So you are not sure about who hid your thread before dropping those epistle?

Anyways, we have numbers of mods on NL but at the moment only one Super Mods..

Your guess is good as mine
my post was taken down by a mod. And you and I know which one.

grin cheesy

Let me repeat again, why do you people always blame others when things don't go your way?

You have accused wrong mods, accused his region, accused me of siding Reno even for the fact that I have not read his epistle, accusing Yorubas " I know that a lot of yoruba posters seemed to agree with Reno on that thread ',even for the fact those who were/are on that thread are not up to 0.0055% of Yoruba population

Everything has been blame , blame and blame..

It's time for you people to look inward and see where things are going wrong...

so please tell me the mod that hid my post since you seem to know more about him than me

From Nigeria to Australia, and to the UK...the problems with us Customers is that we don’t read terms and condition...when we now feel upset, we now start feeling entitled

If a business entity already said they don’t respect people’s opinion and u agree to deal with them...who’s to blame when they starts treating your opinion like trash..??
it was never mentioned in their terms and conditions that they don't respect people's opinions. The rules are clear and I made sure my post abided by their rules...so it is something else at play which the manager may not even know about

Here we go again..

Was I on Reno's thread? Have I even read his epistle even though I have came across it severally?

Why do you people always blame others whenever things don't go your way?

Who is the super moderator on NL? Which tribe is he from?

When you have the right answers then you might have a rethink before casting aspersions.
the mod is yoruba. Whether you have read or even agree with Reno is between you and your God but I know that a lot of yoruba posters seemed to agree with Reno on that thread

Sebi the previous one was deleted, this one will not only be deleted but to follow with banning..

If the mods say they do not want a particular thread, then you have no choice than to respect their opinions cos they are the one in charge here
of course... because the rebuttal paused your glee. You loved what Reno wrote and you hope only that narrative should be allowed to stand.
Why is that?
Should I be afraid of ban if my fair opinions are already being banned?

I created a thread denouncing slavery and cautioning the people who gloat that they sold other Africans as slaves.
Well it got deleted by a mod we have all come to know is a bigot. Drop his name if you can.

The significance of that is that this mod doesn't care about the dignity of his fellow Nigerians or black people. He only cares about his tribe being able to get one back on their perceived enemies. And this is a man who is saddled with the responsibility of moderating Nigeria's largest political forum.
A man who doesn't understand that a thread denouncing slavery and cautioning people from gloating about being human traffickers in the past should not only no be deleted but moved to front page to teach more people.

We all saw the global outrage over George Floyd murder and how slave monuments were cast down all over the world. Now Reno creates a topic all but gloating that his people sold Igbos as slaves because of Igbos inherent 'disunity' and inferiority.
I made an argument that his people sold Igbos to slavery because they were horrible human traffickers and not because Igbos were inferior or disunited. I buttressed my point by showing how Igbos are excelling in human resources more than Reno's people and how Reno's people only got umbrellas and mirrors for their evil actions.
I concluded that slave trade is a dark chapter in black history that nobody should gloat about, especially not fellow blacks.

Tell me nairaland, should a post like that be deleted in a fairly moderated forum?

If the yorubas opposed every governor sent to govern them, then they are also rebellious like the Igbos.

So if he couldn't trust igbos with power for being rebellious, then he wouldn't trust the yorubas either.

And no. ''Wealth transfer is not wealth transfer.''

This thread relates to actual dollar millionaires and billionaires, not you and your fellow broke ass spare parts dealers dashing 100,000 naira to your apprentice.

we know how Obi Cubana made Cubana chief priest a rich man. Please tell us one northerner who BUA group chairman made a rich man

Do you think it's houses, Jets and yachts that make Dangote the richest man in Africa?

Even at that, all these Jets and yatchs are more of liabilities than assests.
jets make money. Yatchs make Money. Flashing money makes you more money. It's called show business.

Dangote is an industrialist...the Anambra dudes are mostly into show business. That said, I didn't say they were richer than Dangote. I just said they may have better luxury than Dangote. I know many people I'm richer than that have flashy cars while I don't. And it's not liability if it makes them more money

This project will not be completed by 2023, it's an avenue for the governor to siphon state funds, after 2023 the incoming governor will abandon it and it will become a shadow of itself.

This I have seen.
it's not a project...it's a city. It cannot be built over night by one government. It will also need private individuals to buy and develop lands there. Government will only build a few houses and then focus on roads

Please, have a seat.

