"Jessica We Are Live"

Social media users cringed in unison on Wednesday after a video of an awkward moment between two presenters went viral on social media.

In the video NBC Namibia News presenter Elmarie Kapunda can be heard speaking about a boxing match, before turning to sports presenter Jessica Kaimu.

Kaimu interrupts her, saying: “No. We are not going to do that. You’re just going to greet me and say 'take it away'.”

There was an awkward pause before Kaimu is told that they are “live”.

The two then stare in silence until the broadcast is cut.

NBC confirmed to South African media that the incident took place on Wednesday evening between the presenters, but said it had no further comment.

An account in Kaimu's name, which celebrated her first live broadcast on the show last year, did not comment on the incident.

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with reaction.

EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi in South Africa shared the video and was among those in stitches at the video. He said it was the “Jessica, we are live” moment that had him defeated.

Others shared hilarious memes and jokes about the incident.

Buhari just expressed the real reason the FG is not taking ipob secessionists seriously; they lack critical support from the SS, without which a Biafra comprising just the 5 SE states would be no different from a Lesotho encircled by South Africa. Until and unless SS people embrace ipob like most igbos do, ipob are just wasting their time and the lives of igbo youths. That's just the truth. As it stands, the 6 SW Yoruba states stand a far more realistic chance of seceding from Nigeria than the 5 SE igbo states, for obvious reasons.

You are getting it wrong . You don't even need to go far, look at my Lagos State developmental parameters, it is far far better than that of 90% of countries in Africa yet Lagos is one of the smallest states in Nigeria. The country you should be studying is Lesotho. It's the best to compare to you and guess what, most Lesotho who want to be successful by no means feat, must go to South Africa. Funnily, Lesotho has not have over the years resented and hated tribes and communities that surround them like some of you hate and resent other Nigerians . If you ever think you will come to Lagos or PHC and claim equal right like now, sir, it will never happen. Even airplane landing in your tiny country will fly over Nigeria. You should wake up daily thanking your fore fathers who signed up to Nigeria. They are wise men. I give it to them
there is nothing like Nigeria.
The idea that the Niger Delta person would want to remain in Nigeria after Igbos go with their 5 states is funny. There is nothing that unites a Niger Deltan with an abokì from Sokoto.
Therefore even if Igbos are landlocked, they will not be like Lesotho. They can be like other landlocked countries, bordered in the south by Niger Delta and in the north by middle belt.

Igbos will tear up Nigeria from inside out las las. It's just a matter of time

Rugaria:
Funny man! Every single political problem we have in this country today has your imprints on it. This country would have been better if you were not born... 1966, after the coup, Nzeogwu sent you to Lagos to negotiate with Ironsi, you went there and feathered your own nest, inviting Nzeogwu over for a peace deal with Ironsi. Dude was arrested at the airport on arrival. 1975, you knew how blood thirsty Murtala Mohammed was but still organized a coup with him because those of you in the Army that saw yourselves as "the field commanders" during the war, wanted to take charge from your Ogas! Murtala came in and destroyed the Civil Service with his ubiquitous "fight against corruption", then started the mindless desecration of the country with whimsical state creations done without recourse to either ethnic or cultural affinities amongst constituent units. Nigeria has never recovered from this!

You then took over in 1976 and started off by basically eliminating most middle belt officers with trumped up charges! Backdating decrees and summarily executing convicts tried by prejudiced tribunals. That's how the army was handed over to the fulanis. You sealed that off by forcing half baked Shagari on us as the president just to thank the far north for making you president! They will make you a president again in 1999 since you are the only one they can trust with power in the whole of Western Nigeria and again, you handed power back to another fuulani as if they are the only ethnic group in Northern Nigeria! Again, you will resurrect Buhari from the dead and foist him on Nigeria, yet again as the president! That's 3 fulanis you made presidents in one lifetime! You can see how your fulani experiment is working out in paces like Agatu, Iganga and Benin Republic IDP camps! In between all these, you became one of the richest people on earth! Killed thousands in Odi and levelled Zaki Biam! How can such a character be allowed to pontificate on Nigerias problems?

Some people are worried that Biafra would not be a good country, they are not worried that their most important city constantly tops the list of shithole cities every year.

Say what you want to say about Biafra but know this, Enugu the capital of Biafra would never be on this list.

