Jeezuzpick: So what would you have done differently?
I'm sure you would have dealt her a few slaps and kicks to her stomach, and been set for a long time in prison.
It's not Nigeria, dude!
Face the reality of life out there. Knowing what the law there is and how it oddly favors the women, I will never attempt to beat her. But I must have made plans prior to that day in preparation for such a day. If you are a strategist, you will know that one of the greatest ways of winning is by preparing for the worst while expecting the best. So right from the onset, I will never allow the woman in my life to have so much power and/or authority over me and my affairs. My guess is that the man must have failed woefully in this regard. Most probably, he must have allowed 'love' and pussy to make him sign away most of his life to the woman. Whenever you're dealing with a woman as a man, never you allow her beautiful face or soft body distract you from the terryfing fact that you COULD be dealing with a MONSTER who is out to destroy you at any time. So you have to always have that in mind and put her in her rightful place from ab initio. I think the man has failed in doing that which is why he is reaping what he sowed now. You will agree with me that the woman did not just wake up and start throwing the man's things away. Something must have led to something and as a correct man, once I notice that her behavior towards me has started skewing to the wrong side, I will put all my plans in motion. |

MedicH: If you're the man what will u do? Well, I don't know who they are neither do I know their background or what their problem really is but I feel like the man must have in one or the other, made her feel so comfortable that she can fuck_ with him and still get away with it. My mother will always tell me that the same teeth a dog uses to play is the same teeth he uses to bite. The earlier you make a woman is your life realize this very important life fact, the better for you. Then secondly, there is every possibility that the man relaxed and allowed the woman to take charge of their life which might have given the woman the audacity to do such a thing. If you noticed, the man's voice was rather of a pleading tone which suggests that he doesn't have the upperhand in the game, or he is just too soft. |

You can't really explain it because what gives one happiness may not necessarily be what gives the other person happiness. A typical example is Tinubu and Atiku diehard supporters. No matter how much you try to understand them, you will never completely understand why they have decided NOT to become obidient. |

OrdinaryNigeria: Everyone at the top has job and admission slots. If u ve equal religion at the top, equal slot. Jus to inform you if you assume u dont know So your life is all about admissions and job slots? Okay, assuming you are a christian or moslem, how many job slots and admissions have you gotten since Jonathan, Obasanjo, Osinbajo, Yar'Adua or Buhari has been in power, if I may ask? I've told you, the earlier you start focusing on the Big Picture which is good governance, the better it is going to be for everyone. When you have good governance, your entire life is not going to be all about getting job slots and admissions anymore. Last warning to you: Become obidient. |

OrdinaryNigeria: Wen the Moslem are sharing all the lucrative jobs, u ll have to change ur name to a cleaner in federal government job even with ur far better grade credentials.
They sit in security meetings, only them and decide wat we are getting today. Ask ursef, wat is the plan in an all moslem security meeting that people are getting picked without penalty.
Even Somalia is better than us So you really believe that having a christian somewhere in the mix will stop the moslems in power who want to share lucrative jobs to their fellow moslem members from doing so? Focus on good governance and go for candidates whom you feel can deliver such. Because under good governance, you won't even remember whether a christian or a moslem is in power. If you're against him, then, you don't want good for Nigeria and wanna keep suffering
Forget tribalism and trying to vote someone that's from your state, it's all about the person that can do the job irrespective of where he comes from.
Please Nigerians on Nairaland,! please!
Fuel price just hiked, many more are escalating too Peter Obi is so lucky to be running at a time when his major opponents are oldies like Tinubu and Atiku who are also often perceived to be too corrupt. It should be a walk over for him, most especially if the youths, who are poised to take back their country, come out to vote for him en masse |

The only problem is that I can't see you, otherwise I would have suggested we bet 10k naira , but I will quote you on Wednesday to remind you of the result of the press conference by ASUU For the records, there are two things that may happen tomorrow: 1). The press conference may be cancelled! 2). The press conference may hold and among many things that will be said, ASUU will insist that FG should sign the agreement before them and they are ready to resume work, if that is done! Okay, let's keep our fingers crossed. |

Literature › Re: Don't Fall Into The Trap Of Okadabooks! by sekem: 8:06am On Jul 18, 2022 |
Crayfish09: I have a simple solution for this argument. I challenge you and every other person that disagrees with me to open Okadabooks app and click on any category. You will keep scrolling and scrolling for ages before you find any PAID book that has up to 20 reads. Just go there and check. You can't tell me that 99% of the authors on Okadabooks are not writing great stories.
Also, my main problem with the site is not the fact that I'm not making big sales. My problem is their use of limits. Why make #10,000 the minimum amount one can withdraw when you know that the vast majority of authors don't make half as much as that (even if they all write bad books)? Mind you, it is with these same bad books that my fellow okadabooks author once made it to the top 100 bestsellers on amazon's BDSM erotica niche. Do you think Nigerians are better judges and critics than the whites?
It's simply a way to keep all of our royalties when we eventually give up (just like I have) after publishing more than 30 books on the site. You know what? On the top of this very section, there is a thread where authors on Okadabooks are dropping the links to their books. Why don't you go and look how their books are faring? Is it likely that all of them have bad books?
If there are too many bad books on your site and the bad authors are not making enough sales, then reduce the minimum amount so that the bad authors can eat as well instead of punishing them with slave labour. Why keep their money even if they are no longer interested in using your site to market their bad books?
Does it not surprise you that books from someone as accomplished as Chimamanda Adichie haven't generated up to 1 million naira on the site while the same books have netted more than a million dollars on Amazon alone?
I admit that I sound like a sore loser, but just take your time and conduct a survey for authors on Okadabooks or simply explore the various categories in their site I read somewhere that their minimum withdrawal limit is now ₦5000. How true is that? According to okadabooks, the reason why they don't make withdrawal limit as low as ₦1000 is because they want to avoid unneccessary bank charges. Makes a little sense, or don't you think so? I want to withdraw sharperly. |

sinkhole: Some truth, laced with lies There is press conference schedule for Tuesday, but it is to make some clarifications as to many lies being peddled by Ngige and his team! This strike will continue for as long as the FG is ready to wait before implementing the agreed agreement Story. Just watch and see. They will temporarily suspend the strike on that Tuesday press conference. ASUU and strike na 5 & 6. The pattern has always been the same thing. ASUU will go on strike. When hunger begins to waya dem due to stoppage of salaries, dem go suspend the strike. Only for them to pick up the strike from where they stopped some other time. In all these petty games ASUU and FG are always playing between themselves, I pity the Nigerian students because na dem na suffer am pass. |

HarunaWest: Who locked SS and NC for LP. Don't compare Osun Election with Nigeria's Election. Gaskiya we all know that Oyetola was rigged in with remote control. Now the people just gave him a straight red. He was never a popular candidate so he can't command any followership. To win elections, you need structures in place. It will shock you to know that NNPP has a superb structure when compared to Labour Party. Obi is a good man, i don't know his antecedents, but if he doesn't have a solid structure, things will get rough for him. He should work on alliances and make compromises. The people are the structure. Once you have the support of the people, you have the best structure you can ever imagine. This is the open secret why the other contestants are afraid of the obidient movement. |
