PoliticsRe: We Should Decriminalise Homosexuality In Nigeria by SEFAGO(m): 9:15pm On Dec 31, 2010
darwin's theory has been subjected to criticism because man is a spiritual being unlike other animals.
I dont understand what concrete evidence you ahve to show that man is spiritual. Nothing shows that man transcends the basest animal. When man is hungry he will eat, when he needs to sleep he does so, he succumbs to his basic desires just like any animal. He has restraint, yes, but his restraint is limited.

You are not spiritual. You are an animal. i probably have a bigger brain than you, but that does not make me special or make me more "spiritual"

one on d escape routes of d confused Darwin, who could not explain certain things he himself did not understand. . .God pass am grin grin grin grin
FYI, Darwin's theory of evolution has been proven and is used by molecular biologists who mutate genes. The existence of GOD on the otherhand is unprovable, and we wait proof. The only person who has comeout with a proof is another scammer Oyibo with his God almighty formula  grin

Anyways not to get off-topic. You guys are too dumb to understand there is nothing wrong with Homos and so no reason to criminalise them, even if I shove evidence up your arse.

I'm sorry, but you're seriously fooling yourself if you think you will reach Nigerians with this approach.

Anyway, I find it very unsmart (not a real word, but my use of it just goes to show how 'ugh' [also not a real word] this discussion is) of a Nigerian (assuming the OP is one) to really raise this topic, especially when there are a host of true issues to attend to that are much much more important than a single sub-subculture.
Homosexuality stems from one thing- ignorance and a lack of intellectual discourse about our beliefs and culture

Corruption Stems from one thing- ignorance and a lack of intellectual discourse about our beliefs and culture

Corruption is the precursor of the majority of problems in Nigeria. I see a pattern here, the fact that we are unable to defend our laws is a major issue.

the guy is a confusionist.man is more than what he categorised him to be;a spiritual being but darwin didnt acknowledged that.i hope the devil

is treating his Zap up for him.
What arrogance!!! Man is no more than animal with the gift of reason. We eat/sleep/procreate/Die. What makes you so special? Because you have the ability to argue that, I would allow it, a  unique gift of reason- places you at the top of the pyramid of organisms

What arrogance to think you are more than animal.

gbam. . .and Darwin died one day with all his arguments.bloke is dust now
Everyone knows they are going to die . . . life is all vanity upon vanity. The Living know they shall die but the dead know not. Regardless none of us know where we are going to after our existence cool

Do we actually exist or do we think we exist. For all I know you dont exist and are just a figment of my imagination.

If it's about darwin, abeg free me .i have no respect  for him at all.
Why? Do you have a counterargument? Are you a bible-wielding creationist?

I hope you know tomorrow is new year. You should in church, dancing and singing loudly

You need to read the Origin of species for better understanding of how we came about.
bluetooth no go understand that kain book. That book is thick man. Even my mensa certified brain cannot still understand Darwin's arguments. Abeg the bible is easier to understand. God created Adam and Eve from dust/thin air  grin

Too much swagger

Nothing to show for it

Overeducated ko Overeducation ni
All you need is a lot swagger, you dont need to have anything to back up that swagger  cool

It all about appearances and not contents. Anyways let me teach you some stuff inbtw.

Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your
grandparents had a different word for burger flipping
     they
     called it Opportunity.
I dont mind flipping burgers but I dont think Mcdonalds would be eager to hire someone with a B.S. Get the point, overeducation- companies unwilling to hire you because they think your skills might be overspecialized and not useful in industry.

Its not me that has a problem with the job, it would be the company.

What companies seek are people with personal and communication skills and work experience they dont work people with tons of degrees, and might be put off by such individuals. That is what overeducation means

PoliticsRe: Relocation To Nigeria From The Uk 2011. Am I Mad Or Is It Possible ? by SEFAGO(m): 6:44pm On Dec 29, 2010
Three Two questions :

1. Do you think I am mad ? if yes state why

No, you are not Mad for coming back. You will not be the first nor the last. How long have you been gone? Then that would determine how fast you can adjust. Anyways teh UK is no more than Nigeria with some white people IMO, but that is another discussion  grin

2. What are the possible challenges?

Consistently comparing Nigeria to the UK. You are going to be whining like a little b/i/t/c/h about how efficient everything in the UK is compared to Nigeria.

3. For a good Job, how much is enough monthly, 2M million Naira a month ?

No 2 million is what a clerk in Nigeria earns. You should set your sight on 1 billion a month. Maybe you think Naira and Ghana cedis have the same value  grin

Entry level Drilling engineer, Exxon Mobil, Nigeria

Renumeration: N 9.6 million/year

Job Risks: Being kidnapped by awon boys and being ransomed (unlikely if you are black).

