This Charlie boy is a proof that one can live a good life without religion and lying pastors. Has this man not been blessed by Nature with a good family, sizeable wealth, and he is almost 80 years and still strong etc. Did he need any pastor or political power to do it for him? This is one man that has enjoyed his life from the beginning till end and has always spoken out against bad politicians. You will never see him in dirty controversies like sleeping with his house girls or daughter or blood money like other of our church and mosque going elites who will criticize the man’s lifestyle.
Typical ranting of an ignoramus.
Oya tell me, shebi you and Charlie boy shares the same patriarchy abi na ancestry?
That Charlie boy is free from some foundational battles doesn't mean every other single man whose ancestors were snake or demonic worshippers and had sold the destinies of their offspring to the devil will have it easy and smooth as charlie boy. Besides I'm sure charlie boy also have his own personal challenges that we don't know about.
You better leave people who have foundational issues to sort it out in peace and stop brandishing your ignorance in full public glare.

If that is the case then people should live freely and exercise their natural rights without restraint like animals...why is society restricting a man's sexual mates to 1 why not allow him freely exercise his sexuality to the extent his resources can take him....their is nothing like naturL law again...we are constantly being shaped and made to adapt to new realities....women want men to change when it comes to gender roles that affect women but benefit men but these same women don't wanna change when it comes to roles affecting men but benefitting women...A man providing is part of the tenets of the same Patriarchy that women love to condemn...so why ain't they fighting that

Really? No More natural law? The last I checked the night has once again gone and dawn is almost upon us, that's an example of natural law in operation.
You are free to operate and conformed to whatever level of existence you choose to, no restraints whatsoever.
But the sooner you grasp the understanding of the inherent differences of these two gender, the better for you.
Like I said take a cue from nature.
No need to stress yourself. Just pray that you will be the head of your family in every true sense of the word, otherwise trouble awaits you.

No need to shake your head, this has nothing to do with mindset.
I just helping you to understand a little bit of the thing called natural law.
You go against this law, be prepared to face the consequences.

And the man does not have? Who even made this stupid law self
This stupid law is called natural law, the fight against nature is a very hard one so don't expect to win easily.
Now if you really want to win, you might start first by changing the physiological and mental set up of both genders to look same .the rest will follow naturally.

Women were not created to be pampered and we live in an era of GENDER EQUALITY which is championed by women, so it is not out of place to ask a woman to contribute financially to the running of the home[/quote
Not against each partner contributing financially, but you don't make it look like it's a prenup agreement.
The fact that there's a difference in the physiological make-up of both sexes, suggest that there's an inherent role programmed to each gender.
Men are different from women.
If you want to have peace of mind in your home, then know this, a man wants respect and submission from the wife.
Women on the other hand are good at submitting when the man is discharging his responsibility very well as head.
Now where a man defaults in this regard, there's always trouble, maybe not at the beginning, but a time will come when the woman will be fed up, disrespect and insults will follow, why? because naturally and sociologically women weren't meant to be providers.
I know things are changing as regards gender role, but I want to ask you a question, what do you think about this new breed of empowered women in terms of character?
The bird will one day come home to roost and guest what? Trouble.
Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Ran Away Because Of My Proposed Family Financial Plan by Sent87: 8:22pm On Jan 03, 2022
I love that your girlfriend, thank God for her life she ran away. There's a reason why men are regarded as head of the family, that's because they are meant to provide for their family, not saying your wife shouldn't contribute to the upkeep of the family, but you don't make it her responsibility like she must do it. The sooner you men realize that women were created to be pampered, the better for you. There's also a reason why God created them last. Everything was already on ground before they came. Now you don't need to wonder again why most women are wired to go after ready made men.

backbencher:

Security where there was bombing , herdsmen crisis , millitancy and kidnapping. Security that GEJ people were blaming Bihari for as if he was in power?

Economy that we were borrowing to pay salaries in the last year of GEJ?We just used high oil prices to hide the cracks.

