Not that I'm encouraging rude behaviour, is this Ngozi your friend? Does she know you from Adam? But that's the point of toasting, talking to a girl you have never met b4. Like everyone does it. Don't you eye guys a lot youurself? So what makes your style more moral than ours? Because you don't have the same impulses that boys have, doesn't mean you have to act so ethically yourself. |
What is your problem. . . . ever so eager to go on a "Nigerian Man vs. Nigerian Girl" battleDo you want me to stop? I will do anything for you. But seriously you know these type of thread leads to 8-9 pages, of course I like to play advocate. Moreover, I actually agree with you guys 100%, that girls get molested a lot- but then that isnt the topic of this thread. Sigh. . . . NL is really getting boringBut your posts never get boring to me. @theAmaka tell me about it, I'm out.And she out for like 1,2,3,4,5 seconds wow then she is back again. Ha |
WOW, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY. beating the girl for what?!?!?! is it her fault? they should have beaten the man!! i dont blame her for being hysteric. gosh, what a world. Its a man's world in Nigeria deal with it. But Yeah, I guess, I was never molested so I can't empathize anyways. But the thread is about girls refusing this poor guy from getting their numbers and then insulting him after that. How did child molestation come into play? This is so untrue.Tell me about it. These gals have some warped sense that makes them exaggerate all their experiences. What can one do? Born with them, you have to live with them. |
I don't know if that Yaba or Tejuosho market is still open in Lagos. You can't pass there without these men groping you. There was one day I shouted at a man because he just grabbed my hand. One mumu had the guts to tell me I should take it easy that they can just despoil you here, that I should just quietly go.LOL, Yaba market is wicked man. Used to buy my video games there when I was a young laddy. 250 naira a pop. |
Sefago, take a poll hereThese are the ones I feel sorry for. I however, feel unsorry for the ones walking around and getting molested. If you need to go anywhere- do so with someone older or with a trusted male family member. My younger sister is 14 and my mum would not let her go anywhere without me or my brother. Yes, my younger sister has gotten harassed by mallams/houseboys (which me and my brother have summarily beaten together ), but usually this happens when she is left to roam around by herself.Men can grab and grope a girl and nothing will happenI agree. But this isn't exclusive to naija men, but a lot of the third world. So blame the lack of a law in place to punish these molesters. Like every bad thing in Nigeria it all boils down to the politicians. |
Look at how quickly this thread has turned into a Nigerian men bashing thread Shocked Shocked^ stay we are outnumbered and outgunned |
Even the chauffered ones, the drivers will be getting the hots for youWhere did you get your statistics from? Right straight from your ar.s.e as I figured. |
here we go again, sigh. . .You are like the Orisha Deity Eshu, always appearing when there is trouble, and always presiding over trouble |
As evinced by the testimonies here, perhaps the focus should be on the kinds of men these babes attract. Isn't it somewhat telling of their standards. I won't brag or say I've got a unique swag but girls I've toasted have never been visibly apoplectic sha.Exactly. |
Then most of y'all are lower classNo, just because you were harassed by a couple of houseboys/mallam doesn't make all Nigerian men harassers. I get harassed by Nigerian women all the time. Do you want me to start recounting stories? |
I hate ugly people. I think that covers it. |
But these aren't like usual nigerian men, these are the lower classes though |
last time I heard that, I was like 6. . . . .by a Mallam in Lagos.Kai u are that cheap |
And I remember this 30-something yr old man that used to bother me, OMG! I was only 10 oo Grin Grin |
E pain you?LOL, no sweetheart, I just feel sad for you ![]() |

Unwanted touching and grabbing of females out in the Nigerian market-place doing their shopping is still too widespread in Nigerian society today. Some of these Nigerian men bring it over with them to UK or USA as Kate Ukezue and Elizabeth Nwankwo recounted in their articles about Nigerian men. These Nigerian men are taking a big risk and could end up in police handcuffs. From a blog I was reading ![]() Some Nigerian men make the mistaken assumption that if they are on friendly terms with a woman it is ok to touch her body – I have had this happen to me and I think it is very wrong. Nigerian men should understand that by behaving this way, they are taking the risk of being reported to the police and getting arrested. It is also true that some Nigerian men come on too strong – persistently hitting on a girl that has rejected him ten times already and still trying to chat her up. Maybe it’s time to leave the poor girl alone?never, never quit, Winston Churchill |
Its a pure lack of etiquette and manners Grin Cheesy. Toasting is our right! Whether you accept or refuse is up to y'all but be gracious about it. Some of them would rather act like skeezers just to prove their pointThis reminds e of a lyric to apopular lagbaja song: "Na my right to ask you, and its yout right to refuse." It makes sense though the girls should just say no- however, Nigerian men dont take no for an answer. Women from civilized countries deal with men from civilized countries. Nigerian women deal with nigerian men. You have to adjust. |
maybe because u did not match the taste of the girl. If the girl wanted to do she would not pour insults. |
All these GRE nuts.Go away and toast babes in the Romance section. We guys have figured out that nerds get all the girls ![]() |
Hi guys,TU Delft is a good school and quite better in reputation than any of the schools you applied to except for UT Austin. Now considering job prospects- TU Delft is in Holland- Royal Dutch shell is a dutch company, put two and two together- yes, TU Delft is probably the number one choice for recruiting engineers in Shell, and BP and such. As for America, I dont know about the opportunities for getting a Job- what I heard was very very hard to get a job compared to any other place. You would also have to apply for a work visa and stuff which is hard in America. If you get a scholarship at TU Delft, you should definitely consider it. |
^ LOL that is not what I am talking about. Seems that is what you were thinking, your subconscious has the problem of showing itself. I was talking about the style of Islam practiced in the North which would not allow a child reduce their islamic activities as described in the article. |
Olabowale is from the South and he is a very conservative muslim. Jarus is from the North but he is a liberal muslim. Your response made me recall this thread below: , U must be kidding right- or are you trying to elicit responses? You are giving me online people as examples? Islam as practiced in the North is quite different from that of the south. This isn't a generalization, this is reality. A few exceptions to the rule, does not mean a rule of thumb is worng. |
What difference does it make?U know why i said that. There is a major difference between the Islam practiced in the North and that in the South. I dont feel like going into the historical details but they are quite obvious. Its weird for a conservative muslim to say that. |
LOL , Ok, I get you dont like men. ![]() Anyhow myself, I was trying to imitate bk_bay99 but it isn't really working. I usually think before I start typing. |
^ LOL, definitely these are not Hausa muslims though ![]() |
Dont mock meIs it a sin to tell the truth? |
