SirLewis:
Obama isn't the antichrist anymore?? huh Even after the silly claims that he was forcing Americans to insert a chip into their bodies to gain access to medical treatment.
Obama never said he will ban any religious group from america.
The way trump even refers to pope with contempt makes one to think he may decide to abolish that office. America influence the world a lot. But the influence of trump is going to be more like a dictator..

PoliticsIs Donald Trump The Anti Christ? by selfemployed(op): 1:25pm On Jan 03, 2016
From his body language and speeches, he is arrogant, fearless, radical and has become popular.

"I will ban Muslims from entering America"
In in other words, I can as well ban religion

"I will put Mugabe and Museveni in prison"
In other words, I will cause wars and throw the world into political commotions

His popularity is rising, but he may become ruthless with power.

Let's watch and see.

Why didn't NAPTIP arrest Davido's sister for child trafficking or kidnapping when she lied that the baby belong to her at the airport after the report from the babymama?
Maybe they r above the law.
Or they are APC members. If they were PDP, even DSS wld have arrested them by now without bail.

Shouldn't ndlea investigate this statement? Or are they afraid?

Why was the Book of Enoch removed from the bible?
I did do a little research before posting my question and found out that only the Ethiopian Christians kept it, that Jews rejected it because it......
well the thing is that fragments of it were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. It seems like an authentic part of the Old Testament and only Ethiopians have...
But even the accepted Genesis which Christians accept says angels from heaven had children with earthly female humans, so the book of Enoch only expands on...
The original book of Enoch is written in a mixture of Ge'ez (or something like that spoken in Ethiopia), Aramaic and Latin. Lets share what we know about it
Pls send me a copy to

Thanks

The man was absolutely right
The law demands cigarette makers to warn "SMOKERS ARE LIABLE TO DIE YOUNG"
Alcoholic drink maker warn you "DRINK RESPONSIBLY" Porn makers "18 + ONLY"
Why not game makers.

In fact nairaland, Facebook, watsapp etc should be sued for not warning users to beware of addiction.
PoliticsIs This The Best Way To Spend 500 Billion Naira? by selfemployed(op): 8:38am On Dec 21, 2015
Is this the best buhari can do with 500 billion?
To pay contractors to feed nigerian children? The same contractors that feed nigerian prisoners?
I doubt if any responsible nigerian will allow his/her children to take such foods

The nysc grant; is that not like sure-p grant? how succesfull was that sure-p of a thing? and how successful is this nysc grant likely going to be?

500 billion can change a whole lot of things in this country, and i doubt if this is the best way to go about it.

item1:
How will other Nigerians feel if the Nigerian pledge was written and read in Efik after all its still one of the languages we speak in Nigeria. You see Nigeria is always doing things that will divide us instead of doing things that will unite us. What is the rational in writing a language that is read by only one region on a national emblem. Odikwa Risky.
I guess the problem is religious. If you write in english "Victory is from God alone". The muslim soldier will think you are refering to the christian God and will feel offended since he calls his God Allah. If you write "Victory is from Allah alone" The christian soldier will feel offended. Better to find a common ground. since both beleive in divinity, better to say "Victory is Divine". But the atheist soldier does not beleive in divinity. Best to say "Victory is Sure"

CoolUsername:
Nigeria still has a long way to go because I don't understand a fully-grown man can say that taking someone's religious freedom away is a good thing.

Ok; let's look at it this way, christianity caused the Dark Ages, the Spanish Inquisition. The whites used christianity to endorse slavery, the Dutch Reformative church used it to justify apartheid, Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the death of 1.6 million Jews (just the jewish casualties) in WWII was christian.

Shouldn't we have banned christianity a long time ago then?
If you think some religions should not be banned, then every religioun should have an approved curriculum and licensed preachers. To avoid a sitation where Islam will denounce Boko haram and Isis, and Christianity will denounce evil and fraudulaent acts commited by her pastors

Christianity EtcAngola Bans Islam And Shuts Down All Mosques Across The Country by selfemployed(op): 11:38am On Dec 10, 2015
Angola has reportedly declared Islam illegal and ordered for all of the country’s mosques to be closed down.