Unity where the usual North Vs South fighting was ongoing? Where GEJ supporters were calling Buhari and northerners bokoists? Have you forgotten 2011? ( Mostly Buhari's supporters fault in fairness though)

Exchange rate? Yes it was better because we had high oil prices, higher than what Buhari has ever had, and thus more than enough dollars to buffer the naira. We were here before in 1973 to 82 when oil prices were high that one dollar got you one naira in 1978. And bread cost 50kobo per loaf? Didn't mean economy was good. Just oil dependent. Whch is bad.

Mind you Buhari has utterly failed. Security is even worse and the economy is horrible especially since he did not use the tools that the should have used to fix it, eg diversification

But GEJ was a disaster too.As are most Nigerian leaders because they tied our economy not to productivity but to price of oil.
With people who reason like you, I can say Nigeria truly deserve the leaders they elect.

Note that I consider that APC has failed

But for context, GEJ met the reserves at 60 billion dollars and oil prices at 91 dollars per barrel.Oil went up above 100 dollars per barrel between 2011-14

Bubu met the reserves at 32 billion dollars and oil prices at 75 dollars per barrel. Oil has never been above 80 dollars since he took over

But as I said Buhari is still a bad leader because he knew oil was not enough for a nation our size and he knew that he should have diversified from day one.
I'm not supporting Jonathan incompetence, but the question is Buhari was elected to fix Nigeria problems, how far has he gone in doing that? It's so maddening to think that after nearly seven years of governance, you're still blaming your predecessor?
Right now I'm dumbfounded and livid with anger.

You people should stop all this tribal politics that won't take Nigeria anyway, I'm from the South south, and I think Osibanjo at the moment is the most qualified candidate not because he's a southerner, but because he's vested with all the requisite qualifications and experience needed for the Job.
Let's stop all this tribal politics and vote in credible leaders before we elect another catastrophe like Buhari.
And yes I honestly and can't stand the idea of Tinubu being the president of Nigeria, reason being one, he helped foisted the calamity we currently have as a leader on us and secondly he has questionable character.

Ok you just confirmed my suspicion, you are truly not a Christian.
If we are to do only what Jesus command us to do and not do what he did, pray please tell me the difference. If you are truly a Christian you would understand that we are Christ rep on earth. He's our pattern. We follow him not only by words only but also by his deeds.

God never asked you, a Gentile, for tithes. Neither did Jesus Christ. His tithing and offering Laws He gave only to those of the blood of Jacob - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 undecided

The New Covenant has no tithing or offering laws to begin with so such ideas are sin against God. undecided

Are you certain about this? Because the same teaching is also found in Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 and what is spoken of Isaiah is easily confirmed. Read the passage from beginning to see if you properly grasp what Jesus Christ is saying at all.

I don't think I can properly grasp what Jesus is saying?
But I know one thing and that is God is love,
I won't watch a sick man die in front of me, if what can be use to save him is my tithe, assuming I have no other money.
What I understand foremost about Christianity is that it's founded on love. I don't know where this hardness of heart or wickedness is coming from. Certainly not from Jesus.

If you had actually considered what Jesus Christ said in context - Matthew 7 vs 1 - 13 , you would have instead seen clearly Jesus Christ's message there to us which is that we reject every doctrines and traditions of men as they are all of them lies, an abomination where God's Truth is concerned. undecided
There's nothing in Mathew 7:1-13 to support your stance, rather it actually gives more credence to my postulations.
Check out verse 12( Mathew 7)of that Scripture, it says we do to others what we except to be done to us, Jesus even went further to say this was the whole summary of the law and prophets.
So let's be sincere in your heart of hearts assuming you were the person in critical need or emergency you are asking for help from a brother who is going to pay his tithe and offering and who has no other money to spare aside from that tithe and money. What would be your expectation? Especially if your needs bother on life and death?
Won't you expect the brother to help you with that tithe money?
Let's be honest.
Please open your heart and reread Mark 7:11-13 thanks
