Yoruba people are truly blessed with human resources. In Nigeria they have sound people like Fashola. Abroad they have been serially elected into leadership position. However they want to present to us a man that can be said to be the worst governor of Lagos since 1999... simply because he knows how to use his money to install people into offices for rent seeking. Buhari would be a thousand times better than tinubu. Buhari has one thing Tinubu doesn't...that is an anti corruption reputation. Tinubu has nothing buhari doesn't. For we are not sure Tinubu learnt anything from university |

I even treated you with respect on my recent thread about the guy kicked out of the mall. You the one who went looking for trouble over there undermining SA cultures - as you just admitted you hate everything South African so this was your opportunity to vent.
So I think you the one with the problem. I'm not gonna sit and take it when people disrespect my country and people. Nairaland is an online platform accessable to all corners of the globe and it is for that reason people like IronGalaxy, JaceBlaze and I refuse to let unfair anti-SA propaganda to go unchallenged. Respect is a two-way street. I am not the one with the problem. I have never been to south Africa...I have no intention what's so ever to visit SA in the near future. I don't know any south African forums...I don't have any south African friends. I don't use any south African product that I know of and I have no family and friends living in South Africa. So ask me why would I dislike a country I have no connection to? It's because of people like you here. It's because the stories coming out of your country ain't good. You again boldly state that most Nigerians in SA are not respectable! How did you come up with that statistics? From University of Shaka Zulu? Your country has an image problem. ThumbzTNA: Landmass occupied by Igbo whether in SE or SS is already igboland. For example, I as an Igbo man feel more comfortable building a house in Asaba (whether it's in SE or SS) than building one in Otukpo or Calabar
In my humble opinion, what Igbo in SS need is to have a state to themselves, but said state will still remain in the SS. They shouldn't share a state with other tribes. It's true that igbo people from SS are always torn between agenda of the ND and that of Igbo. That's what brings about identity crises. Having a state that is made up of Delta North, Rivers East and Rivers West (Igbo and igboid group in the South South) is the best for everyone. The minority tribes are happy because they finally have their state to themselves. The Igbo are happy because they are finally in a state with one identity and destiny. Everyone wins states cannot be created for any other zone in the south except SE. This is because only one state can be allowed in the south now. So would you rather that state be created for SS? Nobody in NASS will even support that. So the argument should be...the south has one shot at state creation which is to give the SE one extra state. Now the SE must decide where that state would be carved from. |

ThumbzTNA: Let's do the math since politics is a game of numbers
What we have now is
5 SE states with 3 senators each = 15 igbo senators + 3 Igbo senators from SS (Delta North, Rivers West and Rivers East)
=
18 senators
What you are proposing 5 SE states x 3 senators each = 15 + 3 Anioma senators (when Anioma is added to the SE) = 18 + 2 Igbo Rivers senators
=
20 senators
What I'm proposing 6 SE states x 3 senators each = 18 + 3 Igbo senators from SS (Delta North, Rivers West and Rivers East, even if these 3 senatorial districts are merged to be become a state in the SS)
=
21 senators so because of one additional senator, you want us to overlook the landmass addition to SE? The population addition to SE and the general better visibility Anioma will bring....I don't even want to tell you how it helps our unity of purpose. Also ND have their own agenda and the senators you mentioned will always go with Niger Delta agenda unless they are moved to SE zone |

ThumbzTNA: In my own humble opinion, I'd rather they joined Delta North to Rivers South East and Rivers East to form a 100% igbo state in the South South in what way do you think that's feasible when the only reason a state is being considered for SE is to make it have 6 states and increase the southern states from 17 to 18 against the norths 19 plus Abuja? Or you don't know the new states will get seats in NASS? |

Politics › Re: The 6th South East State: Etiti State by selemempe: 10:16am On Mar 29, 2021 |
Most igbos will only support Anioma state. The reason I believe is because of ongoing Igbo nationalism.
We want to bring as much Igbo people together into one political arrangement.
We are not like the yorubas who have a voice already in Nigeria since after the civil war.
Anioma has Asaba and Delta has Warri...so that alone gives Anioma an edge over Etiti state. Anioma would also be the largest state in South East and would significantly increase our land

How does technology or the world belong to westerners?
The only reason the world might tend to copy west I because of they're the present world power thats all.
Most scientific invention was done by Europeans .infact European needed to colonize the so-called western world you worship like ...
Iran in the time of Persians was also world power. Everyone tends to copy them and the I ways. Romans were once the world power so everyone even till today make reference of Greek philosophers till date. The way you see USA is the way people she this countries back then. Egypt was the first world power to use chariot . even the Christian bible made it know that Egypt was powerful and recent research show Egypt I still one of the mysterious world power ever existed. People of that time tend to copy Egyptians and respect them.
These are norms of the world. Tomorrow USA wont be the world power and things will start changing .
No idiot own technology . Chinese had one of the earliest form of writing material that was later developed by whites. Does that mean white copied Chinese? There nothing like copying. Its normal technology advancement.

If african or chinese led the first industrial revolution, these ppl would invent bras too.
the point is , why westerners be the first to the threshold of modern world ? it is not about whether chinese or aftican should or should not wear bras after the british invented bras.
of course today our women wear them the same, is it a stigma of inferiority ? shall we wear underwear on our chest instead to prove we are different but same superior as the brits ?
that said, westerners have other culture weirds , they like museums, they drink coffee, we dont need to follow them.

Your also an hypocrite food is good. You eat the food abundant to your area. Shelter and clothing and based on technology. so, china is the grandson of the whites. ... no wonder everyone today is so afraid of china's rise. how dare a grandson whom nobody knows anything of challenge the white grandfather?

if you african dont rid of this mindset, you can never walk out of the white man nightmare for you.
by the way, all colonies are forever shietholes. see the differences between india and china. no matter how hard india exerts itself, it is doomed to lag behind china with light years. the inferiority which caused a nation/ppl to be colonized will stick like a shiet to it and make it inferior forever. if it was not inferior , how can a country be colonized ? They later occupied the eastern part of China until the end of civil war and created a government there