Minister of culture Rosa Cruz e Silva said that mosques in the largely Christian country would be closed until further notice.

She described Islam as a ‘sect’ that would be banned as counter to Angolan customs and culture.

There are unconfirmed reports that mosques across the African country are being destroyed, according to the International Business Times.

President Jose Edurado dos Santos reportedly told the Osun Defence daily: ‘This is the final end of Islamic influence in our country.’

Along with Islam, which is a religion associated with less than 1 per cent of the population of 19 million, 194 other ‘sects’ have been banned in the nation, where more than half the population is Christian.

Also in Malaysia, the citizens are insured on various areas. Corruption is high here in Nigeria because the future is uncertain. U don't know if u will get ur pensions when u retire. When a Malaysian citizen commits a crime, he loses all his insurance benefits. So no body wants to be involved in crime. We can also learn from that
PoliticsRe: How The New Ministers Can Change Nigeria For Better by selfemployed(op): 3:12pm On Nov 12, 2015
Our neighbor here- Cameroon has means of identification for her citizens. U can't just enter there without an identity card. By this they can protect their labor force. But here in Nigeria any thing goes. I applied for I'd cards a year ago, I don't have it till now. Any body can come in from any where and add to unemployment. We need to know how many we r and how many r unemployed before we can plan well.

2. Labour and Productivity

We have a lot to learn from china. We should look at the global market and work towards becoming an exporter of various finished products. Not just the raw materials.

Still on Minister of Works

My Malaysian friend also told me that when the government awards a road contract to a company, the company will be responsible to maintain the road for 100 years. Should any pothole be found on the road within that number of years and it leads to an accident, the company will be sued and they will surely pay heavy compensation.

1. Power. Works and housing
My friend grom. Malaysia told me over there the government builds houses and the citizens buy them through mortgage banks and the payment I'd spread over 30 years. We can learn from that

I will take time to read the arguments and counter arguments. But our atheist brothers has never answered me convincingly as to who is responsible for the ORDER that we have in creation. Without ruler who has the powers to establish order, there would be CHAOS. Somebody must have established order in creation. Don't tell me it just happened because of evolution. Even the order/laws of evolution must have been established by some body/being with intelligence.

BusinessHow To Hire The Right Person For Your Business. by selfemployed(op): 7:08pm On Oct 23, 2015
Besides every successful man, the say, there is a supportive woman. Behind every successful business also, there is the right staff. You need to understand how to choose the right staff for your business as the wrong staff can be very dangerous to your business success.

There some questions you must look out for the answers when hiring your staff, and here are some of them;

1). Are you competent? When you are assessing the person you want to hire, you must try to find out how competent he is. Does he have the necessary skills and experience for your business?

2). Are you capable? You need a staff that is not only physically capable, but also intellectually capable for your business success. Someone that can think out possible solutions in the face of challenges and also be able to withstand unfavorable conditions that may arise in the course of doing business.

3). Are you compatible? Emotional stability is very important when choosing the right staff. Hiring a hot tempered staff won’t be the best for your business, as such a person may not get along well with his colleague or you clients.

4). Are you committed? People look for job for various reasons. They may not really be interested in the success of the business that gave them employment, but on the money the receive at the end of the month.

5). Do you have the right character? How your staff thinks and behaves is important for your business success. Is he faithful and loyal to authority? How about being truthful and trustworthy? How responsible and caring is he?

6). Can you adapt to my business culture? The customs, beliefs and philosophy of your business is something your staff must not joke with. These are the qualities that will preserve your business for many generations, so you must have it in view while hiring the right staff for your business.

Like the WWE Triple H says “Always do what is best for your business.”
