with the official petition, his life would have been relatively safe. Why wait till he travelled back to his base abroad? Remember this incident as reported was almost 8months ago, last year. Why wait till now. Of course, nobody is disputing the fact that the majority of Nigerian policemen and women are criminals out to extort, frame and kill if warranted, but one thing every policeman or woman doesn't want is to have his or her name splattered on the news or SM for a criminal act because the police would take action, not out of them necessarily wanting to clean the force, but to give the impression to the outside world that criminal elements are being dealth with. Besides, being based abroad and maybe even likely holding a foreign passport gives him added leverage to have his case handled professionally. I still stand by my theory:both parties have soiled hands. |
Why did the family bribe the officers with such a humongous amount? It's clear they have the means,so why didn't they employ this same SAN or any other lawyer as soon as they knew where he was taken to. I bet if this same petition or any other had been written by a lawyer when he was arrested, no physical harm or any threat to his life would have been made by any officer. My theory and gut feeling is that the guy was involved in some criminal activity,so the family was boxed in a corner and being desperate to see him come out of detention, they raised that huge sum. Now that he has safely returned to his foreign base, they are now writing petitions, knowing he cannot be brought to the court to answer for whatever crime he was involved in. Who pays such huge sum when you know your family member is innocent? Even Evans with his well documented criminal past has not been assaulted or threatened with harm once his case came to the public sphere and lawyers were involved. Anyway, it's a case of 2 sets of criminals trying to outsmart each other. Petition indeed. For good 4 months or when he was in Abuja you didn't petition the IGP because you didn't want whatever he was involved in to become official, making his coming out and traveling back to base impossible. The criminal officers involved saw his case, know if they throw threats around, mainly that of him being prosecuted and some physical harm if left in detention,to spice things up and bargain well, money would be raised to avoid likely prosecution. I can also bet if the guy had still been in Nigeria, this same petition won't have been written and they would have wanted everything kept mush mush. |
But why is it not reflecting in cost of transport. Commercial vehicle owners and transport unions have refused to reduce transport cost from the amount they were when fuel was above 1k. |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:Wao! Was sounding incredulous to me. Men going hours not releasing I feel possible but to ejaculate 5 times in a single night sounded strange. |
dangermouse:You mean you can ejaculate 5times a night or you don't understand what 5 rounds mean? It's not you going in,you get tired,then you continue.He means a man releasing 5times a night:even with different women,maybe 2 or 3 max,5 times is impossible. |
Helpout12345:Honestly,you are not wrong in this. Even though the events may have happened, but no concrete evidence supports this, asides from the account of the girl. My question is this:was she the only 1 pupil in the ict lab the time of this incident? The other allegation about providing expo also looks like a hatchet job for those pupils that failed, despite paying, not that they are coming out of a self righteous motive. |
ElSudani:No matter that. Even if he gets just a 1 day detention,so long as he is convicted that is good enough. What am I even typing?Even if he is not convicted,so long he has been indicted by the court,he would never attempt the stupid things he did before or even venture to step out of finland,if he is not deported by the Finnish authorities. His life in Europe from here hence, would be miserable. |
3fighting:Shut up! This has nothing to do with the west. With the presence of French troups in Burkinaso, though there were attacks but they weren't as rampant as it is now. His government has been one of lies and cheap propaganda, while foregoing key governance. Think about it:how possible is it that almost on a monthly or weekly basis, some army officer would be plotting a coup against you? This increased jihadist activity may even be welcome if not encouraged by him because it gives him the ready excuse to claim there can't be any talk of democracy or a new leader for now because of the security situation, giving him dictatorial powers and definitely indefinite hold on power. You people be there allowing an incompetent small boy be using propaganda and cheap publicity gimmicks to deceive you all |
Meanwhile Traore is busy with propaganda and weekly cooked coup attempts. |
What's the criteria for just 300k + to retake the examination when the issues were widespread? This same imbe fixed examination to start by 6am(accreditation is part and parcel of the exam process),when he should know many CBT centres are several kilometres away from residences of candidates and the appalling security situation in the country. The only honor he should render is his resignation, that is what self acclaimed righteous people do. His crocodile tears are for show! |
