thanks for the brief information! There is no proper orientation on what this thread is all about and that's why some of us here are wondering what all this "grouping" and "topic thing is all about!
Please. Just rep your school or suggest a topic.. All this plenty discourses are just making the thread unnecessarily long. I think the Co-ordinators should be allowed to do their job.. Repping Anambra State University (ANSU)

PS: Mod.. Please, hide all these silly arguments. It's lengthening the thread unnecessarily. If possible sef, start up a new thread. Any information contained within this thread now can easily be overlooked.
so you think we just come here to rep our school and move on? Don't you think sharing ideas and constructive arguments or criticsm may educate us one way or the other? Please if you come here to only rep your school, do just that and move on without telling the mods how to do their job! Thanks

Illuminatus: You and this your Logic. That he doesn't have proof doesn't exactly mean that it isn't true. Last time I checked, this wasn't a murder trial, so need to be demanding for proof BEYOND ALL REASONABLE DOUBT yet.
with due respect, I think your observation is myopic... if it was a murder trial and the use of weapon is involved and the prosecuting counsel alleged that the weapon used by the accused was made available to him by security official(s) don't you think convincing the court beyond reasonable doubt will be neccessary?... And please when topics like this emerge, it is important we broadened our minds for we know not where this topic may come up for argument someday and not be narrow minded as you have seem to suggest!... Just my opinion though as a law student.... I rep the great UNIBEN!

Peace!!!

Elliotwiz1: That's what you should have asked about in your first post... He said something about dividing the schools into groups, i believe every group will have It's own topic to deliberate on.
he didn't present it as a topic initially that was why I didn't ask...please is the group deliberating on the topic memebers of nairaland?...-i don't really seem to understand you guyz on this.
Education › Re: Nairaland Undergraduates Central Chatroom by Sermwell(m): 8:05am On Oct 31, 2013
Elliotwiz1: we may not be the ones to debate on that topic, so it doesn't matter if i support it or not!
please if I may ask, who is suppose to debate on the topic?

you might not get any "like" for this fallacy you posted! Lol! If you had, I mean only if you had replaced your ABU with the great UNIBEN, I would have assured you atleast a million "likes".

Elliotwiz1: "the weapons used by criminals are gotten from the police and military force"
do you have proof of this? If you are approached to substantiate on this, will you be able to convince beyond reasonable doubt? Can you give evidence in support of this assertion?....well, except this is a topic for debate, you might just be guilty of unwarranted assumption.
Education › Re: Nairaland Undergraduates Central Chatroom by Sermwell(m): 7:38am On Oct 31, 2013

damoskiy: okay....let me break it down....I said so because from what I can see...pls don't ask me what I'm seeing... he is above 20... It is a faceless forum because most people don't display their pictures here...I have actually met over 5 people on nairaland in the real world....they never knew I was a member of nairaland and vice versa....so I just said that out of curiosity....thank you sir for the observation tho.... Hope you get it now... tongue
hmmmm....you said it out of curiosity?.... That's a fallacy of unwarranted assumption....although I understand you, I refuse to agree with you that your curiosity was neccessary. My opinion though!
