A few months after a secret employment exercise by the Central Bank of Nigeria was unearthed by SaharaReporters, another government agency has been hit by a similar scandal. This time the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), headed by Mr. Babatunde Fowler, a protege of Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) has been found to have overseen recruitment excercises in violation of Nigeria's rules of public advertisement.

FIRS, under Fowler, recently employed 3489 new staff. The recruitment exercise, SaharaReporters authoritatively gathered, was not preceded by a public advertisement of vacancies to be filled and approval by the Federal Character Commission as the service rules stipulate. The newly employed persons were inducted in Abuja last Wednesday. Fowler, who was appointed last August by President Muhammadu Buhari, had previously been accused of indifference to service rules on employment by secretly hiring 250 new staff. However, his accusers, could not make the charge stick, as he claimed those hired are not full-time employees but consultants.

The latest findings, however, are accompanied by substantial evidence including the list of new recruits, complete with their states of origin, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, academic qualifications, recommended ranks and proposed duty stations.

The list, exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, showed that six of the new recruits are of the position of deputy director, while 10 are assistant directors. Thirty-four others are of the rank of deputy manager, while the rest are made up of senior managers, managers, assistant managers and officers. All the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory are represented on the list. Akwa Ibom State, for example, got six slots, while Gombe has 13. Ondo State is a beneficiary of 13 slots. Lagos State, where Fowler hails from, was awarded 14 slots.

Katsina got 18, Kano 15 and Borno 23. Rivers State was given 14 slots. But in certain cases, the list does not show the states of origin and education qualifications of some of the new staff, making it difficult to know they states of origin and qualifications.

Wahab Gbadamosi, FIRS acting Director of Information, told a news website last week that relevant agencies of government approved the recruitment.

"Your enquiry on the targeted recruitment at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS refers. We wish to respond as follows: Please note that requisite agencies of government approved the targeted recruitment by the FIRS. Due Process -in recruiting into a Federal Government agency- was followed; The FIRS is a conscientious, law-abiding institution which adheres to statutory rules and procedures; The FIRS is focused on its duty to collect revenue to fund the national budget and pleads that it should be allowed to concentrate on its 2016 target of N4. 9 trillion,” he was quoted to have responded via email.

Noticeably absent from the mail, however, are whether the vacancies were advertised or not and the names of the relevant agencies that green-lighted the recruitment.

As with the CBN recruitment scandal, the list of employed persons reeks of nepotism.

Okay have always felt like sharing this to ladies out there. You can always feel good and cool when you are having your mensis.

For some ladies even as the day approach they start having several cramps,start getting worried and even nightmares yea a friend once told me that. It can be as bad as that.

Have you tried looking for solutions apart from those "red pills" and that tiny small white drug you do take ?

Well they are simple home remedies that I know works and can help you feel good when the visitor comes.

1 : Engage yourself in exercise ;
This shouldn't come a day or two before your mensis start that's just like rush hour techniques. Exercise once or twice a week it helps break those fats that can possibly block the flow.

2 : Eats lot of carrots ;
Yes carrots helps a lot to relieve pain apart from helping your eyes. You can make it into juice or dice it.

3 : Apply heat ;

You can either put small warm water in a bottle and sip from to time to time or put a bowl with warm water and place it beneath your legs or place the warm bottle below your abdomen and rub it gently.

4: Aloe Vera mixed with honey ;
This helps to keep you nerve calm and certainly reduce the cramps too.

5 : Take herbal tea ;
You can take e.g green tea or a good herbal tea you know. Make sure you take it when warm and without sugar.

6 : Milk ;
A lot of ladies when trying to avoid sugary things doing mensis also don't take milk. Well a glass of milk helps give you calcium which helps make you strong when you have cramps.

7 : Get a hot shower.

Hahaha I don't mean you use a water at boiling point o ... Not too hot and not too warm and if possible you can stay longer in the bath soak in the water(not soapy) for a while. Do not estimate this it works and gives relief.

Finally 8 : Relax your mind and just play it cool and don't act up(lot of ladies do that ) get a book to read or just try to sleep and ease off the stress when you are awake you will definetly feel better.

I had a personal experience today that marvelled me and I want to share it with you. I entered a bike after work today and the bike man told me this story I want to share with you now for everybody to be at alert for it is drawing near soon if we don't call upon our God now. The man told me that he was carrying an Hausa man today and both of them were discussing together, along the line the man asked him whether he is Igbo (I am staying at onitsha) and the man pretended and said that he is from kogi state and that made the man to feel at home to tell him this secret, that the reason many Hausa people are coming down to Eastern States now is to enable them fulfill their mission. The agenda is to make it easier for them to penetrate through these states in their vision of turning them all to Islamic States. He didn't stop there, he went further to say that many of the commercial bikes'men who are mostly hausas now were duly sponsored with bikes by big alhajis to enable them know every nook and cranny of these states, to roam every corner of Igbo land for their mission, that when their mission starts, it won't be hard to be accomplished. Many of them are doing some odd jobs like sewing, fetching water, selling fruits, etc pretending that it is a way of making both ends meet but actually they have a mission. They have been sent to villages even the most remote areas, many of them are now taking some of our sisters into marriages, pretending that they meant no harm but still nursing their mission in minds. He now turned and asked the bike man why he can't speak Hausa and the man answered that he didn't grow up at North, part of his life has been at East but he is a Muslim and he still felt relaxed and went on with his story. He said that, when that time comes, there won't be hiding place for Igbos because their spies will be everywhere being that they are on the job now,no place will be hard for them to discover, some of these churches will be turned to mosques and he kept saying that it will be very soon. The bike man told me that he was so afraid but tried to remain calm and composed in order to allow him finish up what he was saying. I, too was also afraid and I remembered that our Rev. said sometime last year that about five alhajis donated some millions of naira for this mission and we couldn't understand it then but thought it was a child's play but my brethren it is very real before us. We Christians have to rise up and pray, if not, I forsee danger. If this starts, where are we going to run to? our villages that supposed to be a kind of hiding place for some people are polluted too. Why I am using Whatsapp to spread this is because it is a bit safer for us because I know the numbers I have in my phone and the people I am sending it to know me well, if I should go through Facebook, they are there and they will know that their plans have been exposed thereby making them to turn to plan B or C. That is why I am using this medium to spread this, to alert people of God to be at alert. Send to real men of God that know where God's heart is, tell to as many as you know that can pray well, we need to pray because there is danger. We don't need prosperous speakers now, what we need are prayer warriors that can touch God's heart through prayers for God to turn all their plans into nothing. See what is happening today in our country, even fulani herdsmen kidnapping a Rev father and asking for ransom of 10m at Enugu. Agwo no na akirika. We need to rise up and pray now or perish. Since I came back, I wasn't myself. I kept pondering all these inside me and I decided to share it so that I will be a bit free to talk because I am dumbfounded. The bike man is my usual customer. Due to my work, he do pick me up some of the evenings when he comes around or I find my way when I don't see him. I am concerned people of God