Some Africans and st upidity. Some people will still believe this crap! How can any person with 5,not even the 6 common senses believe a River originated from a cotton tree!! |
ReturnMan:You have no sense. You just read something on a blog or Burkinaso sponsored sites or influencers and you sharpaly believe. A sensible person would scroll the internet to read what Burkinabes or independent observers or reputable media say about the country, but failing to use your brain, you have swallowed hook, line and sinker all what the scam called Traore and his agents are posting. Everyday I get annoyed with people that say sense is common. The number of daft people makes that statement completely false. |
The f ool was probably hired by Palm pay to advertise their loan offer with his scam story. There is no where that loan amount would amount to that meagre sum after 3 years. If Palm pay was honest they should tell other people to come out with the interest accruing to their principal sums after just months, not even years that the loan was left unpaid. Idiot! |
Difrent:Ok.If you say so. But I am still a bit sceptical because it's sounding too straightforward and unreal knowing the peculiarities of Nigeria and prevalent scam. It's just giving me the rice and farming scams that many companies advertized few years ago that turned out to be money down the drain for people that invested their money. Also know that cocoa can also ruin farmers because of the high incidence of pests, crop failures etc, unless the so called new varieties have overcome those challenges too. Anyway, let me just keep fingers crossed |
Qadaffi2idiamin:Same attitude with Cbex. First set of people got fast, big returns on their investments and others thought it was going to remain so and fell into the scam |
Difrent:So a cocoa farmer with a farm that purportedly bringing in millions would yield his crops to an entrepreneur? You obviously didn't read through what u typed |
Sorry Arsenal fans, the team just hasn't been good enough, again, this year. I make bold to say that Arsenal will be thrashed 3:0,3:1 or 4:1 after which the fans will start crucifying the likes of Saka, the defence not being good enough, need to get an upgrade on the goal keeper, need for a natural number 9,that anybody that compares Rice or Partey again to Gavi or Pedri should be stoned, etc, etc. This year's champions league is destined for a PSG,Inter final. Either could win it,though it's looking like Inter coming up with the goods again in the final despite PSG playing the most attractive football. |
This one was born a liar. He has also lied against his rival Ladoja because I am sure the guy didn't feed him with the lies he posted, contrary to his claim. However, the blame should go to people that even believed his initial claim of 100m bribe being offered to him. Of what electoral value does the fraudster have? Can he even influence his family, talk less of any significant number to vote for Tinubu? Sowore,a more renowned public figure, former student leader, publisher of Sowore and a claimed fighter against injustice and the masses, could not garner up to 10k votes from the entire country in his presidential candidacy, talk less of one drug influenced, corrupt nonentity |
Shocking report coming from Reuters. Looking like what a typical Nigerian blog would write. It takes an average of 3-5 years to harvest Cocoa. So how can someone that went into cocoa farming in 2023,have harvested and sold that much by early 2025 or even 2024 when the guy interviewed would have harvested? I hope Reuters has not been sold another agric scam because before you know it ponzi schemes would start exploding, telling people they will double their money in 6months once they invest their money into a cocoa farming programme with promises to buy hectares of cocoa that would be harvested and exported to the international market in 6months |
LordBiden:He lied definitely. Some people are born liars and even on their dying bed, they would still lie |
Therock5555:You said it all |
Rudiger showed the thug in him. Not surprised Vinicius showing his true character,he has always been an irritating figure, reason why he will never win the Balloon D'Or. It's because the Spanish football federation has not properly disciplined Real Madrid that's why they continue getting away with making false accusations against referees, players acting anyway they like etc. Barcelona were worthy winners in terms of the football they played. |
Funny story and PR commendation. If they had 20m, would they be doing money rituals? How do you commend and reward a police officer from ordinary promise of monetary bribe, without the bribe money being or sited as evidence that indeed such bribery was not only offered but actually given? Moreover, who else was there when they were making this phantom promise, asides the DPO? |
okomile:Always the go to defence for those not married,to console themselves. |
McLizbae:Dem do use filter deceive this one |
The desperation for a goverment appointment is becoming embarassing. Same method and format was used to defend Buhari's nepotism, they said he was adhering to the federal quota by giving Seasterners and SS meaningless posts. Coming from Reno,it can't but be distortion of the facts as usual. |
He has money o,to be traversing all these countries, buying fake identities at exorbitant costs and moving from one country to another. |