Douala Cameroon is not as beautiful as Enugu, so Enugu is still a city but will never be one of the cities on this list, just like Accra or Cotonou never makes it to the list
PoliticsLagos Comes Second As The World Least Liveable Cities Are Ranked For 2021 by selemempe(op): 9:37am On Jun 09, 2021
The world's most livable cities 2021
1. Auckland, New Zealand
2. Osaka, Japan
3. Adelaide, Australia
4. Wellington, New Zealand
4. Tokyo, Japan
6. Perth, Australia
7. Zurich, Switzerland
8. Geneva, Switzerland
8. Melbourne, Australia
10. Brisbane, Australia

The world's least livable cities 2021
1. Damascus, Syria
2. Lagos, Nigeria
3. Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
4. Dhaka, Bangladesh
5. Algiers, Algeria
6. Tripoli, Libya
7. Karachi, Pakistan
8. Harare, Zimbabwe
9. Douala, Cameroon
10. Caracas, Venezuela

But while there have been many significant differences towards the top, very little has changed at the bottom of the list.
While Damascus sits in last place once again "as the effects of the civil war in Syria continue to take their toll," it's closely followed by Nigeria's Lagos, Papua New Guinea's Port Moresby and Bangladesh's Dhaka, which were all in either similar or identical spots in 2019.
These cities have consistently performed badly over the years due to the instability caused by ongoing civil unrest and military conflicts, amongst other issues.
According to the report, conditions here have deteriorated even further in the past 12 months, especially when it comes to healthcare, due to Covid-19.

For you shout breakup, you must have gotten everything ready in our region. Southeast ought be self-sufficient first.
first of all the vast majority of Igbos don't work for the federal government. Those who do can still be partly absorbed into the government of the new biafra. Others can find some thing else to do... like farming or buying and selling.

2. Majority of Igbos do not have property outside igboland. Those who do are mostly capable of protecting their assets. Emoney for instance can protect his house in Lagos just fine.
Those who have property but can't protect it would have to wait for negotiations with Nigeria by Biafran government. Don't forget Nigerians also have billions of dollars worth of assets in Biafra like Glo, GTbank oil and gas companies, factories and even houses.

3. Has Nigeria that has been independent since 1960 gotten everything ready? Is Nigeria self-sufficient? What the hell are you talking about.

Ikology:
I am actually disappointed to see response of this type from a strong proponent of breakup like you. I hate it when all you always say "when we get to the river, we will know how to cross it". Zero strategies
1. Other enclaved countries. Biafra would not be the only enclaved country in the world.
Lesotho is entirely enclaved inside South Africa. They have a population of almost 3 million and still have a higher GDP per capita than Nigeria. As far as we can have an internationally brokered deal with Nigeria to freely allow us use Nigerian airspace for civilian planes, we would be just fine.

2. Oil and gas money The south east has more oil and gas reserves than the Federal allocation it gets.
With oil in Abia and imo States and gas in Anambra state, we have enough of that resource to gradually build a more sustainable economy if we plan well. Don't forget that Nairobi Kenya was built with money from tea and coffee. Nairobi is more beautiful than Lagos built with oil money.
Electricity can also be generated with our gas reserves

3. Military Today Igbos have no military and have no right to form a military. If we are allowed to go with our 5 states, we would have the right to build a military, To buy as much deadly weapons and defence technology as we can afford to buy. We can get Israel to even help us with a low budget iron Dome technology for aerial self defense. We can be able to take the war to any future enemies without being sitting ducks.

3 Customs, immigration today Igbos have no right or sovereignty to defend our land. Any abokì can walk from futa jallon and come and settle in the hills of Enugu. All we can do is rant as far as fulani government refuses to act, we can't do anything. Any trailer filled with whatever can drive into SE today without us being able to check what is inside. With biafra we can legally mount checks on our borders to check what is going in and out according to international law. Do you know that oil is being smuggled out of Anambra on a daily basis? In biafra, we can have checks for things like that legally

4. Passport if they allow us take our 5 states, we would also be obliged to drop the overabused Nigerian passport that can't even get you into Cape Verde. We would create our own passport and build its reputation on a virgin ground and with hindsight on how reputation can ruin a passport

5. Foreign diplomacy today Igbos are not known in international politics. With our 5 states, we would have the right to join the United Nations. We would have the right to build relationships with other countries on equal basis. We can even become a closer friend and protege to Israel, Our president can stand Infront of the UN general assembly every year to speak for us. We would automatically become a sovereign people. Very very important

6. Federal tax if we get our 5 states as biafra, all the billions of naira that goes from our region to Abuja in taxes will stop. That is money that we can use to build our nation

7. Federal fees instead of paying Nigeria government for things like passport, driving license, vehicle papers, radio and TV licences etc, you pay it to the Biafran government. That money can help us achieve a lot.

