Career › Re: Should I Have Stolen My Boss's Money? by selfemployed(m): 9:32pm On Feb 27, 2016 |
takoi: I won't waste your time. I have a good boss who not only pays well but have also been very nice to me both financially and otherwise. He sent me on an errand yesterday to sell some of his personal belongings for him. He was expecting a maximum of 80k from the sales. While selling, I negotiated cleverly and made 150k. I fought with my conscience to give him like between 80k-90k. But I finally decided to give him all the money because he had always been a nice guy and I felt it was wrong to cheat or steal from someone who always gives you even more than you deserve. Fast forward to today. My younger brother called that he needs money for some pressing needs in school and I did not have money to give him because almost all the money I have is tied down to a certain business deal. I feel bad that I can't give my brother the money he needs and I could have had the cash to give him if I took part of the money yesterday. I have been wondering if it was really worth it that I gave my boss all the proceeds from the sales. Please share ur thoughts on this. Mr man, u acted very foolishly. U think ur boss is owing u gratitude, and will reward u tomorrow? U are very wrong. That will not stop him him from firing u tomorrow. In fact, he may fight with u over 500 naira tomorrow and forget about this event. Humans r naturally, ungrateful. Since he wanted to sell d stuff 80k, if u sell it 1 million and give home his 80k , the test is non of his business. Business is about agreements. |

MeloGist: https://www.melogist.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/charly-boy.jpg Fellow Nigerians,
Jesus Is Real. Be patient and read Biko.
I had a divine dream last night, and Jesus has sent me with this message to you.
It was clear to see that our Lord and Saviour is deeply worried about His Nigerian Creation.
He had instructed me to tell you all, that Nigerians should NOT substitute prayers for hard work. The whole of chapter 2 of the Book of James corroborates this, especially verses 18, 20 and 26. It says faith (prayers, night vigils etc) without (hard) work is dead. No be me talk am o, na the same Bible wey una dey carry.
It was clear in the vision I had last night that Jesus is not happy with Nigerians. Most Nigerians now live in the church 24/7 from Monday to Monday, wives have abandoned their husbands for night vigils, everyone is praying for miracles and miracles and more miracles. It's either this or for God to strike their enemies dead and all those who steal their luck.
Jesus is so very upset with Nigerians' prayer requests and shopping list, always calling His Name for the most trivial matters, things that would come to them naturally without sweat were they not a lazy and an unthinking bunch.
The one that really gets to Him, as He told me, is when some evil men and women parade themselves as God's messengers deceive their congregation for their own personal aggrandisement, promising heaven, money, husbands, children and wives. Titus chapter 1:10 talks about this.
Fellow Nigerians, Jesus wants His good name back! Naijas have so bastardized the name. He wants Naijas to put the creative and entrepreneurial mind He gave them to work and stop chasing quick fixes. He wants an upgrading of our work ethic.
He wants to see genuine love for our neighbour's, not lip or eye service kinda love.
He had asked me to warn those in leadership to be mindful of where they are stirring the country to or face His wrath. He said this present administration has just a few good people in it but they must stand firm before they become polluted. Jesus said I should tell them that He's giving them till the end of this year to make a meaningful impact otherwise....
Incase you're wondering (like am still dazed myself) why its me Jesus should be talking to when we have the likes of Adeboyes, T,B Joshua, Pastor Kris Okotie, etc. Well, I was surprised too, and as if He read off my bewildered thoughts of "Why Me" on my face, He just gave me this hard look and asked me to go to work at once, calling my attention to Matthew 7:21-23. Go and read it to see what it says.
As a matter of fact, at some point my thought was...does He want me to start a church, why is He entrusting this duty to me, abi Him want me to begin preach? Of course it's Jesus now; so He knew what I was thinking and replied my inner thought saying as far as He's concerned, I already have a church, a mega congregation of youth and families that I touch with my messages, that in case I don't know, I am already preaching and this is why He came to me because He reckons that I have the platform He can use to get the word to the people.
Who then am I not to run the errand of Jesus? So I got up, and began to put pen to paper.
I'm not sure I have successfully communicated the disgust and disdain Jesus expressed when He spoke to me last night but am only hoping that this my gentle appeal to you all goes into the very fibre of your beings like a two-edged sword, and cause a true change of heart and attitude in all and sundry.
Jesus try o, Him still dey send message, if na me CharlyBoy, na hot koboko go land some people kini.
Anyway sha, give Jesus a wiper.
http://www.melogist.com/the-night-jesus-spoke-to-me-charly-boy-reveals/ It's true! Jesus said the same thing to me long ago. He just confirmed it now. Praise the Lord!!! |

