erad: Christianity and christians with their insatiable taste for irrelevancies. They leave the necessary things and start chasing after things that have only face value. Have those using IJN complained to you that its not working for them?? Run your race and live others to run theirs. God sent you to preach salvation (which I'm sure you've never done), not correct people's way of communicating... That's their business!well said!!! 10 bottles of annointing oil for you! Don't mind all these religious fanatics! |

LEXYCOM: My God will not allow ASUU call off the strike...cos am enjoying it...nextweek will determine wether or not you are serving a dead god! Just wait! |
fabby26: The poster is right in his opinion, why calling him 'mumu' . I think the correct name for this thread would have been " What will be your plans if and only if ASUU suspends the strike next week orwhy create a question for the op when he has simply ask his own question?...I called him "mumu" because he actually didn't make his opinion known but instead answering a question with a question!...so you are wrong to have said he expressed his opinion! He did not! |
Well said |
texazzpete: ASUU isn't fighting for 'something'. They are fighting for a comprehensive funding of the University system. Are we supposed to laud the FG for handing out the same peanuts in a delaying action that will leave the schools in their chronically poor state?sadly, you didn't answer any of my questions!... If there is a deadlock come monday, should we students remain at home forever no matter how legitimate ASUU demands are? If you think FG is ever going to meet all ASUU's demand then you have misfired! ASUU should be willing to shift grounds just as FG has done if not something has be done! What ever neccessary evil the FG is going to employ to ensure the students resume school should be welcome by all well meaning nigerians! ASUU cannot hold the educational sector to ransome because all their demands are not met! Haba! Besides FG has not openly ignore or unwilling to meet their demands! So what's the grandstanding for? |
timwezzb: And Who Told U they Will Suspend it Next Weekdoes this answer the question? mumu! This is how students like you fail exam! |
femialiu: point of correction... unilorin 49 lecturers didn't lose out.. they were at home (assumption) for 4 to 5 Years, afterwhich the court ordered the govt to pay them all that they ought to get if they were to work for all the years they were sitting at home....mind you, some of them were working in some other universities while the struggles continue...you are actually looking at this issue from a myopic point of view! Let me ask you too... What if FG makes its final offer and ASUU sticks to its ground? Should FG folds its hands and do nothing while the students remained at home? The FG has done something to end this strike, what has ASUU done to shift grounds?..let me also ask you...were this lecturers employed to work for FG for life?...is it not clear that because this men think they can work in private universities and are therefore being unresonable thereby jeopardising our future?...when the FG established universities were they not aware that this universities will be funded? ...if you think ASUU is fighting for the interest of the students, then you must be a sore joker! The truth is if they refuse to shift grounds come monday, FG should do whatever possible to send students back to school!...FG should open a register for those lecturer that are still willing to work and replace those that are bent on jeopardising our future! Period! |
KingMEXX: Lemme ask yu, If the FG reopens unis by next week, who would teach the students?? Yu guys should stop looking at instant gains such actions by fg would make and look beyond the future. The implications of such a move would be disastrous as it may lead to a sack of d lecturers which the lecturers would not take lightly and may further press charges for breach of contract. And ask the unilorin lecturers how it felt after dvwhole dramatic court case, they were d ones smiling to d bank as FG had to pay for all those years they missed out on working. Definitely ASUU would come out tops in any court case here. This would even lead to a Near-permanent shut down of Nigerian unis while d case is in court and would end up causing a crisis in the educational sector, and we would be back to square one. You guys should think before acting. Jonah shouldn't listen to all those clamoring for sack of the lecturers and initiation of plan b as these may hinder his 2015 plans. Nuff said thosacking of lecturers that are unwilling to work will not hinder any 2015 plan! The plan will even be better hindered when students are still at home! Let me ask you...what has ASUU done to shift grounds since this strike began?...if the FG makes its final offer on monday and ASUU remain adamant, what should FG do?... The earlier FG takes the bull by the horn on this issue the better for we students! |

The guy was actually talking about PEG not GEJ! So go and edit this rubbish! Thanks! |
KingMEXX: This is trash. Believe it or not, ASUU can sue the FG if they go ahead to open schools without reaching an agreement with dem. FG should desist from using their office powers to force ASUU to resume and concentrate on solving this issue once and for all. Am tired of all these strike every 2yrsyou are talking trash my guy! Even if ASUU sues FG, the case will linger in court for years and even when the federal high court decides in ASUU's favour, the FG will appeal even to the supreme court! And while all this is happening, students will be in school while the lecturers stay at home untill final determination of the court which may last for 10 to 15years!...please ask the 49 unilorin lecturers for more information.... And this lecturers will tell you that since then, they have never gone on strike in unilorin even now that other universities are on strike! So ASUU cannot be so dumb to go to court! |
Insipte of this, iam certainly sure that many more will still die on this route! Poverty is a killer disease! RIP to the dead! |
Omo See gobe! Let's wait and see! But if it doesn't happen guess what will be said........ It was averted by prayers! Hahahahahahaha!!! Naija prophets I hail oo! |