8. Policing in our 5 states, we will no longer have abokì people mounting road blocks on our roads and killing our hustling youths in the name of policing all because of deep-seated hatred. Biafra police would be 100% Igbo

9. Airport and travel with biafra of 5 states, we would now fly and land in Enugu (for instance) instead of Lagos or Abuja. Our government can even partner Air Peace to create an airline carrier that can later rival Ethiopian airlines. Where there is a will there is a way. Remember that

10. Sea port it gets tricky here but we have options that may be better than going to Lagos to clear our goods. We can import with more air cargo than with ships. Or We can spend money and dredge the river Niger and dock at Onitsha river port. All we need to do as a country is to buy barges and keep them at onne port or Duala port, once a ship docks there, all cargoes going into Biafra would be transferred to the badges and sailed up the river Niger to Onitsha. Or We can also negotiate with Nigeria to use the Enugu-port Harcourt rail to transport containers and pay Nigerian customs. Either way, we would be fine.

11. Capital flight to Lagos and Abuja Igbos who are quick to build their mansions and businesses in Lagos, Abuja, port Harcourt etc would be forced to come home as they automatically lose the right to live freely in Nigeria. Those returning igbos and their money would help us start building or country from day one

Right now these states get more from federal allocation than from IGR.

Only Imo and some Abia are oil producing, and mind you, not a major producer. If Imo applies the same reason you give for leaving Nigeria, it won't share its oil money with any other state.

So your argument takes in water and it's sunken

Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD)
Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD)
Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD)
Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD)
Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD)
Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD)
Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD)
Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD)
Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD

Imo + Abia per day = 28,000
365 days production = 364
@ $70 per barrel = 70
Naira exchange rate = 500

28,000×365×70×500 = N375.7bn

Imo State's budget alone was N346bn in 2021

Tell me how you'll fund the States' outstanding deficit.
First of all daily production is different from reserves. That companies are not fully exploring oil in the hinterlands doesn't mean that there is not a large oil and gas reserves to explore. So we can certainly increase daily production
Secondly, imo and Abia are part of igboland and will cease to exist as states in Biafra. Their resources would be fully utilised by the central government. Oil producing communities can be compensated..
Thirdly the Anambra basin has the largest gas reserves in Nigeria. Imo and Abia are oil. We can also explore gas and add it to the money from oil

Ojukwu and/or Nnamdi will have been allowed to happily form Biafra if only Igbo states were secceeding.
ojukwu was the governor of Eastern Region. You don't expect him to balkanize his region to fit your narrative. Nnamdi kanu would be made to see reason over time that we are better off with our igboland alone
The Igbo states alone will be land locked, pay heavily to use Onne, buy heavily taxed food from the middle belt and North and be unable to house its returning citizens in the little land.
lol. Igboland is not landlocked. The river Niger means we can use barges to bring in containers to Onitsha. We can buy barges and keep them in Cameroon and transfer Biafra bound containers there.
We can buy food from all over Africa, we mustn't buy from Nigeria. If we get it cheaper elsewhere, we buy. Lol
The part of Nigeria with the highest amount of killings for land disputes is South Eastern Nigeria. When igbos mostly live outside Igbo land right now
lol. There are only two land disputes in igboland, Aguleri and umuleri, it has been squashed. Ezza and Ezzi, it would be settled fast if we have our own military and police. I don't want to tell you anything about your stupid statistics, it obvious you are a hater.
Ojukwu knows, as much as Nnamdi has learnt, that only with the Niger Delta can they have a VIABLE BIAFRA. But the Niger Delta suffered alot for Ojukwu's adventurism. Not happening again. The Tompolos know this. So should you.
Biafra can be very viable without Niger Delta, but it would be more viable with them
Is fulani dominance to be accepted? Absolutely not. Goodluck started their dismantling, preceeding Obasanjo. The heavy military apparatus and artillery has been distributed among the six geopolitical zones so the north alone dosen't dictate coups and the constitutional conference outcome. The next southern president should make sure the regions return with full autonomy, we can control our resources and pay taxes only to the center.
this your last point is jibberish. No sane Igbo person gives a shìt about Nigeria anymore.
Nigeria is a country that is destined for failure. It will keep taking one step forward and two steps back.
You should be happy we are talking about leaving with our 5 erosion enclaves.

An independent Biafra of just SE would be able to negotiate with Government of stronger nations to buy weapons for such wars.
We can woo allies and all.

We would be called aggressors, Maybe, but our people down there in SS would call Nigerians aggressors too, so the narratives would be balanced.

Point is that head or tail, we would need war to retrieve all Igbo lands in one country and we stand a better chance doing it as an independent SE country than we are currently.
freeigbos doesn't understand what we are talking about and that is the sad part of it all.
They do not understand the concept of sovereignty. Today nnamdi kanu is seen as a terrorist. If we get Biafra of 5 states and he is the president, he can be able to leave Twitter and go and talk to UN general assembly. He can be able to post recognised ambassadors to Israel or US. He can be able to buy arms like Nigeria.

Freeigbos wants Nigeria to hand him everything on a platter. Lol. We are in for a long thing with that mindset
