Dozis:Clowns. I am far from a Tinubu fan or believe in his competence but this argument guys like you sometimes come up with is laughable. So when GEJ left,Nigeria crude exports declined?Gej tenure wherein ND militants were stealing crude like there was no tomorrow and ministers were siphoning part of our oil export earnings into their private pockets and foreign bank accounts? GEJ tenure when people were travelling abroad to Dubai for every possible reason, even to buy Okrika shoes and bags to sell and people were travelling abroad for every manner of reasons, birthdays, get together, school child enrollment, graduation, parties etc. Funny lots. |
Business / Re: CBN Bars MFBs, Opay, Moniepoint From Registering New Customers - Gazette by seborrhic: 9:57pm On Apr 29 |
Dozis:What was Nigeria exporting during GEJ and Buhari's time that saw the Naira pick at ₦650 at the parallel market? The converse question is:did Nigeria suddenly stop exporting when Tinubu came in,to make the ₦ depreciate so bad? No matter how you look at it,an objective person will know that at least 25% of the Naira's depreciation has been caused by speculators and hoarders, not due to any sudden loss of export and increased imports because Nigeria was even importing more during GEJ’s and Buhari's tenures when ₦ still had some reasonable value. My only grouse is that the CBN is not doing anything about politicians, goverment officials and even government agencies that mop up the dollar, hoarding it in order to make profit from it or just store till heaven knows when 4 Likes |

Bazztadewu:There is also the other part of the argument wherein some people,on many threads will always come out to categorically state that once you lose your ATM card, your money is almost good as being wiped off. I have tried arguing on many such occasions that it isn't as straightforward as that, that having access to one's card does not translate automatically to your funds being wiped off, unless the person has access to your pin,one way or the other. I have usually cited an example of once losing my ATM card on a Friday and didn't bother blocking the account or the card till the following Monday and nothing happened. I am not saying there maynot be advanced systems of card compromise, but it's extremely difficult, contrary to impression some Nigerians are creating and many Nigerians have, that a lost or stolen ATM card is automatic account wipe off. |

Bazztadewu:That's why I sometimes like coming to nairaland, someone will always pick out loopholes from a story. His story sounded off from the start, then he tried filling in the loopholes as people responded, but ended up creating more holes. In the fake screenshot he downloaded,in the second debit, his alleged culprit had already withdrawn 50k from an initial total balance of 131k,but from the second debit he was still able to withdraw 131k. If the initial 50k debit was correct, another 131k debit couldn't have been allowed because the balance as at that second transaction would have been 81k,so it should have showed insufficient balance. BewareOf419:So it's God that creates rain, whenever he wants it to fall it would and whenever he doesn't he won't allow it? So God gives excessive, destructive rainfall to some areas leading to loss of lives and property, displacement and suffering while he doesn't allow rain to fall at all in other areas, where there used to be regular rainfall, leading to inability to farm, hunger, famine, starvation leading to death of animals and humans? European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Tottenham Hotspur Vs Arsenal (2 - 3) On 28th April 2024 by seborrhic: 3:17pm On Apr 28 |
All those rooting for Arsenal to win the league are jokers. A team that struggled to score a single goal against a at best mid table form Porto in the champions league, then beaten by a below par Bayern, finding it again difficult to score. But beating teams in the EPL with multiple goal margins. That is the deceptive team they want to win the EPL! I trust City because they have played this book before, winning all their remaining matches and the EPL is theirs, even if Arsenal beat useless teams like Tottenham,Chelsea and utd 12-0 each |

All police personnel salary is known. So even without spending a dime of his salary, how did he come about ₦56m? He even said it proudly showing he doesn't even have a damn clue the meaning and implications of what he said. Real comedy this country is. 28 Likes 2 Shares |

First time watching Noni Madueke up close and I must say that boy is a player. Given the same opportunities and freedom to operate like Palmer, that guy would be a better player than Palmer. He can dribble,he can hold the ball in tight spots and has an eye for goal. Give Madueke a good coach,a champions league club he would be a star 5 Likes 1 Share |

People in Nigeria seem not to still grasp what the depreciation will do to the overall Nigerian economy and household, even despite having the dastardly experience early this year. danladi02:Okponu. In the US even before some accused are charged to court, prosecutors go in camera to lay down the charges and evidence they have. This is someone that refused arrest, shielded by the governor and paid touts and is being called out by the EFCC chairman who went on to lay the extent he went to make this man honour EFCC summons. In US,even the attorney general and president would have publicly commented and denounced what Bello and Idodo did. Assuming it was during OBJ's time I am pretty sure Idodo would be running helter skelter looking for who to beg on his behalf to stop his almost certain impeachment by the state assembly. But that error of a grossly, incompetent and monumentally corrupt Buffon,Buhari started this level of impunity by goverment officials and bigwigs and now it's now a comedy of impunity |

First,I can bet anything that laboratory result is made up or padded. Why?I bet you have taken several drugs for malaria and typhoid before going for these tests, yet both results are still showing high levels of both. You probably don't even malaria and typhoid at all. Next thing they will diagnose subacute appendicitis. Even if you have to do a scan,do it somewhere else, preferably a reputable centre. Tests and investigations done in some laboratories have been turned to desperate money making ventures. You do malaria and typhoid 20 times in a month after treating each time after you do the tests ,in an average Nigerian lab and it will always show both, how is that possible! 2 Likes |
