A job is a job as long it is legal and honest, it should be considered a worthy job. Most of these manual jobs e,g carpentry are big outside Nigeria. My point is that Nigeria need to start appreciate such workers and pay them more if they can.

Carpentry is not a mebial job.. Menial jobs bu definition are jobs that do not require any particular skill.. Like cleaning, car wash men etc.. Carpentry, plumbing for examples requires one to have gone through some form of formal/informal training.

Why do we often call bridges fly overs here.. Maybe cuz the word flyover sounds more grandeur to these politicians...

Even was about building a metro line, and till date no other governor except for Fashola has been able to match Jakande. 6 billion dollars are you high? The reason why projects in Lagos are overestimated is because of corruption. If Lagos is serious about development and transparency, they should lift the secrecy behind their budgets let us know what all these projects cost in real terms. starting with this light rail project.

Comparing Jakande Nigeria when the Naira was stronger to today is silly, yes.. 6 billion dollars which is a fraction of what other developed cities of even less population spend on their infrastructures needs to spent annually in Lagos.. YES... All inner roads in the Lekki axis are built by governments (LG or State) the only roads constructed by Private estates are the few and far between.. And those can't even be called inner roads cuz their use are usually restricted I.e you can use them as a pass through. On Cost, it isn't stagnant, it changes with time.

What is the population of Cotonou, Monrovia, Freetown, Kigali and the rest you mentioned.. The pressure on their infrastructures, at what rate are they growing... Besides the fact that you just lied by saying the level of infrastructure in Freetown, cotonou is higher than Lagos... No basis for comparison...If Lagos was to get to the level of infrastructure obtained in other parts of the developed world.. It will need about 6 billion USD (convert it to naira) yearly to be spent on infrastructure alone for the next 10 years.. How much is the budget of the state in total.
There are a lot of nonsense criticism of the efforts of LASG when it is obvious it is still the best Government in Nigeria.. Including the FG, it uses the funds available to improve the quality of life of Lagosians, the most accommodating state...

The issue here is that folks that write this kind of "epistle" do not realise it is a mental illness that leads to suicide (chronic depression) before someone decides they are tired of this world.. Life must have sucked out life from them. I pray they find their creator's mercy in the hereafter.

The Florida-based company Sex Doll Genie saw orders spike by more than 51 percent during February and March — when lockdowns began in the US and other countries, Forbes reported.

“We have lots of products in stock but we can’t work fast enough to keep up with demand,” the company’s co-founder, Janet Stevenson, told the outlet. “We are hiring as quickly as we can and have created several new roles in fulfillment management and customer support in both the US and Europe.”

Stevenson said the company — which sells realistic-looking made-to-order dolls — has gotten “hundreds” more inquiries than usual in the past two months.
UK-based intimacy gadget manufacturer CMG Leisure has also found themselves short-staffed as sales have skyrocketed amid the pandemic, Forbes reports.

And demand isn’t just coming from single men, the demographic traditionally associated with the sex doll market.

“What’s interesting about this massive increase in demand is that we are also seeing a changing demographic which is very positive for the sex doll industry and speaks to changing attitudes at home.
