Ike ThankGod, John Owoeri, Chibuzor Okonkwo and Dickson Etuhu should not have been invited as well

*Ike ThankGod is fat & heavy and is simply not good enough.
*Dickson Etuhu is piss poor and will never be a good player in this life or the next.
*Chibuzor Okonkwo's form has deteriorated badly and he's a shadow of his former self.
*John Owoeri is just there. . .an average player IMO.

I would have preferred the following players instead
- Onyekachi Apam for Ike ThankGod
- Terna Suswan for Chibuzor Okonkwo
- Sanni Keita, Obiora Nwankwo or Ramon Azeez for Dickson Etuhu.
- Fengor Ogude or Batholomew Ibenegbu for John Owoeri. I mean what happened to Solomon Okpako, Gabriel Rueben, Ganiyu Salami and all those players that participated in the WAFU tournament?
AND
What is Eguavoen inviting 4 goalkeepers for? By the way, the earlier Eguavoen realizes that our best central defence pairing is Apam and Adeleye, the better cos they need to play together as often as possible.

For an away match of such magnitude & against a very good team like Guinea, this team is weak and I'm disappointed.

Someone is definitely pulling the strings behind the scene.

personally i have forgiven keita, but the guy is just not nigeria material he was our weak point in the 2game's he played. he just has hardwork and nothing else, no ball sense nothing. for dm role i would take mikel, nwankwo, azeez, hell even sunday stephen before keita
Will you shut up and stop name dropping. No one is impressed. Kaita should never have been dropped in the first place. . .and he was never our weak link at the world cup. Etuhu was!

Kaita still remains our best natural DM. .and FYI Mikel plays as a 10 for Nigeria. By the way, Kaita committed no sin for you to forgive him. . .M-U-M-U!

My worry is the coach, Uche Eucharia. At the risk of sounding sexist, I'll have preferred it if a man was the coach of the team. Uche Eucharia apart from being a veteran falcons player and captain has relatively no coaching experience. She should have been given one of the junior teams instead to prove her mettle.

Anyway, I hope she chooses a team with a balance of youth and experience. . .in short U-17+U-19+Senior Team players.

I can just imagine him saying in his normal braggadocious manner:
There is nothing wrong with a formal recognition of pidgin, the problem is with our halfassway of doing things. We need our intellectuals to step up and codify the language efficiently so it can be formally taught.

Imho, The informal sector don do dem work, it's now up to the scholars to play their part in society, talk is cheap.
I once came across a thread in which a guy was teaching an Oyinbo or NID (can't recall which) how to speak pidgin. This guy had the pidgin broken down into tenses, nouns, verbs, pronouns etc and all the other "senrere" and he was instructing this babe as if he had a Ph.D in it. To say I was impressed will be an understatement.

I took up the guy on his "academic" mastery of it and how he was so good at teaching it and he said he has spent some time studying the language. Someone like that will be very helpful in standardizing the language and teaching it formally. Let me see if I can dig up that thread.