You don't even know how Dangote began.
Saying his parents were rich
tell us how he began. Dangote himself said his uncle gave him a loan of 500k in 1975. Another uncle gave him a cement importation license for free.

Don't mind the fool. There was never a time an Igbo man in his heart believed that Ikwerre is Igbo. There is just no joint anywhere except in some words. They use size to equate who is the other. If Ikwerre had got 5 states would Igbo man agree he is Ikwerre?
shut up ogbeni. Ikwere didn't leave Igbo until Rivers state was created in 1967.
Ikwere was Igbo from the creation of the eastern region in 1939 until 1967

I wonder why the so called Igbo subs always vehemently refuse to associate themselves with igbos.
The tribes around yorubas in kogi and other places will always introduce themselves as Yoruba
The north is made up of over a hundred tribes, but they all don't mind being called hausas.
But call an agbor person Igbo, fight go start.

Something is definitely wrong

Oga, let's use the refinery he is building in Lagos.

Dangote's refinery is worth an estimated $18B , yeah 18 billion you read that. An average private jet would cost you around $3M - $50M . price for an average yatch too about $30M - $500M . And you're here mentioning Jets and yatch. Do you know how many super factories and refineries dangote has in the north east west south? My brother you will have toown alot to be worth even a billion dollars ..I don't think there's even anybody in the east who owns a private jet not to talk of a yatch. Dangote will buy all these richest men in anambra, imo, enugu and abia combined and change go still remain. An average Igbo man is very mouthy, he can have barely a million dollars in his account and will spend and lavish so much people will think he's worth hundred million dollars. Even the so called Arthur eze you brag of is not worth up to $300M but someone came forward one day to argue he was richer than dangote lol.
Tony elumelu, Jim ovia and co are barely worth a billion dollars with the kind of investment and business they do yet you believe one Bushman from anambra is worth billions of dollars.. abeg wake up
Cc Yusufisraelj
seems insults is what you are about.

If you read my post again you will see how stupid your reply worth. Dangote can have businesses worth 100 billion dollars...cool. it doesn't mean he loves in the most expensive house in Nigeria. Does it?

Considering that many Igbo businessmen own airlines like Airpeace or United Nigeria airline, I find your claim that no Igbo owns private jets as a very childish talk (along with your insults) that exposes your stupidity.

Innosson was talking about a tire company he opened with 250 million dollars which Nigerian federal government closed for environmental issues.... somebody who loses that amount of investment and still stands can not possibly be a billionaire.

That said, I haven't said any Igbo is richer than dongote

Ikwerre are not Igbo and will never be.

The rest of Igbos have finally accepted that and moved on.

Time for you to do so.

Weytin we no go hear abeg. From there are hundreds of dollar billionaires in onitsha main market .

Now one just told me there are some people in nnewi richer than dangote only that they no dey Forbes list grin.
it's unlikely. However there may be people with personal assets (homes, jets, yachts) worth more than Dangote's

Another thing to consider is that Dangote's parents were rich. These Igbo billionaires of today had no assets in 1970

Politics / Anambra Vs Ikwere: Two Igbo Groups That Could Have Been In Competition by selemempe: 3:20am On Jul 17, 2021
I just saw this picture of Wike and Obi Cubana and it got me thinking again of what could have been if Ikwere didn't start denying their Igbo identity.

I'm from Enugu but we all in igboland know and appreciate how successful Anambra business men and women are.
People like
Arthur Eze, Innosson, Ibeto, and younger monies like Obi Cubana, Emoney, Jowizaza etc remind us all how far Anambra has come since 1970 when they got 20 pounds like the rest of Igbos.

Also,
With oil money which Rivers state commands and with political power in Rivers state firmly in the hands of the Igbo subgroups, the Ikwere could have been in competition of wealth with the Anambra and imo state elite.
Igbo society weddings and burials could have been taking place every weekend in port Harcourt if they were integrated with the rest of Igbo nation
The swag of being Igbo would have placed Ikwere and the Igbos of Rivers state in the national limelight like it does for the Anambra group.

Port Harcourt could have been the Lagos of Igbos because of the port and oil....and Lagos would not have the high number of Igbos it has today.

What Igbos lost in 1970 still gives me pains. Ikwere officially left the Igbo ethnic nationality in 1979 and took with them some other Igbo groups carved into Rivers. They all are now playing creek, isolated politics and living that creek, isolated culture and only identify as Igbos when it suits them individually.
