You should have looked into these words rather: yawn (yan), me (mi), owl (owi[wi], etc. as close words in English and Yoruba.

DEAR CLASSMATES😥
Some of us didn't further our education after secondary school some of us further to university some of us got married yet some of us are not married. Some of us are still struggling with life, some of us are already settled 😅.
Some of us are still finding it difficult to eat two square meals in a day. Some of us have traveled abroad. Some of us went back to village, some of us have seen real hell and still facing hell some are also dead dont forget n some of us the last time we sat in a classroom was the last day we wrote our secondary school exams, in Short life is not cool to everyone.😅
The fact that u are settled and doing well doesn't mean others are in the same page with u when ever u call or run into ur old classmate, let the conversation be simple!! That we are still alive should be a thing to celebrate ✌.
Stop making ur friends feel less valued because u are married, Engaged or done with school.
Life is filled with ups and downs.
Life can turnaround💯
Never forget that you once had a best family in the local government of secondary School, remember how we all used to be.. remember who used to help you out in exam Hall..
Remember that most of the exams we wrote back then was not just about your intellectual effort but the collective efforts of your fellow classmates.
Just remember how we used to fight for each other and even answered present for each other in our absence in class.
What about how we helped one another during the compound work days? This is the time you have to pay and show your classmates some love now that you are in a better position.
You can stretch your hands and be a blessing to your fellow classmates instead of mocking them simply because you're in a better position than them..
Life is not predictable.
Be Nice and stay alert and firm..

NEW BREEDS OF FIRE BRAND ACTIVISTS FROM THE PULPIT

It was my opinion that, Pastors were either sleeping or minding their own businesses in the past in Nigeria, but not anymore. Things are rapidly changing as regards this previous notion of mine. Hear me well, 'true pastors ought to be activists against all forms of physical attacks and demonic oppressions.'

Apst Johnson Suleman of Omega fire ministries and Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis are two Pastors that are setting the pace for a new generation of pastors that will not fear, rather, they will speak with authority against the odious and hideous practices of our diabolic and manipulative politicians.

As a people, we are gradually growing in might. One day, no faction, fraction or syndicate group will be strong enough to pull down the wills and wishes of the people. One day, someday, the masses will wheeled power because (the) power belong(s) to the people in an ideal democratic dispensation.

Nigeria in 3 Paragraphs_by Seiyefa John

Nigeria is several independent regions set against themselves for the post atop. A tussle of who head who? Who become the constudian of what? And who have say over our common wealth and well-being.

Nigeria is a formation of different regions that are set up against themselves to compete. As a region you either compete or complain until you get dominated by other domineering regions.

Nigeria is a formation of diverse independent regions bind(ed) together to work towards achieving interdependence. But that is never the intent of some regions that daily politic to remain in position of dominance.

I have a dream that a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 will emerge as our country; where our Youths will stand for their right(s) without fear or favour.

I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 were there will be freedom of speech. I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 where nations of the world 🌎 will seek to become citizens 🇳🇬 I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 where our brothers and sisters that flew out of the country will come back proud to be called Nigerians in their fatherland.

I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 where investors will come in their millions to invest 🇳🇬 I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 where the Youths will be united as one not minding their cultural and tribal differences. I see a new Nigeria 🇳🇬 where the elderly will give chance for our children to rule.

I see a Nigeria 🇳🇬 where people will stop being hypocrites 🤔 covering under religion, but rather do the right thing. ✅️A place where our children, grandchildren and unborn generations will be proud to call home. So help us God.

PoliticsSlaves In Our Fatherland: I Have Seen A Modern Settlement... by seiyefajohn(op): 8:23pm On Feb 20, 2023
SLAVES IN OUR FATHERLAND

We were told that slavery has ended, just as the killing of twins was abolished centuries ago. But no it hasn't. I have seen a people and a place, a modern settlement of slaves called Nigerians (in Nigeria) somewhere in Africa.

Who is a slave? A person or people under cohaxion to do or accept things against their will. Nigerians have become slaves in their fatherland called Nigeria. Someone should please enable me see otherwise, for this is how I see the spate of things.

This purported slavery ought to be a shame, but no it is not because it is a deliberately orchestrated enslavement. Nigerians are active and aggressive, but we are also willing to take any shit without rebelling; that's why there isn't any real change in our system and society.

Take it or leave it, if our forefathers were as docile in their days as we are today; they won't have been able to achieve the autonomy and sovereignty that we have today as a nation. If they were fearful as us, there obviously won't have been a sovereign nation called Nigeria.

If our ancestors were lazy as we are today, they won't have been able to face the whites in fierce fights in their days; that led to our present day independence. Nigerians of Nigeria, when shall we wake up and wheeled the power that truly belong to us?

Democracy is a people oriented system of government/governance, so why are the people, the true owners of power relegated to the background like paupers? While a handful of people prominently occupy positions of power in the foreground. Why the exclusion? Why the segregation? Why the discrimination? Why the suppression and manipulation of the people?

Very funny comment. But thank you for the insult tho. I no de crace Sir/Ma and no need for violence or aggression.

Leave POS people alone, focus more on your elites who have made it impossible for us to live free and meaningful lives in our fatherland.

Wake up and brace up. POS operators are humans like you, they are also desperately in need of cash like you and i. If you feel frustrated about the situations protest to your Aso Rock.

Yesterday I went around for cash, I went to over 19 POS' but no money. Finally, I got one later in the evening, if that POS person charge me high, i need not be angry cuz i don'tknow where he got the money from.

All am saying is, them sef no get cash. Leave them alone, no de suffer us, redirect your anger to the right channel.

Thank you.
BusinessPOS Operators New Scheme by seiyefajohn(op): 10:25pm On Feb 19, 2023
My polite disagreement against people blaming POS operators.

Nope, I totally, but politely disagree with your assertion. Instead of 'we are our own problem' I will say, 'we are in a problem.'

Even the POS operators have no access to cash as you and i. They struggle to get or buy cash, so they can sell and survive through their purported business.

My point is, let's not blame us (POS operators.) Let's rather blame them who deliberately came up with this devious, diabolic and devilish policy that has plunged us into both economic and emotional quagmire.

Just my opinion.

"I have never seen elites as dumb as the ones we have in Nigeria." Because of rivalry between rivals, policy that will plunge the nation into crisis is authoritatively implemented at the detriment of the citizenry.

I am the son of a nobody!

Denied
Robbed
Manipulated
Lied to
Segregated
Disadvantaged...

I was told that tomorrow is mine,
but my tomorrow has been mortgaged before I could get to it.

Like a termite in the labyrinth of lost hope
I wallow in confusion wondering where my hope will come from...

So, today I found it.
I saw my hope riding like a king upon his chariot...
Decked with promises, aspiration, compassion, and the burden to fix what was broken.

So, I ran towards him!
I could be stopped, yet I ran.
I could fall down, but I ran.
I could be shot.., I know I won't.
I ran...

With my hands stretched out, wide-open
I ran towards him.
I couldn't hug him, but hope hugged me... Faith kissed my chicks, and the pureness in his heart flowed from him to me when he cast his gaze upon me with such a beautiful smile

He didn't say a word but all he said was heard ...

I can hear him saying weep not child, your future won't be stolen no more.
Hold steady my child, this victory is for you and every citizen.
The sun will rise again
You will walk in the rays of a beautiful sun.
I will make you proud before the comity of nations...
You will stand up tall and boldly say, I am a Nigerian.

I looked at him again and silently said.., so be it papa...
So be it!!