Kobojunkie:
No it is not, but thanks for trying!
No worries, however, there are some jobs that pay in the 800,000-1 million naira a month zone but they are all in oil companies. Since you are not an engineer (you have never displayed the analytical finesse of one) I dont think there is much you can do in nigeria that can earn that type of money grin

Finance companies in Nigeria pay decently.

He went back home to work as an aide to the minister of petroleum.
No job offers from abroad would have kept him out of Nigeria. This is a dude whose dad was personal physician to presidents.
yep his dad was actually the first Obgyn in Nigeria. Awesome job though- not really the personal physician of presidents but their wives grin

Also, I am not looking for you to convince me that it is possible, I am looking for specifics . . . what companies, what positions etc. nothing less
Exxon Mobil, Chevron Texaco, NNPC, Oanda, Nigerian Breweries (MD), British American Tobacco (MD), KPMG (MD), Accenture (MD), Ernst & Young (MD), Major banks in Nigeria (MD), e.t.c

specific enough for u  grin

Most oil companies pay 4-5 million naira even for recruits from abroad. Makes sense, the average engineer in America earns 60-70,000 dollars (8.4 million naira) though there is a difference in purchasing parity costs.
PoliticsRe: Relocation To Nigeria From The Uk 2011. Am I Mad Or Is It Possible ? by SEFAGO(m): 5:47pm On Dec 29, 2010
@Poster, what company pays N2 million a month these days in Nigeria? Could you please share so those of us out here can move back too to get a piece of that pie?
Companies do pay that amount but they are usually oil companies, and they pay it to people with significant work experience. I know a couple of people who earn those kind of big bucks. Infact I worked for one long tym ago. Even with his 1 milla a month though he was still hustling. Makes sense- send your kids to private school+pay to live in VI/Ikoyi lagos areas+ maintain other stuff and 1 milla is nothin.

2 million naira a month c ur mouth grin grin grin

No b only 2 million naira a month. Add rolls royce to your job benefits grin

2 million naira a year is fit to live in Nigeria, however you will have to find the kind of job that will pay you that

His teachers at 'ifasity' of Ilorin would be full of angst were they to see his 'impeccable' writing style.

Best believe the hype mehn, even Feynman admitted that much. Berkeley is awesome!
Are you a physicist? I dont like physics too much theory undecided

Well in terms of research at the graduate level there are only two school in this world (The Big H and Berkeley british people like to claim oxbridge). I am really iffy about their undergraduate. The people I have met who have or went for a PhD at Berkeley are geniuses though like for real, not my big mouthed joking kind of way, like actual academic beasts. I dont think I will ever be that smart undecided. But at least I can boast how smart I am grin. That's way easier.

Back to topic- Total world domination by Africans (Yeah right)

What do you think we should call the currency? Yourba Naira cool, and I think the national dress for the United States of Africa should be aso ebi. Just saying
PoliticsRe: We Need A ''United States Of Africa'' by SEFAGO(m): 5:45am On Dec 28, 2010
I think UC Berkeley is prolly one of the greatest schools on planet earth, better than 'hafard' in certain respect
U switched UCLA to berkeley huh. Well personally thats the majority of people's view. I dont really believe the berkeley hype though.

However none of them have produced anyone in the same intellectual sphere as University of Ilorin. Come which school in the world can boast of an alum as brilliant as Becomrich, a full graduate of electricity engineering
PoliticsRe: We Need A ''United States Of Africa'' by SEFAGO(m): 5:31am On Dec 28, 2010
You go to a state school? how did you do on the SATs?
Wow arrogance nothing wrong with state school if its Michigan, Berkeley or UVA

that picture tell you, we dont need one.

In africa, they would kill themself.
Anyone who can dialogue with becomrich, and comeout unscathed must be brilliant

Becomrich abeg make one of your monologue threads again abeg. Only you and beaf understand each other  grin
PoliticsRe: We Need A ''United States Of Africa'' by SEFAGO(m): 4:57am On Dec 28, 2010
If you are talking about the India/Pakistan/Bangladesh issue, that is another story. That problem was caused by British colonialism. Pakistanis speak Urdu which is exactly similar to India's national language Hindi. They are the same language and the people of Pakistan have a common history with India. The only difference is religion. The people are basically the same.
huh Not true ooooooh. The people from India/Pakistan have different ethnic groups. What about tamils, punjabis and bengalis, they are all different like yoruba, igbo hausa.
PoliticsRe: We Need A ''United States Of Africa'' by SEFAGO(m): 4:56am On Dec 28, 2010
Why not put Nigerian on your resume? Haven't you people heard of Affirmative Action?
Thanks bros, this works like a charm for Nigerians who know how to use it.

United States of Africa can work. Of couse allow some sort of self-autonomy would have to be given to people. However it would make sense to let Yorubas be the rulers since we are of superior stock.

Note- fstranger/lagbaja how I did nto use the word "race"
