NwaforIgbo: I am just appreciating a good thing when I see one.. Chekina it is fair to appreciate good things but truth is there are some good things that don't deserve our appreciation. when it is about our politicians nothing good to be appreciated. truly, appreciating that thing is like justifying the evil behind the scene. the financial paper projection and the invisible cash flow (embezzled finance) is not worth but good enough to change the narratives of those kids on the street. I'm not on here to attack you but it is high time we start holding our leaders accountable and responsible, channelling our resources and tax payers funds rightly. |

xProfx: The quality of the conference room is only as useful as the decisions that come out of there and how positively it impacts the life of the common Imolite or Nigerian, so forget the competition cos it doesn't help the common citizen in any way...
That's the British house of commons (of the entire UK) and there's nothing exquisite about it, yet the the quality of ideas they generate there is second to none. They don't place their own comfort above the citizens' needs. thanks and God bless. I will ask the op, how does that conference hall change the narratives of that state? how does it change the narratives of that poor kid on the street hawking wears? bunch of fools that are meant to be on the drawing board strategising for the liberation of their yet unborn generations (children) celebrating the failure of our leaders. little do I argue 'the Nigerian youths are lazy' because this ones proving and justifying that statement. |

No one is willing to lose 70% of their assets as taxes and bribes bringing it back into Nigeria in any other form but cash. If I say I want to invest the money I have saved for the last 7 years working like a mule to buy a tractor and a truck to move things. I will end up paying a huge amount as tax, and if I bring cash I will still have to buy imported lower quality equipment. most lose asset returning to Nigeria success is more important. |

Leshurr: Point 5 is pretty much self explanatory... but to expand further, ... Nigerian churches abroad are toxic because everything bad about Nigeria is practised there; mediocrity, corruption, nepotism, classism, hypocrisy, wickedness, envy, arrogance etc.. The focus is neither on God, nor attaining righteousness but rather on showing off, making money and being rewarded with titles in within the organisation (church). ... This is why you'd see economically disadvantaged people who actually live in council houses, dressing like millionaires in church whilst looking down on others who are just as poor as they are.. respect and honor is given to the most superficial of things. invariably an extension of the Nigerian society, now I understand better. thanks for this. E ko ere oko délé o. |

A few fans met Messi driving his car near Camp Nou and asked him to stay at Barca.
"The God of football!", "You're great Messi!", "The best in history!", "Please don't go Leo! Don't leave, stay!",
"Please stay! Otherwise my dad will be angry!", "If you leave, my father won't love me anymore!" they were saying.
Leo smiled after one of the fans begged him to stay and drove away moments later.

this man is just a sell out, doing the bidding as usual. there has not been last minute attitude but the nasty system we had on ground. I am currently having nin form with me at home, it's been with me since early last year if I'm not mistaken here. went to their head office, was told due to logistics (power - even no generating set to work with) they can't attend to me, but go to other cell center (smaller unit) to get it done. it was on getting to the gtbank close to me I was told they've relocated. from the head office, they don't even know or do I say no information of such relocation. I bought the form like instructed, waited, only to be told between 10 and 11am they've CT closed for the day (just imagine such - closing 11am for the days job). after couldn't return there until October. returned there October was to they can't attend to fresh forms, for their hands are already filled. they can only start attending to fresh forms this year April only for covid19 to come intervene. everyone is making effort but the system itself is evil. so this man that don't know what people are going through should keep quiet. |

As if Amokashi is not patriotic in questioning the rationale of inserting such humongous Dollars$ amount for the man. Lovethaa: Ofcourse ,if being a simp doesn't pay ..your dad won't have met your Mom who gave birth to you. if, finding peace and happiness makes one a simp then being a simp forever would be my surest option. some individuals would just wake to plant a seed of sadness and evil for themselves, go on watering it to become a monster that would hunt them till infinite. same way a friend told me a friend told him chose not to trust his wife as a due to infidelity. as a result he chose not to ever trust his wife. immediately I disliked him, this idiotic fellow is leaving of this same woman you chose not to trust. though I disabused his to stop such evil. funny enough the wife in question is still having single guys and men suitors that will to settle down with her even after two kids, people that are stable enough to own her responsibility and that of her kids. soon as they discovered my idiotic friend is still roaming the streets they pressurise to leave him for but this very elegant woman (upon say my wife fine, I still dey trip for her), would she okay with my idiot friend. the roams section on nairaland as turn a beer parlour that reasonable and descent fellow should stay off. |

Estrella366: Hello Nairalander, I would like to know the circumstances that could make it possible for a person who is yet to visit any of the NIMC offices or outlets either online or offline for the purpose of registering for the NIN get the NIN?
I have never made any prior efforts to register for the NIN stuff, however out of curiosity I tried entering the NIMC's NIN registration verification code *346# via my Etisalat phone number and to my surprise the system returned a positive answer with an eleven digit NIN.
So what are the possible technical reasons for this?
Thanks for your suggested answers.
Update## I tried to see if I could verify the number on the NIMC website and di scovered that the site is down with message reading indicating "FORBIDDEN "black black bla that sim card you are using is recycled, it's very possible someone else has used it before. my first even line got lost a few years ago, every effort to retrieve it was futile, mind you line is currently in use by someone somewhere I don't know. |