Business › Re: Naira Depreciates Further To N385/$, N505/£ In Parallel Market by selfemployed(m): 1:52am On Feb 18, 2016 |
Gerarahere: i believe a bad name given to a child makes him/her behave live that, could it be that flawra shaw, cursed us by naming us nigeria meaning, niger-darkness/black and area, area of darkness. i think we should adopt wazobia and change our flag to green white red, my thought though https://www.nairaland.com/521853/open-letter-mr-president-changeCHANGE OF NAME OVERDUE FOR NIGERIA I have made unsuccessful attempts to persuade two previous heads of state to effect a change of name for our beloved country, Nigeria. But because I believe that it is not a foolish cause I intend pursueing it untill success is achived. I therefore write the present memorandum to you as head of state and through you to the supreme millitary council. 2. The name “Nigeria” is not one that we can be proud of. One reason for this is that it was chosen for us by foreigners. Another reason is that it connotes all that is bad and unacceptable. 3. In many Euro-American languages like Spanish, Latin, Portuguese, French, English, Greek et cetra, “nigger” in its various other forms such as neger, negre, negro and nekros has to to do with contempt, hate, hostility, offence, vulgarity, death, dead body, communication with the dead and so on. There is absolutelely nothing good about the word from which the name of Afrika’s most populous nation originates. It was no accident that the early imperialists came to put such labels as “Negro,” “Negroid,” etc. on Afrikans and on things Afrikan. It is also by no accident that the English Language for instance is full of such phrases as blackmail, black-leg, black-market, black magic, black list, black mass, black Friday, blak mark, black sheep, black maria. By extension, the westerners always get black people to play the role of Satan, Judas Iscariot, slaves and errand boys in their movies. 4. It is clear that nigger or black in Euro-American mentality and philosophy represents everything evil. It is due to the absence of the necessary foresight and awareness that we have not long ago done away with names that are rooted in a way of thinking which insults the dignity of man. Since the age of awareness has now arrived, I humbly demand a better name for our dear country as well as its people. New names for the river Niger as well as the entire nation and her various ramifications will certainly correspond with and bolster the national spirit that gave birth to the re-branding campaign now searching for a new path of nationalism and patriotism. 5. It is also culturally and politically appropriate to change the names of our cities which do not bear Afrikan names. For example, Lagos and Port Harcourt. Rivers, Cross Rivers, Lagos, Niger and Plateau States are among other places names which need to be Afrikanized. 6. Most Afrikan countries which had foreign names in the past have taken the honourable step of dropping such names and replacing them with their original or chosen names. They include: Ghanah, Togo, Benin, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zaire, Kongo and, most recently Bourkina Fasso which were formerly Gold Coast, Togoland, Dahomey, Northern Kongo (Brazzaville) and Upper Volta, respectively. (Banjul, capital of Gambia, was once Barthurst; Kinshasa was Leopoldville, and Harare was Sasilbury.) Sadly, Nigeria remains one of the few Afrikan nations who are still complacently retaining their colonial names. The others include: Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Niger, Central African Republic and swaziland. 7. Of all the colonial names of Afrikan countries non are as bad and demoralizing as Nigeria and Niger if we consider the meaning or the roots ofthese two. I therefore conclude by suggesting that a panel be set up to give this burning question a close look and find a replacement for the name “Nigeria” and other replaceable names. 8. With highest regards and best wishes for a successful tenure of office. I remain, Your faithful citizen, Nkemkanma Chukwuemeka Uche. |

theshaderoom: Some fans were always tormenting Linda Ikeji who is fond of posting her shoes and bags collection on Instagram about not having a Birkin bag. A birkin bag is a very expensive and high end designer bag by Hermes.
Linda posted these two pictures of birkin bags she purchased and fans came for her due to the stress it takes to buy a birkin bag as there is usually a long list of clientele and waiting period which could be up to 3 years before a person can purchase one birkin bag. Some have even reported that a person can only buy one birkin bag per year and Kim Kardashian is even reported to have waited years to get a birkin bag.
Putting all this into consideration must have been the reason, some fans were not buying it when she posted pictures of her birkin bags and they called it fake.
. SEE screenshot of her reply.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BBSHMtnhATEKKQrg46KXN6Jnq0ZdOncgucAleQ0/ Sorry to say, but Linda Ikeji is too poor mentally if she actually bought such a bag at that price. If she were rich, should have thought of how to set up a company that makes such bags here in Nigeria. |
